ANDREWS
Andrews - Bruce Phillips
Before the Venjix virus attack, Andrews worked for the Landsdown. He did not have an easy time working for the Landsdown, especially since he worked mostly with Summer. Things became more difficult for Andrews when Summer began planning her surprise birthday party. Andrews waited outside as Summer rode her bike. After awhile, she pulled up to him. Summer: Make sure you get this right. Everything about this surprise party has to be absolutely perfect. Andrews handed her a towel. Summer used it and then dropped the towel onto the mud. Andrews bent down to pick it up. Andrews: Yes Miss Summer. Summer took off on her bike and splattered Andrews with mud. Later, Andrews held up a mirror as Summer applied lipstick. Once done, Andrews walked behind her. Summer: Until exactly 3:30...and that's when everyone yells surprise! Summer tossed her lipstick. Andrews leaped up to catch it and fell into the pond. Andrews: Yes Miss Summer. Once he dried off, Summer was using him as a foot stool as she painted her nails. Summer: I want a live band. I want ice sculptures. Oh, I want search lights. Andrews: Yes Miss Summer. Andrews even helped Summer as she practice her karate. Summer: I want caviar. Summer then used her karate moves and Andrews went flying. The time for Summer's surprise birthday arrived. Andrews was bandaged up and had some difficulty walking as he went to answer the door. A group of girls were on the other side. They saw Summer and yelled happy birthday. Summer pretended to be surprised. Later in the party, Andrews walked up to the house. Summer had run out, thinking her parents had arrived. Her group of friends hung back. Andrews told Summer that her parents could not make it, as they were detained in London. Summer was very upset. Summer had worked very hard to make sure the party was perfect for them. Andrews then presented their birthday present to Summer - the Landsdown Black Diamond. Summer was still upset. Brie, one of Summer's friends, walked up and told Summer who needed parents when you had bling. Brie lead Summer back into the party. Later that day, Venjix would launch his attack. Although Summer was confident that Andrews would never desert her, Andrews had left with the rest of the servants.
But Andrews had not abandoned Summer. He soon found an abandoned ice cream truck and drove off with it. Andrews searched for Summer in the desert terrain. After awhile, he spotted her in the distance. Summer came running up, waving her arms. Summer: Stop! Stop! Andrews stopped the vehicle and got out. Andrews: Forgive the delay...Summer was very happy to see Andrews and gave him a hug, dropping the money and diamond necklace in the process. Summer: Oh Andrews! Andrews: Forgive the delay Miss Summer. The Venjix drones bomb the limo. I had to scrounge another means of transport. Summer: Oh Andrews! Andrews: Come Miss Summer. I need to get you to Corinth City before they raise the shields. Your parents are waiting for you there. Summer: I don't know if I can be seen driving in anything that aggressively hideous. Andrews: Yes Miss Summer. Of course Miss Summer. I'll stick to the side roads. Away from prying eyes. Summer picked up the necklace and then they took off in the ice cream truck. Eventually the truck got stuck. Andrews tried to push it out of the mud, but it was no use, they were going to have to walk. Andrews carried Summer on his shoulders. Summer used an umbrella for shade. Andrews kept track of how many miles they had left to go. After awhile, Summer couldn't take it any longer and asked for a break. Andrews lowered her to the ground and then serve her food. Summer told Andrews that he had practically raised her, but she didn't know his first name. Andrews smiled, but didn't answer. It was time to go. Andrews bent down so that Summer could climb on his shoulders. Instead Summer remove her flimsy sandals, tossed them, and started walking. Andrews smiled proudly. Andrews was soon in the lead once more. He continued to count down the miles. Summer needed another break and sat down. Summer asked Andrews why he put up with her. Andrews told her because he waiting to see the person underneath the hair, makeup, and that diamond. Summer didn't even know who she was. Andrews told her not to worry, he did. They were about to set off again when Grinders attack. Summer battled and defeated the Grinders with ease, but Andrews did not have an easy time of it. Andrews was hit pretty hard. He lay crumpled on the ground. Summer raced over after she had defeated the last of the Grinders. Summer knelt down and told Andrews he had to get up, they needed to get into the city. Andrews told her how many more miles was left. Andrews would not be going, but he knew she could make it. Summer was distraught and told him he still needed to see who she was going to become. Andrews confidentially that Summer that he would see and then his eyes close. The Venjix army was getting closer and Summer had no choice but to leave.
