Boom - Kelson Henderson

Five years ago, Boom had entered the S.P.D. cadet training program, but he flunked after three days.  Commander Cruger did not give up on him.  Instead, Commander Cruger assign Boom the task of being Mrs. Kat Manx's chief gadget tester.  Kat gave the cadets simulated training sessions and often Boom was the simulated alien that the cadets chase down.  Although this task would sometimes cause Boom to dislocate a shoulder.  He got along well with cadets Sydney and Bridge, but he was terrified of Sky.  Boom thought the three cadets, Syd, Bridge, and Sky were the best ever and Kat agreed with him.  The three cadets were soon promoted to Squad B Power Rangers and Boom help distributed the S.P.D. morphers.  Kat showed the Rangers how the morphers were also judgment scanners.  Kat asked Boom if he had taken the last piece of chocolate cake.  Boom replied that he hadn't and Kat aimed the judgment scanner at him.  Distressed, Boom confessed that he had eaten the last piece of chocolate cake and didn't see what the big deal was.  The judgment scanner gave the verdict of guilty and soon Boom found that he had shrunk and was trapped within the confines of a card - which was to make transporting criminals a non-issue.  Boom hollered for someone to release him, but everyone ignored him for a while.  Finally Boom was released and sent on his next task - testing a fireproof garment for Kat.  Boom had fallen asleep and was unaware that he had caught on fire until RIC and Jack had put the fire out.  Boom assumed that Jack was the new Power Ranger, but Jack told him no way.  Boom didn't understand and told Jack he would give anything to be a Power Ranger.  Jack wasn't convinced and it was only seeing his friend Z in trouble that made Jack change his mind.

Commander Cruger had a meeting with the Rangers.  Commander Cruger, Z, Bridge, Sydney, and Sky left.  Boom told them "later" as they walked out.  Jack sleepily told Boom that this was so not what he had signed up for.  Boom couldn't understand it.  He told Jack that he would be so psyche to be the Red Ranger.  Jack told Boom that he would be psyche to be the Pink Ranger.  Boom paused for a moment and agreed.  Boom told Jack that being the Red Ranger was the big cheese and head honcho.  Boom told Jack that the Red Ranger told the cadets what to do and they had to do it.  Jack, with a grin on his face, asked Boom really.

Boom was standing on his head with Bridge - who was also standing on his head.  Boom asked him why they were doing this.  Bridge replied that gravity would make good ideas travel faster to their head.  Boom accepted this explanation.  Syd burst into the room.  Boom and Bridge quickly got up.  Syd asked them if they were interested in the ultimate update.  Boom and Bridge looked at each other and then followed Syd.  Syd had them upgrade RIC - who had been badly injured in battle.  When they were done, Boom and Bridge proudly walked into the commander center and announced RIC Version 2.0.  Bridge began to list all the upgrades they had done - CD player, refrigerator, and a projector.  Commander Cruger was not impressed and commented that RIC would amusing at a party, but not SPD material.  Boom told him that was not true as RIC's weapons and tracking systems had been upgraded.  Syd told the guys that RIC could find more of this stuff - green slime she had found in the industrial district.  Boom and Bridge hesitated - they hadn't tested RIC out yet.  Syd had RIC sniff the vial and asked him if he could find more.  RIC burst through the door in his eagerness to find the scent.  Later, Boom was back at the command center with the Rangers and several cadets.  Commander Cruger was commentating RIC on his extraordinary service in the line of duty and made RIC a full fledge member of the SPD family.  Syd commented that she really like RIC Version 2.0, but that she missed the old RIC.  Boom and Bridge reassured her that there was still some of the old RIC left in the new version.

Boom was helping Bridge test some theories that Bridge had about a bank robber.  Boom held onto the hose and Bridge turn on the water on.  The power of the water lifted Boom off his feet and he started to hollered at Bridge to turn it off, turn it off.  Then Boom started to enjoy being up in the air and hollered at Bridge to leave it on, leave it on.

Boom was working with Kat on analyzing some dolls that the Rangers had found in an empty building.  Bridge had already taken a reading of the dolls and they knew that Bugglesworth had changed the workers into dolls.  Boom and Kat entered the command center.  Boom was holding both dolls.  Boom told Commander Cruger, Sky, Syd, and Bridge that someone was collecting dolls and since they already had a set of twins, this set of twins was left behind.  Kat told Commander Cruger that the vital signs did not look good and something had to be done fast.  Boom began to play with the dolls, having them talk to each other - which amuse Syd, Bridge, and Sky, but not Kat.  Kat asked him to stop before she continued to tell Commander Cruger that something had to be done fast.

Boom was working with Kat when Kat pointed out to Boom that the two dolls had reverted back to humans.  Boom watched as the two humans hugged.  Boom was touched by the scene and tried to give Kat a hug but she stopped him.  Boom muttered to himself, no hugging, just working.

Boom attend Syd's surprise birthday party along with Z, Jack, Bridge, Sky, Commander Cruger, Kat, and several other friends.  Boom really enjoyed the cake and had a good time.

Boom hurried into the control room.  He was worried and told Commander Cruger and the Rangers that Kat had not returned to her post and was not answering her communicator.  RIC suddenly became alert and raced out of the room.  Boom watched RIC go and then turned and faced his friends.

Commander Cruger told Boom he wanted him to analyze the robot and the spikes and report back to him.  Boom nervously replied that it was Kat's job.  Angry, Commander Cruger barked at him that Kat was not here and asked if he could do the job.  Boom was uncertain, but when Commander Cruger growled at him, he told him he would try and quickly left the control room.  Later, Boom was back in the control room facing Commander Cruger, Sky, Jack, Bridge, Z, and Syd.  He nervously began to tell them the information he had found out.  Boom told them that they knew that a robot had been placing spikes and activating them on the westside, eastside, north and south end of town.  Boom found this humorous, but Commander Cruger did not.  Boom continued and told them that another spike had been placed at the airport.  He told them that the spikes were proton spikes and were harmless, unless pulled from the ground without deactivating them first.  Glancing at the palm of his hand, at the notes he had written there, he continued by telling them if a mega neutron spike was placed in the center, it would cause sizmatic activity on the quasar three level.  Commander Cruger assume that this is why Emperor Gruumm was on Earth - to witness the destruction.  Jack wanted to give Emperor Gruumm some destruction of their own, but Commander Cruger told them to wait.  RIC stumbled into the room badly injured.  Boom watched the hologram from General Benaag as he challenged Commander Cruger and revealed that he had been the one to capture Kat.  Kat warned Commander Cruger that it was a trap.  Emperor Gruumm appeared in the hologram and assured Commander Cruger that it was most definitely a trap.  The message ended and Boom's friends went into action.  Commander Cruger would become the Shadow Ranger and arrest and contain General Benaag.  The Rangers stopped the robot from placing the seventh spike.   The following day, Boom, Commander Cruger, Syd, Z, Bridge, Jack, Sky, and RIC went to Piggy's to celebrate.  Commander Cruger toasted his comrades in arms and friendship.  Commander Cruger also gave a special toast to Kat.  Boom and his friends took a sip of water and quickly spit it out.  Piggy's fresh gutter water was not to their liking.

Boom was asleep and dreaming.  In Boom's dream, the Power Ranger were having difficulty battling a Bluehead and several Krybots.  Suddenly the Orange Ranger appeared.  The rest of the Rangers stepped back as Orange Ranger battle the Bluehead and several Krybots single handily.  The rest of the Rangers were impressed by Orange Ranger's moves.  After the battle, Orange Ranger removed his helmet and it was Boom.  Boom smiled as Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger gushed about him being their hero.  Boom was awaken from his dream by the girl delivering mail.  Boom had been drooling in his sleep and quickly wiped off the saliva before accepting his mail.  Boom opened his mail and it was a hologram of his mom.  Mrs. Boom called Boom honey and told him that they were very excited as they had decided to make a trip to SPD.  Mrs. Boom told him that they would be catching the next...but Boom quickly shut the hologram and muttered oh boy.  Later, Boom was in the broom closet when the doors slid open and Boom fell out.  He looked up from the floor and saw his parents, Bridge, Syd, Z, and RIC.  Boom quickly got to his feet and told his parents that he had been practicing urban tactical closet surveillance.  His parents (Phil & Louise) were thrilled and gave him a big hug, telling him how proud they were of their little Power Ranger.  Boom gave an abashed grin at Bridge, Syd, and Z who had looked rather surprised.  After Boom's parents left, Z, Syd, and Bridge cornered Boom and questioned him.  Boom explained that he didn't have the heart to tell his parents that he had been dismissed from the academy.  Syd couldn't believe that he told his parents he was the Orange Ranger.  Boom added that he was also the A Squad commander.  Later, Boom was giving a tour of SPD to his parents.  There were several places that he pointed out but didn't show them because they were restricted.  His parents were thrilled to be at SPD and not see anything.  They were riding an escalator down when Z approached them.  Z told the "commander" that he was needed in the training area.  Boom took a moment before realizing that Z was referring to him.  Boom left with Z, followed by his parents. Boom was soon in the workout room and Syd and Z put him through his paces.  He stumbled quite a few times, but he kept at it.  His parents watched proudly.  At one point, Bridge shouted out a warning that Commander Cruger was coming.  Quickly Bridge, Syd, and Z dog piled Boom and hid him from Commander Cruger's sight.  After Commander Cruger had passed, Boom gave the thumbs up sign to his parents.  After the workout, all of them returned to the rec room.  Boom telling his parents that he likes to take it easy on the kids once in awhile.  Kat announced over the loudspeaker that the Rangers were wanted in the command center.  Boom's parents were very excited to see Boom in action.  Boom didn't know what to say or do.  Bridge told him that maybe now was the time to tell his parents the truth.  Syd chimed in and told Boom's parents that Boom had promised them that they could do the next assignment on their own.  Boom's parents were disappointed, but they understood.  Bridge, Syd, and Z quickly left.  Boom beamed at his parents.  Boom continued with the tour by taking his parents out into Newtech City and showing them the sites.  Boom told his parents every corner had a history of Rangerness to it.  Phil pointed out that the Rangers were battling.  Boom looked and saw Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Yellow Ranger battling a Bluehead.  He knew that they were in trouble.  Boom's parents were thrilled - they wanted to see their son in action.  Boom told them that he had forgotten his morpher and then hurried off with RIC.  Boom changed into his version of the Orange Ranger and arrived in the midst of the battle with RIC as his bike.  Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Green Ranger were stunned to see him.  Orange Ranger awkwardly went through some martial arts poses, ripping his suit in the process, and then joined in the battle.  Despite the other Ranger's attempts to stop him from getting hurt, Orange Ranger kept battling.  Orange Ranger was not any help and unfortunately his attempts only helped the Bluehead to get the laptop (a relocator that had transported Jack and Sky) back from the Rangers.  Bluehead left gleefully with the laptop.  The rest of the Rangers helped Orange Ranger to his feet.  They were angry and told him that he had really messed things up this time.  They added that they may never see Sky and Jack again.  Boom had no idea what to say.  They all returned to headquarters.  Boom left his parents in the rec room, changed, and entered the command center.  Commander Cruger was questioning the cadets as to how they had the laptop and then lost it to the Bluehead.  The cadets were stammering out excuses when Boom announced to Commander Cruger that it was his fault the Bluehead had gotten the laptop.  Boom explained, to a stunned Commander Cruger, that he had pretended to be a Power Ranger in order to impress his parents.  Commander Cruger asked him if he had anything else to say.  Boom gave Commander Cruger his letter of resignation and Commander Cruger accepted it.  Boom walked back to the rec room.  His parents were thrilled over their hero and Boom told them to stop.  Boom told his parents that he was a liar and he was not a Power Ranger.  He explained that he had been dismiss from the academy after three days, he couldn't cut it.  His dad didn't understand - Boom had been at SPD for five years.  Boom told them that he worked in the lab.  Boom had wanted his parents to be proud of him.  He informed his parents that he had resigned and was leaving to gather his things.  Boom entered the lab with an empty container.  Bridge, Syd, Z, and Kat were in the lab, trying to get Boom's analyzer to work.  Kat was happy to see him and told him of their troubles.  Boom immediately spotted that the cables were in the wrong ports and corrected the problem.  The analyzer was working and they soon located Jack and Sky.  Commander Cruger walked into the lab and wanted to know the status.  Kat informed him that thanks to Boom, they had located Sky and Jack.  Kat had designed a controller that would allow a person to teleport to where Jack and Sky where, and allow the person to rescue them and return to the lab.  Syd, Z, and Bridge all wanted to go, what Commander Cruger said no.  Commander Cruger told them that Emperor Gruumm already had the A Squad and the three of them were Earth's last defense.  Boom spoke up and told them that he would go.  He added that he may be a liar, but he was a great gadget tester.  Commander Cruger approved.  Boom was suited up and with the controller he teleported to where Jack and Sky were.  Boom landed on top of Tamars (who had been teleporting Jack and Sky to various places) and in the process of falling, drop the controller.  Red Ranger and Blue Ranger raced over and helped Boom to his feet.  They asked him what he was doing and Boom replied that he was rescuing them.  Then he had a moment of panic when he realized that he no longer had the controller.  Tamars had the controller.  Blue Ranger and Red Ranger battle Tamars, getting the controller out of his hand.  The controller bounced around from point to point until Boom finally got a hold of it.  Boom teleported them out and back into SPD's lab.  Z, Syd, and Bridge raced forward and Bridge gave Boom a hug.  Tamars started to emerged from the computer, and Boom raced forward and unplug it.  Commander Cruger stated that he didn't think they had seen the last of him.  Boom was surrounded by his friends.  Sky patted him on the shoulder and told him thanks.  Commander Cruger held up Boom's letter and told him he hadn't sign the letter of resignation, and therefore Commander Cruger could not accept it.  Boom jumped up and down, as his friends cheered.  Later, Boom took his parents to the lab to see where he worked.  He showed them the latest gadget, a booster.  As Boom strapped on the booster, he told them that without him testing the projects, the Rangers wouldn't have all the great stuff that they have.  Suddenly Boom took off and headed towards the sky.

Boom assembled with the rest of the SPD staff for the departure of Supreme Commander Birdy.  Kat muttered that Supreme Commander Birdy's short visit was a little too long for her.  Jack replied that made six of them.  Boom leaned forward and said seven of us.  Supreme Commander Birdy and Commander Cruger walked in and faced the group.  Jack stepped forward and told Supreme Commander Birdy that from all of SPD, they hoped he had a pleasant visit.  Supreme Commander Birdy thanked "Sky".  Jack corrected him, but he did not care.  Supreme Commander Birdy told the group that Commander Cruger had an announcement.  Commander Cruger told them that it had been his privilege to work with them and he had been relieved of his duties.  They were now to follow Supreme Commander Birdy's orders.  Boom was stunned as was everyone else.  Later, Commander Cruger would be reinstated.

Boom knew what he had just heard was very important.  He picked up his radio receiver and muttered to himself:  "can't drop this" - "got to get it to Cruger" - "got to get it to Kat".  Boom raced along the corridor and yelled "coming thru" and as he bumped into people he shouted out "sorry" as he continued.  Boom ran into the rec room and through a game that Syd and Bridge were playing.  Boom could barely get his words out.  He told them "me" - "no this radio" - "important" - "with Cruger" - "with Kat" - "Rangers" and finally "just follow me, now!".  Syd and Bridge raced along with Boom down the corridor towards the command center.  They bumped into Sky, Jack, and Z on the way.  Boom told them "follow, don't talk" and they raced along with him.  They all ran into the command center.  Commander Cruger barked at them:  "Cadets, I have told you before, this is not a place of play!"  Boom replied breathlessly, "not play - big trouble".  Kat walked towards the group with a concern look on her face.  Boom tried to stress how important what he had to say was:  "Listen.  I've been working on this for awhile".  Boom continued that he wondered where radio waves go after you hear them and logically came to the conclusion that the radio waves went into space.  Boom had built a radio receiver, on his own time, to see if he could hear any old broadcasts.  Instead Boom received a message from the future.  Boom  played the recording and it stated that 7/11/2040 was the fifteen anniversary of the Troobian forces taking over Earth.  Jack was skeptical about a broadcast from space, but Boom stressed to them to listen carefully.  Boom continued playing the recording which went on to say that S.P.D. had fallen and that they had sent the Omega, but not heard a word yet.  Boom was surrounded by serious faces, except for Jack who continued to be dismissive.  Kat told them that if Einstein's theory on time was correct, then the message was possible.  Commander Cruger took the message seriously as well.  Later, the message would be verified and the Troobian forces would begin their attack on Earth.

Boom was in the command center with Commander Cruger and Kat when the cadets entered.  They had been battling Shorty when another zord and Ranger appeared and contained Shorty.  The cadets filled in Commander Cruger and Kat with their encounter with the Omega Ranger.  The cadets were also puzzled over Omega Ranger demorphing into a shimmering white ball of light.  Boom overheard them and directed their attention to the monitor.  The monitor showed several different videos of a shimmering white ball of light throughout various places at S.P.D. and in the woods close by the time portal that Samurai had used.  The Omega Ranger then appeared and told them that he had come from the future to save them.  The Omega Ranger's body had been crystallized into light energy when he traveled through the time portal.  The cadets were initially happy to have another Ranger on their team, but became quickly offended when Omega Ranger told them that their technology was outdated.  Omega Ranger insisted that only he could defeat Morgana and Devastation.  The alarms went off and the cadets let Omega Ranger go on his own.  Later, the Rangers would help Omega Ranger and they would contain Devastation, Morgana having retreated.  Later, Boom entered the command center with his radio receiver.  The cadets, Kat, Commander Cruger, and Omega Ranger were all there.  He told them to listen and soon elevator music from July 11, 2135 was playing.  Boom told them the good news was that the end of the world message was gone, the bad new, elevator music was still going strong in 2135.  Commander Cruger noted that they had changed history and thanked Omega Ranger.  Omega Ranger gave credit to the Rangers.  Kat told Omega that his vehicle and zord would be safe in their holding bay, but as of yet, they had no way to send him back.  The cadets welcome Omega to their home and wanted to give him a tour.  Omega Ranger told them that he already knew the place - having lived here as a young boy.  Omega Ranger demorph to a ball of light and told them that they knew him by his human name, Sam.    Sam then floated out of the command center.  Boom and the cadets were startled and then raced after Sam.

Boom was working in the lab with Kat, trying to finalize work on the battlizer with RIC.  Kat told Boom:  One final adjustment to the hyper transistors and RIC should be good to go.  Boom told Kat:  This is going to be beyond incredible.  Kat made the final adjustment and Boom excitedly asked Kat:  Ohh, can I do the honors?  Please?!  Kat responded:  Okay, but be careful.  Boom excitedly held out the morpher and stated:  S.P.D. Battlizer Engage!  Suddenly several wires on RIC caught on fire and RIC's head went flying.  RIC's head hit the floor and skidded to Commander Cruger's feet - who had just entered.  Boom quickly stood by Kat's side.  Commander Cruger noted RIC's head on the floor and commented:  Hmmm, I see the battlizer is not quite finish.  Kat responded:  A temporary setback, sir.  I'm sure we'll have it fully functional right away.  Commander Cruger barked at them:  See that you do!  Later, Boom walked in with Kat into the command center.  The cadets have fought three previously contained aliens and were concerned that they had escaped.  Boom and Kat overheard Sky tell the group:  Kat says those cards are fool proof and there's no chance of escape.  Kat replied:  And I was right.  They are all still here.  Commander Cruger was concern and told the cadets that they didn't have the manpower to try and find all the previous contain aliens.  Commander Cruger told the cadets to search the city's grids for any unusual activity.  Kat asked Jack if she could have his morpher for the new weapons upgrade.  Boom excitedly told Jack that he was going to love the new weapons upgrade - it was incredible.  Boom look to RIC for reconfirmation and asked him, right RIC.  RIC barked and then took off running.  Boom chased after him.

Boom was in the lab dusting various items.  He sang quietly:  cleaning and tidying, cleaning and tidying.  He noticed a file on the desk.  Boom looked around and then picked up the file.  He said:  Hmmm, a file on Mirloc.  Boom began reading the file:  Planetary mayhem. theft...blab, blab, blab.  Life in prison, blab, blab, blab.  Believe to be responsible for the...Boom stopped reading and uttered a soft:  Oh!  And then realization hit him and Boom said:  Oh no!  Boom walked out of the lab and ran into Sky.  He said:  Hey!  Sky!  Boom started to walk alongside Sky, who had said a word to him.  Boom told him:  Look, I'm real sorry to hear about Mirloc escaping.  But, you know, I'm sure you'll catch him.  Which is good, because after all he is responsible for your father's...Boom trailed off after he saw the look on Sky's face.  Sky walked away angrily and Boom realized:  He didn't know.

Boom ran back and forth as Sky and Jack fired upon him.  Boom was using a hologram and he appeared as an alien creature.  He managed to outmaneuver the guys several times.  Eventually Sky fired on him and the hologram ended.  Boom took a deep breath.  He told them:  Way to go guys!  The old double team work.  Jack replied:  Yeah, I guess so.

Boom was working in the lab with Kat.  Kat told him:  One more terminal connection and this automated transport arm should be back in business.  The automated transport arm began to move.  Boom told Kat:  Wow!  That's amazing!  You did it again, Kat.  You must, like, been top of your class at the Science Academy, right?  Kat replied:  yes, but Boom, I've told you before.  It's not about how much knowledge you have.  It's what you do with it, that's important.  Commander Cruger walked in and asked Kat:  How's it coming along Miss Manx?  Kat told Commander Cruger:  Fine Commander.  Right on schedule.  The monitor beeped and Boom, Kat, and Commander Cruger looked towards it as Supreme Commander Birdy appeared.  Commander Cruger acknowledge Birdy's presence:  Commander Birdy.  Kat:  Hello sir.  Supreme Commander Birdy acknowledge each one:  Cruger, Dr. Manx, Bang.  Boom corrected him with:  Boom.  Commander Cruger asked Supreme Commander Birdy:  What can I do for your Commander?  Is there a problem at headquarters?  Supreme Commander Birdy told them:  On the contrary, I have good news.  I'm calling to offer Dr. Manx's a top level position her at the SPDHQ as Chief f Technology.  Kat was stunned and told them that she would have to think about it.  Boom raced to the rec room where the cadets and Omega Ranger were hanging out.  He told them about Birdy's offer and they were upset as well.  Z pointed out that this was a great opportunity for Kat.  Boom didn't want Kat to go, what would he do.  Bridge asked him if he wanted what was best for Kat, and Boom reluctantly agreed that he did.  Syd pointed out that Kat would never leave, if she thought she was still needed.  Z came up with a plan, but the alarm went off and they all left, leaving a bewildered Boom behind.  Later, Boom was informed of the plan.  Boom worked through several projects and was busy when Kat walked in.  Kat was surprised at how much work Boom had accomplish.  Kat had decided to tackle a few projects herself, but Boom had covered them all.  Kat decided to check the command center and Boom told her to go ahead, as he had everything under control.  Kat walked out.  Later, Boom walked into the command center with Commander Cruger.  Boom was very upset.  Commander Cruger announced that Kat had taken the position at headquarters and had already left, not liking goodbyes.  Commander Cruger walked out and Boom stepped forward.  The computer immediately announced that it had a malfunction.  Later, Boom worked frantically in the lab.  He could no longer get the automated transport arm to work.  The arm went wild and Boom tore up some wires to stop it.  The monitor beeped and it was Kat.  Boom tried to act casual as Kat asked him how things were going.  Boom told her that everything was fine.  Kat noticed the smoke and asked Boom about it.  Boom told Kat that he had been having a bar-b-que, as the arm tried to grab him, told Kat a hasty goodbye.  As Boom wrestle with the arm, he noted a robot in the city.  Boom struggled and managed to contact the Rangers to let them know.  Boom monitored the battled from the lab.  Later, Commander Cruger contacted Boom and asked him how it was going.  Boom told Commander Cruger that the zord was getting it's butt kicked.  Later, Kat had returned as Kat Ranger to help the Rangers.  Kat was leaving once more and was surrounded by the cadets.  Boom screamed Kat's name as he raced to caught up with them.  Boom got down on his knees and pleaded with Kat to stay.  He told her a list of things that had gone wrong during her absence, including blowing up the lab.  The cadets confirmed that the place hadn't been the same without her and asked Kat if Birdy would let her stay.  Kat told them that she would simply tell Birdy that she had to stay where she is most needed.  Boom grinned, but his grin faded as Kat questioned him about blowing up her lab.

Boom was in the command center with Kat.  They were monitoring the battle between B Squad Rangers and A Squad Rangers.  The B Squad Rangers were not doing well.  Boom:  They're getting pulverized.  Isn't there something we can do?  Kat told him that S Squad had more training and experience.  They were in a different league.  Later, the whole base shook.  Boom asked Kat what it was.  Kat checked and solemnly told Boom that the base was under attack.  All the monitors showed Troobians forces in various parts of the base and winning the attack.  Kat told Boom that they had to secure the command center and assume the worst.  Later, the secured doors were knocked down by Broodwing and his three generals.  Red Ranger had contacted Kat requesting the zords.  Kat told him in a moment, the base was under attack.  Boom and Kat began battling the three generals.  Kat managed to break free long enough to send the Rangers their delta runners and send the S.W.A.T. flyers to a secret underground zord bay.  Boom was not much help in the battle area and they were soon captured.  Boom and Kat were placed in a holding cell.  Broodwing was now operating the base zord.  Kat told Boom that they had to escape.  Their cell was guarded by two Orangeheads.  Boom had an idea and began to whistle for RIC.  RIC arrived and knocked out the two Orangeheads and freed Boom and Kat.  Boom told RIC he was a good dog.

Boom stood beside Kat in the command center.  The remaining cadets were gathered there.  Kat:  Commander Cruger and the B Squad have been captured by Emperor Gruumm.  There is no one left to protect Earth, but us.  Omega Ranger will lead those of you who are willing to fight against the inevitable Troobian invasion.  The odds of coming out of this are slim.  The crowd began to muttered among themselves.  Kat noticed this:  If any of you want to leave, please do so now.  Everyone started leaving.  Boom stepped forward:  Hey, wait!  Boom told the crowd that he understood and that Kat was exaggerating when she said the odds were slim, hopeless was more late it.  Boom told them but he staying even if everyone of them left.  Boom was staying for Commander Cruger, Sky, Jack, Bridge, Z, and Syd.  He was staying because they would stay for him and for them.  Boom told the group that they would probably lose the fight, but he was not giving up without a fight.  Kat and Omega Ranger stood on either side of him.  Boom told the crowd for Gruumm to bring it on.  The crowd cheered and they were ready to fighting alongside Boom, Kat, and Omega Ranger.  Later, Bridge contacted Kat and she sent the S.W.A.T. flyers to the Rangers.  Later, Boom, Kat, Omega Ranger and the rest of the cadets went outside the base and prepared themselves for the battle ahead.  Moments later, the invasion began.  Boom and the rest fought as hard as they could, but the battle was intense and Boom found himself being helped by Kat.  Piggy had even joined in the battle.  Later, during the battle, Boom noticed something strange in the sky and pointed it out to Kat, asking her what it was.  Kat looked puzzled as she told him it looked like a time portal.  Moments later, Nova Ranger stepped out of the time portal.  Nova Ranger had been searching the time line for Omega Ranger.  Nova Ranger, another Ranger from the future, began helping them with their battle.  Later, Omega Ranger and Nova Ranger sent Boom, Kat and the rest of the crowd back inside the base, assuring them that they had everything under control.  Boom and Kat entered the command center.  Kat immediately tried contacting Commander Cruger and got a response.  Commander Cruger was inside Omni, but he didn't know how to shut it down.  Boom watched anxiously from behind, as Kat told Commander Cruger to download all the information.  Later, Kat contacted Commander Cruger and told him that she had found a weakness.  The core of Omni was hidden under his left arm.  If the panel was opened, the Rangers could fire at it.  Commander Cruger tried, but Gruumm had locked the controls.  Commander Cruger was going to have to open the panel manually.  Boom realized the serious of the situation when Kat became tearful when talking to Commander Cruger.  Commander Cruger had found the panel, but his chances of survival were slim.  Kat told Commander Cruger when he was ready.  The situation was being monitored on the screen in the command center.  Commander Cruger opened the panel and the Rangers maxed out their lasers and fired.  Boom and the rest of the staff held it's breath and then cheered as Omni exploded into pieces.  Later, Boom, Kat, and the rest of S.P.D. went outside to look at the damage.  Kat told the group to help the injured and report anyone missing.  Supreme Commander Birdy and Sergeant Silverback had joined Omega Ranger and Nova Ranger in their battle against the Troobian forces.  Boom and the rest were stunned when they heard Commander Cruger's voice congratulate them.  Commander Cruger and Isinia walked forward, with the B Squad cadets behind them.  Commander Cruger lifted up his sword and lead a cheer for S.P.D.  The B Squad cadets cheered for S.P.D.  Boom and the rest of the crowds also cheered for S.P.D.  Commander Cruger told them that they had much to celebrate, they had save Earth.  Gruumm suddenly appeared.  Gruumm wanted to battle Commander Cruger.  Jack and his team wanted to help, but Commander Cruger knew it had to be between him and Gruumm.  Boom and the rest of the crowd watched anxiously as Commander Cruger and Gruumm faced each other and the battle began.  Soon, Commander Cruger had Gruumm on his knees.  Gruumm told Cruger to show no mercy.  Commander Cruger raised his sword high above his head and then brought it down to knocked off Gruumm's other horn.  Gruumm was furious.  Commander Cruger quickly contain Gruumm and faced the crowd, telling them justice had been served.  Boom and the rest of the crowd cheered.  The following day, Boom was in the command center.  Kat, Dr. Felix, and Commander Cruger were there.  Sky, Z, Syd, Omega Ranger, Nova Ranger, and Bridge stood at attention.  Commander Cruger announced that Jack had resign from S.P.D.   Boom and his friends were stunned.  Syd couldn't believe that Jack would leave without saying goodbye.  Z told them that was the way Jack was, once a job is over, he's gone.  Commander Cruger congratulated them on their outstanding job in protecting Earth.  Commander Cruger told them that he was elevating them to A Squad.  The cadets glanced at each other and said nothing.  Commander Cruger asked them if they had heard, he was promoting them to A Squad.  Bridge told him that they heard, but they had talked it over and they wanted to remain B Squad, it was who they were.  Commander Cruger agreed.  Commander Cruger pointed out that they had no Red Ranger, no leader.  Commander Cruger asked Sky to step forward.  Commander Cruger asked Sky if he appointed Syd as Red Ranger, would Sky follow her into battle.  Sky told Commander Cruger that he would follow anyone Cruger thought was worthy of being the Red Ranger.  Commander Cruger made Sky the new Red Ranger and told him that his father would be proud of him.  Boom and the rest applauded.  Boom went to stand beside Kat.  A time portal opened and Omega Ranger told them that their ride was here.  Omega Ranger and Nova Ranger stood in front of the time portal and thanked everyone for making the future safe.  Z stepped forward and gave Omega Ranger a hug.  Boom and Kat smiled at each other, as Z told Omega Ranger she would see him in twenty years.  Omega Ranger assured her that he would be there.  For a brief second Omega Ranger's and Nova Ranger's bodies materialize and then they vanished into the time portal.
