Sergeant Silverback - John Tui

Sergeant Silverback is a friend of Commander Cruger.  Sergeant Silverback has his own R.I.C. that backs up Sergeant Silverback whole heartily.  He is a drill sergeant that lives on the planet Zentor.  Commander Cruger contacted Sergeant Silverback and told him that he was sending him five cadets (Jack, Sky, Syd, Z, and Bridge) to him to relearn how to accept one another.  Sergeant Silverback waited for the cadets in his S.P.D. vehicle.  He saw their space craft land hard, but the cadets made it.  The cadets were walking down a sand dune, when Sergeant Silverback began firing at them from his vehicle.  He drove the vehicle and fired at the cadets until he reached them.  Sergeant Silverback emerged from his vehicle with R.I.C. at his heels.  Jack took one look at him and told the others that they were in trouble.  Sergeant Silverback referred to Jack as a hot shot and told him that was the understatement of the year.  He introduced himself to the cadets as they stood at attention.  Sergeant Silverback walked up and down the line and continually got into each cadet's face as he hollered at them.  He told them that he was the meanest, fiercest teacher that they had ever had.  Sergeant Silverback promised that when he was done with them, they wouldn't like him.  Jack muttered under his breath that he already didn't like him.  Sergeant Silverback overheard him and told him to give him 50 pushups.  Jack started to protest and Sergeant Silverback changed it to one hundred.  Jack immediately got down to the ground and began doing pushups.  Sergeant Silverback asked the rest of the cadets if anyone else wanted to disrespect him.  The cadets remained silent.  Sergeant Silverback told them that it was his job to make them relearn how to accept each other.  Before he entered his vehicle he told them, let the training begin.  Sergeant Silverback left and hid in the distance.  He watched as several Krybots suddenly surrounded the cadets - it was a simulation he had set and the Krybots were very difficult to defeat.  Sergeant Silverback watched and muttered to R.I.C. that the cadets were pathetic.

Sergeant Silverback assumed a monster shape and attacked the Rangers.  As they got up again, Sergeant Silverback reverted back to his normal shape.  Sergeant Silverback hollered:  Rangers - ten-hut!  The Rangers immediately stood at attention.  He asked them:  What just happened here cadets?  Red Ranger replied:  We were preparing to battle that monster.  Sergeant Silverback said in disbelief:  Preparing?!  Sergeant Silverback walked up and down the line, occasionally sticking his face in one of the Rangers.  He told them:  You prepare to go on a date.  You prepare dinner.  You prepare to go on vacation.  You do not prepare to go to battle.  You are already prepared.  You do not wait for the enemy to come to you.  You go to your enemy.  Do you understand?  The Rangers quietly replied yes sir.  This enraged Sergeant Silverback more.  He lectured them, telling them that they had disgraced the Rangers who had fought before them.  Sergeant Silverback took away their colors.  Sky began to protest and Sergeant Silverback got into his face.  Sergeant Silverback told them that they were demoted to D Squad and took away their morphers.  He then welcome them to S.P.D. training.  Sergeant Silverback set the cadets on a grueling course of numerous hikes, climbing and pushups.  He constantly push at them, telling them that he didn't have all day.  After one particularly difficult hike, the cadets took a break.  Sergeant Silverback walked up and hollered at them that he didn't tell them they could have a break and that Gruumm would not be giving them a break.  Sky replied that they had played his game and done his course.  Sergeant Silverback told them that they all had to do one hundred pushups.  The cadets started on the pushups and eventually Bridge forgot how many they had done.  Sergeant Silverback ordered them to stop.  He told them he was sending them back with a recommendation that they be dismiss from the academy.  The cadets pleaded for a second chance.  Sergeant Silverback glanced back at RIC, who nodded at him.  Sergeant Silverback looked back at the cadets and told them that he would think about it and told them to do a short twenty mile hike.  The cadets took off in different directions.  Sergeant Silverback wanted them to work together and had each cadet heard the voice of another cadet calling for help.  Sergeant Silverback watched from a distance as the cadets decided that they wanted to work together as Rangers and friends.  He watched as Syd disarm several silver spikes that were firing at them.  Sergeant Silverback jumped up and down, thrilled with the cadets when they worked as one and defeat the Krybots.  Sergeant Silverback drove the S.W.A.T. vehicle and the cadets came running.  He emerged from the vehicle and asked them what they had to say for themselves.  Jack stepped forward and thanked Sergeant Silverback for the opportunity he had given them and apologize for not seeing it sooner.  Sergeant Silverback questioned and?  Jack stepped back and Sky stepped forward telling him that they were Rangers and worked as a team.  Sergeant Silverback stuck his face into Sky's and then told them excellent.  Sky grinned as he stepped back.  Sergeant Silverback congratulated them as he told them that they had passed S.W.A.T. training.  He tried to contact Commander Cruger to tell him that he was sending his team back, but Kat instead.  Kat told him that Commander Cruger was in trouble and they needed the Rangers right away.  Sergeant Silverback gave the Rangers their morphers back and told them that the S.W.A.T. vehicle as theirs to use.  He dismissed them and sent them back to Earth.

Headquarters sent Sergeant Silverback, Supreme Commander Birdy, and others to Newtech City to help them in their battle against the Troobian invasion.  Omega Ranger and Nova Ranger were thrilled with their arrival.  Sergeant Silverback and the rest went immediately into action and battle the numerous Krybots, Blueheads, and Orangeheads on the ground.  Omni arrived on Earth and claim it as his own.  The rest of the Rangers were in their zord and they battled Omni.  Sergeant Silverback and the rest of the crowd watched from below as the Rangers maxed out their lasers and fired at Omni.  Moments later, Omni erupted into pieces.  Sergeant Silverback, under Kat's direction, began helping the injured.  Kat also wanted anyone report missing.  Sergeant Silverback and the rest of the crowd were stunned when Commander Cruger arrived, with Isinia at his side, and B Squad behind him.  Sergeant Silverback's RIC looked up at him, and Sergeant Silverback muttered an I'll be.  Commander Cruger lead a cheer for S.P.D. and Sergeant Silverback and the rest of the crowd repeated the cheer joyfully.  In the midst of their celebration, Gruumm arrived.  Sergeant Silverback, along with the rest of the crowd, watched anxiously as Commander Cruger and Gruumm battled.  Eventually, Commander Cruger knocked off Gruumm's other horn and contained him.  Commander Cruger faced the crowd and told them that justice had been serve.  Sergeant Silverback and the rest of the crowd cheered.
