Bridge, Sky, and Sydney have a difficult battle against the creatures, that they discovered are robots. Bridge suggests that they morph and they do. Bridge is the Green Ranger, Sydney is the Pink Green, and Sky is not happy about being the Blue Ranger. Jack has a change of heart and with Z returns to help the Rangers battle the creatures. Together they are able to defeat the creatures. The Rangers demorph and Bridge and Sydney are grateful for Jack's and Z's help. Sky is not and is ready to arrest them. Chief Cruger arrives and tells Sky to step down. Jack and Z are placed in jail and Chief Cruger arrives in their cell. Cruger wants them to become Power Rangers. Z accepts and is introduced to the rest of the team - who are all stunned that Z will be working with them.
Jack tries to break out of his cell, but has no luck, and is being watched by RIC. Z brings some food to Jack in his cell. Jack is upset that Z has broken up their team, but Z won't accept the blame. Z tells Jack their team was broken up because they were arrested and she enjoys working for a larger cause. Z leaves and joins the rest of the Rangers as Cruger fills them in on what they had been fighting - Krybots and a Bluehead. An alarm sounds and Squad A Power Rangers are off on another mission. Squad B Power Rangers are given street cleaning detail. Bridge picks up the residual of Krybots and the rest of the Rangers question Z about anything she and Jack may have picked up. Z tells them of the silver container and the Rangers go looking for it. Back, Jack smells smoke and with RIC's help he breaks out and puts out the fire that is on Boom. Boom was testing Dr. Manx's latest fireproof suit and was unaware that he was on fire. Boom assumes Jack is a Power Ranger. Jack tells him he is definitely not a Power Ranger. Z, Sydney, Bridge, and Sky find the silver container. Z takes the silver container to a contact, who claims he doesn't know what it is. Bluehead appears and the Rangers morph into action. Sky asks Cruger for backup, but Cruger cannot send any. Jack overhears the transmission and he sees that Z is in trouble. Bluehead releases several Krybots and the Rangers are kept busy battling them. The Rangers see someone else approach and it turns out to be Jack. Jack asks the Rangers if they want some help and then morphs into the Red Ranger. The Red Ranger battles the Krybots. The Red Ranger destroys the Krybots. A huge robot appears, but the A Squad Power Rangers take care of it in their zords. Afterwards, the squad B Rangers appear in front of Cruger. Cruger is not happy with them and tells them because they did not follow orders, Emperor Gruumm now has the proton cylinder. Cruger dismisses everyone except Jack and Z. Jack and Z still have to pay for their crime of stealing and they are given the task of cleaning all the windows at headquarters.
