At Reefside High School, the class of '04 is welcome back. Inside the school, Conner spots his friend Ethan. Conner shouts out: Ethan! Hey man wait up! Ethan is happy to see his friend Conner. They ask each other what they are doing. Conner is trying to get a soccer camp program started and Ethan is attending Reefside Tech. Kira calls out to the guys and gives them each a hug. Conner and Ethan are surprised to see her, as they thought she was in New York getting her music career going. Kira tells them they can already hear her voice on the radio, singing a jingle about cat litter. The three walk together and are suddenly teleported to the year 2025. Conner, Kira, and Ethan are very confused. Broodwing tells them that he wants them to fight for him. Kira, Ethan, and Conner refuse. They grab the dino gems (Broodwing had acquired the dino gems on the planet Onyx) and run. At the command center, Kat is picking up strong Ranger readings in the morphing grid. Commander Cruger questions Kat as to whether the cadets are in the city. Moments later, the cadets walk in. They all puzzle over the readings until they come to the conclusion that A Squad has returned. The cadets race out to find A Squad. Meanwhile, Ethan, Kira, and Conner run into a dead end. Broodwing and several Krybots confront them. Kira, Conner, and Ethan battle the Krybots. They destroy several of them. Ethan is intrigued when a he spots all the electronics inside a Krybot. Ethan, Conner, and Kira are blown off their feet. They gathered back up and watch in amazement as the cadets began to battle the Krybots. After chasing off Broodwing and destroying the Krybots, the cadets walk up to Kira, Conner, and Ethan. Conner, Ethan, and Kira thanked them. Jack tells them it's all in a days work. Ethan, Kira, and Conner are amaze that the cadets battle Krybots and Jack tells them that they are Power Rangers. Kira tells them that they can't be Power Ranger. Defensively Z asks her why. Kira, Conner, and Ethan bring up their wrists with the dino bracelets and knows them that they are the Power Rangers.
The cadets take Kira, Conner, and Ethan to S.P.D.'s base. The cadets explain to them what year it is and what is going on. Conner, Ethan, and Kira are a little taken aback by the sight of Commander Cruger, but it is explain that mostly aliens and humans co-exist peacefully. A screen shows the Dino Rangers in action and how they fought against very powerful villains. Ethan, Kira, and Conner feel a moment of pride. Commander Cruger tells them that Broodwing had gone through a big expense to get them, but he wasn't likely to just give up. Conner tells Commander Cruger that they can take on anyone. The cadets disagree, telling them that they had been trained to tackle Broodwing and Gruumm. The alarms go off, there is a Dragoul at the rock quarry. Kira, Conner, and Ethan want to help, but Commander Cruger refuses to let them go. The cadets suit up and take off. They arrive at the rock quarry and immediately go into S.W.A.T. mode. The Rangers battle Dragoul and have a very difficult time. The situation is monitored back at base and Ethan, Kira, and Conner want to help. The Dragoul vanishes underground, but the battle continues as hundreds of Orangeheads, Blueheads, and Krybots appear. Commander Cruger decides to join the battle and tells Kira, Ethan, and Conner that they are to stay in the command center. Commander Cruger suits up to Shadow Ranger and joins the rest of the Rangers in their battle. A giant robot appears in the city and Omega Ranger is sent to battle it. At the rock quarry, Gruumm and Morgana appear and the battle intensifies.
Back at the base, Conner tells his friends they have to help out. Kira reminds Conner that Commander Cruger told them to stay, but Conner doesn't care. Kira and Ethan agree and they are about to leave when Kat stops them. Kat asks them to hand over their dino bracelets and she powers up their dino gems. Meanwhile, Omega Ranger has a difficult time battling against the Dragoul. The rest of the Rangers are also having a difficult time in their battle. During the battle the Rangers demorph. Conner, Ethan, and Kira appear at the rock quarry. The cadets and Commander Cruger are surprise to see them and tell them that they shouldn't be here. Conner tells them that Kat had regenerated their dino gems and Kira tells Commander Cruger not to be mad, he would have done the same thing. All the Rangers power up and face down Gruumm, Morgana, and the numerous Orangeheads, Blueheads, and Krybots. The Red Rangers work together in battle. Both Blue Rangers and Green Ranger work together. The two Yellow Rangers and Pink Ranger take on Morgana. Shadow Ranger, in the S.W.A.T. vehicle, takes on Gruumm. Eventually the Rangers gain an upper hand on the Blueheads, Orangeheads, and Krybots. Shadow Ranger sends the S.P.D. Rangers to the city to help Omega Ranger battle the Dragoul. Omega Ranger is very relieved when the rest of the Rangers appeared. They combine the two zords and destroy the Dragoul. The Dino Rangers finish off the last of the Krybots, Blueheads, and Orangeheads. With Shadow Ranger, they face down Gruumm and fired at him. Gruumm vanishes. The rest of the Rangers return to the rock quarry. Shadow Ranger tells them what a great job they have done. They all return to the command center. Conner, Kira, and Ethan feel that they should stay and help the cadets in their battle against Gruumm. Commander Cruger appreciates their offer, but they need to go back. Sydney tells Kira that she becomes a big singing star and she grew up listening to her songs. Sky tells Conner that the McKnight Soccer Camps are worldwide. Bridge tells Ethan that he designs technology that they still use today. Kira, Ethan, and Conner are thrilled and decide that they are ready to go back. Commander Cruger thanks them and Kat tells them that they will have no memory of what had occurred. Ethan, Kira, and Conner are returned to the year 2005 and at Reefside High School. Each one is puzzled for a moment. Kira asks Conner and Ethan if they think Dr. Oliver is around and they happily go off to look for him.
