Bridge, Syd, Z, and Sky are in the rec room.  Bridge has a plate stack full of toast.  Bridge asks:  Does anyone want any toast?  it's really buttery.  Z gives Bridge a hard time about not being able to say buttery without any hand motions.  Bridge tries to prove her wrong, but he can't.  Commander Cruger walks in and tells them although it has been quiet for the past few days, they still have to stay alert.  Commander Cruger notes that Jack is gone and the cadets tells him that Jack got bored and went outside.  Commander Cruger notices the stack of toast and asks Bridge if it is all for him.  Bridge offers him some, and has to restrain his hand from making any motions.  Commander Cruger refuses the toast.  Meanwhile, Jack is out walking in the city.  Jack spots clothing being loaded onto a van and assumes it's a scam like the ones he and Z use to do.  Jack walks up and tells the "thief" she is under arrest.  It turns out the thief if the daughter of the owner of Samuel's Clothing - Ally Samuels.  Ally is preparing to give out the clothes to the poor and Jack offers to help, which Ally accepts.  Deciding Jack's idea is a good one, Z and Sky are walking in the city.  Nearby several people are attacked by Delex.  Z and Sky morph and battle Delex.  Kat contacts Jack, who is helping Ally, to tell him his backup is needed.  Jack tells Ally he has to go and races over.  Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger are having a difficult time against Delex when the rest of the Rangers appear, including Omega Ranger.  The Rangers battle Delex, but Delex manages to get away.

Everyone, except Jack, returns to the command center.  There is a hologram of Delex on display and Kat tells the cadets the information on Delex.  Commander Cruger notices that Jack is not present and asks where he is.  Z tells Commander Cruger that Jack left after the battle.  Delex reappears and Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Pink Ranger, Green Ranger, and Omega Ranger battle him.  Commander Cruger and Kat are monitoring the battle.  Commander asks where Jack is and Kat tells him that she hasn't been able to locate him.  Meanwhile Jack is with Ally fishing.  Jack had taken off his communicator and doesn't hear it.  Jack is having a great time with Ally while the rest of the Rangers have a difficult time with Delex.  Jack and Ally walk back together and Jack finally hears his communicator.  Jack takes off to help his friends.  Red Ranger arrives to help the rest of the Rangers.  Delex grows larger and Kat sends the Rangers their S.W.A.T. flyers.  The Rangers form their megazord and the battle continues into outer space where Delex is contained.

Everyone returns to the command center.  Commander Cruger tells the cadets that they have done well.  The cadets start to leave, but Commander Cruger tells Jack he wants him to wait.  Commander Cruger asks Jack what happened, and Jack tells him that they defeated Delex.  Commander Cruger wants to know why Jack was not available at first.  Jack tells Commander Cruger just because he doesn't have a life outside of S.P.D., doesn't mean he doesn't.  Jack leaves and Commander Cruger asks Kat if she can believe what Jack has said.  Kat tells Commander Cruger that it took a lot of courage for Jack to stand up to him.  The alarms go off and there is a problem.  The Rangers are sent to another planet.  The Rangers search the planet and soon find a crashed ship.  The Rangers are attacked by an alien.  They battle the alien and soon several Troobians are attacking them as well.  The Rangers manage to defeat the Troobians and captured the alien.  Monitoring the battle, Kat asks Commander Cruger if he still doubts Jack's loyalties and Commander Cruger tells Kat that he had never doubted Jack's loyalties.  On the planet, the Rangers break down the door of the space ship and are stunned when A Squad stumble out.  A Squad is taken to the command center.  Commander Cruger congratulates the B Squad and then dismisses them.  The cadets leave, except for Bridge who lingers behind.  Bridge takes another reading of the A Squad, and doesn't like the colors he gets from them.  The cadets return to the rec room, angry at how Commander Cruger has treated them and not happy about being back on zord cleanup duty.  Bridge tells his friends about something not being right about the A Squad, but the rest of the cadets figure there is nothing they can do about it.  Meanwhile in the command center, A Squad captures Commander Cruger for a meeting for Gruumm.
