Shadow, Part II

Commander Cruger has Boom find out what the spikes are and what damage they can cause. Commander Cruger also tells the Rangers that last bit of his past - that his wife, Aisynia, disappeared during the battle on Sirius. The Rangers tell him it was not his fault, and Commander Cruger tells them he knows that, but it doesn't stop the nightmares. Meanwhile Kat is being held by General Benaag. General Benaag attaches a silver belt to Kat that counts down and eventually destroy her. Commander Cruger sends the Rangers out to investigate and they go to Piggy's. Piggy's patrons scattered as the Rangers appeared. They question Piggy and he reluctant to tell them anything until they threaten to make Piggy's SPD's new handout. Piggy tells them of Emperor Gruumm appearance on Earth. The Rangers return to headquarters and give this information to Commander Cruger. Boom nervously presents the group with his findings - that it would be very dangerous to remove the spikes. Boom tells them a seventh spike would also cause a disaster. RIC returns to the control room badly damaged. RIC plays a hologram of General Benaag who challenges Commander Cruger to a battle or Kat is harm. A hologram of Kat is played and Kat warns Commander Cruger that it is a trap.
The Rangers want to rescue Kat. Commander Cruger tells them to prevent the seventh spike from being placed. Jack insists that he can rescue Kat and the rest of the Rangers can stop the giant robot. Commander Cruger tells Jack to not challenge his order and the Rangers quickly leave for their delta runners. Commander Cruger opens the metal case that Kat gave him and picks up his sword. The Rangers form their zord and begin battling the giant robot. Commander Cruger leaves headquarters and heads to a quarry to face down General Benaag. A truck arrives and inside is Kat - still captured. General Benaag appears and tells Commander Cruger he has to defeat 100 Krybots. Commander Cruger morphs into the Shadow Ranger and defeats all 100 Krybots. Meanwhile, the Rangers are battling the giant robot and after much difficulty defeat it. At the quarry, General Benaag reveals that the truck contains Kat. Commander Cruger has a difficult time against General Benaag but eventually uses one of General Benaag's blows to free Kat. The rest of the Rangers arrive and watch as Commander Cruger finds General Benaag guilty of destroying five planets, but not guilty of the disappearance of his wife. General Benaag is contained. Commander Cruger carries Kat away from the truck, followed by the rest of the Rangers. Scaring Piggy's customers once again, the Rangers, Kat, and Boom go to Piggy's to celebrate. Commander Cruger leads a toast to friendship.
