Jack, Sydney, Z and Bridge play a game of light ball. Sky does not participate, even when Syd asks him to join them. The alarms goes off and the Rangers are sent to battle another monster in a zord. Jack wants to take on the monster one way, while Sky insists they form the megazord immediately. Jack reluctantly tells the team to form the megazord and they battle the monster. During the battle, the monster vanishes and the Rangers have no choice but to head back to headquarters. Jack and Sky bicker on their way to meet with Kat. Kat, annoyed along with the rest of the Rangers, tells them to fight the enemy, not each other. Kat reveals new bikes for the Bridge and Jack, which makes Sky even more resentful. Commander Cruger walks in with grave news. Commander Cruger believes the Squad A Power Rangers have been eliminated.
Later, Kat walks by and notices Sky in his room, boxing. Kat asks him why he is not training for the other Rangers and Sky replies that he wasn't invited and doesn't care. Kat doesn't believe him. The alarm goes off, and the Rangers leave to stop a diamond heist. Bridge and Jack battle the Krybots and clear a path that enables Sky, Z, and Syd to reach the container of diamonds. There is a transportation device on top of the container and Sky tries to figure out how to disable it. Z asks the captured guards if they know how to disable it, and they replied they don't. Z unties them and tell the guards to run. Jack arrives and blasts the transportation device apart. Several more Krybots appeared and another battle breaks out - in the process the container of diamonds is blown apart and diamonds scattered everywhere. After the Krybots are defeated, the Rangers need to return to tell Commander Cruger what has happened. Sky feels someone should stay behind and protect the diamonds. Jack volunteers Sky for the job and when Sky doesn't want to, Jack orders him to. Syd tells Jack the job is too big for one person and Jack tells Syd she can help Sky guard the diamonds. Bridge, Z, and Jack leave for headquarters. Sky feels that Jack left him behind because he knows that Sky should have been the Red Ranger. Syd tells Sky that Jack had nothing to do with it. Syd asks Sky why he doesn't join them more, instead of being a loner. Syd begins to toss some diamonds at Sky and Sky tells her to stop. Syd refuses and Sky pours the water out of his water bottle onto Syd's head. Sky laughs and Syd tells him it looks good on him. Sky immediately goes back to being serious and puts up a force shield so that he doesn't have to listen to Syd. Back at headquarters, Bridge, Z, and Jack discuss what Emperor Gruumm wants with diamonds. Kat figures out it is for a energy source. The alarm goes off - another monster attack. The Rangers leave to battle the monster. Sky reports in to Jack and finds out there is a monster attack. Jack instructs Sky to stay with the diamonds, and send Syd for backup. Syd prepares to leave and is surprised that Sky is leaving as well. Sky and Syd join the rest of the Rangers. Jack is furious that Sky didn't stay with the diamonds, but Sky insists that they need him in battle. The Rangers defeat the monster, with Sky making the arrest. Afterwards, Commander Cruger gives Sky a dressing down for allowing his emotions to get the better of him. Sky returns to his room and Jack stops by. Jack asks Sky how it went and Sky replies that it was brutal and he has two weeks night patrol. Jack tells Sky that he had a feeling the Krybots would return and he wanted Sky there because Sky is their best fighter. Sky doesn't quite believe Jack. Jack understands that Sky doesn't quite trust him and asks if they can work together. Sky replies that bumping heads isn't working, so they might as well. Jack invites Sky to join them in a game of light ball. After a moment's hesitation, Sky decides to join them.
