Squad B Cadets give a training session to the Squad D cadets. Although Sky and his friends try to prepare the D Squad for the challenge ahead, Squad D is very confident that they can battle Krybots. Squad D's confidence ends when several Krybots appear and they end up getting beat. Only one cadet shows any potential and that is Sophie. Jack and Bridge are impressed with Sophie's skills. The simulation ends and Squad D is dismiss. Syd walks up to Sophie to tell her how well she has done and Bridge tells her that she might find herself promoted to C Squad soon. Sophie is thrilled. Later, Bridge takes Sophie to the command center and she is introduced to Kat and Commander Cruger. Sophie is the new computer intern. Sophie notes the difficult program Kat is putting together - a new defense for the Rangers. The alarm goes off and headquarters begins to shake. When the shaking stops, Commander Cruger send B Squad and Kat to investigate. Kat and the cadets discover a large hole. The cadets conclude that something very large was trying to dig their way in, but Kat believes that something very large climbed out.
Kat and the cadets return to headquarters. Kat is in the commander center with Commander Cruger trying to figure out what had cause the hole. Kat notices Sophie by the delta base defense systems computers and asks her what she is doing. Sophie tells Kat that she wanted to help and Kat tells her that the computer program is only for high level clearance. Later, in the eating area of the rec room, Sophie helps out Bridge who is having a difficult time getting his toast out of a machine. Bridge and Sophie sit at a table and Bridge asks her how things are going. Sophie is nervous about making a mistake and Bridge tells her not to worry - she is only human. This causes Sophie to look sad and Bridge decides he can help by reading her aura. Sophie abruptly decides she has to go and leaves a bewildered Bridge. Meanwhile, Kat is in her lab with Commander Cruger. Kat has done an analysis of some of the samples of the hole and believes it is Goradon - part robot, part monster - who had escape the hole. Commander Cruger gives Kat instructions to put headquarters on alert. Sophie is just outside and overhears the conversation. Later, Sophie enters the command center when it is empty and begins working on the defense systems computers. Sophie becomes alarm when she hears Kat's voice asking if anyone is there. Sophie hides when Kat enters the command center. Kat walks straight to the computers and starts checking things out. Sophie manages to slip out of the command center without Kat noticing. Later, Kat tells Commander Cruger that someone had managed to enter the defense systems computers, but her arrival prevented anyone from doing any damage. Commander Cruger asks if there were any fingerprints and Kat tells him there is none. Meanwhile, Squad B cadets take the Squad D cadets out to the streets for more training. The training turns into real action when Valko appears. Squad B cadets suit up to Power Rangers. During the battle, Sophie hurts her arm. The Green Ranger gets Sophie and the rest of the cadets safely inside headquarters. Valko starts firing on the base. Commander Cruger orders the new defense system into action, although Kat is hesitant. The base separates and becomes the Delta Command Crawler and fires at the surprised Valko. The runners are sent to the Rangers. Green Rangers joins the rest of the Rangers in their runners and they form the megazord as a robot, piloted by a Bluehead, appear. The megazord battles the giant robot and eventually destroy it. Valko has retreated. The cadets return to headquarters and walk in on Sophie who is repairing her own arm. The cadets are stunned as they realized that Sophie is a cyborg. Sophie tells them that she didn't say anything because she was afraid of being expelled. The cadets don't feel that they can trust Sophie. Sky brings up the fact that the computer had been hacked into. Sophie confesses that she was the one to hack into the computer, but she was only trying to help. Sophie asks Bridge to back her up, but Bridge doesn't know what to believe. The cadets expel Sophie and she gets up and leaves the room. Sophie wanders around in the city and stops to lean against a wall. Sophie's arm is still bothering her, but she has even more problems when Valko appears.
