COMMANDER CRUGER
Commander Anubis "Doggie" Cruger - The Shadow Ranger
Commander Cruger is in charge of S.P.D. He was aware of Emperor Gruumm's heading towards Earth, before the information was even given to him. Commander Cruger oversees Squad A and Squad B Power Rangers. He sent Squad A Power Rangers off and told them how important their mission was. Commander Cruger was not very impressed with Squad B Power Rangers, Sydney, Sky, and Bridge. He didn't see them as a team, but he put the cadets on active service and sent them to capture street thieves. The cadets returned unsuccessful. Commander Cruger lectured the three and told them that they would be seeing the cadets again. Commander Cruger asked Sky to accompany him out of the room. Outside the room, Commander Cruger asked Sky why he wanted to be the Red Ranger. Sky replied how he had top marks in every area and that his father had been a Red Ranger. Commander Cruger told Sky that his father had been the best of the best of Power Rangers and if Sky was like his father, they would indeed be fortunate. Sky began to walk away, but Commander Cruger stopped him. Commander Cruger asked Sky if he would follow Sydney into battle, if she was the Red Ranger. Sky laughed and replied that Sydney was a girl. Commander Cruger then asked Sky if he would follow Bridge, and Sky replied that he liked Bridge, but Bridge wasn't leader material. Commander Cruger thanked Sky for his honesty and Sky left. Later, Commander Cruger called the cadets into a meeting. Commander Cruger promoted the cadets to Squad B Power Rangers and sent them after the street thieves again. Later, Commander Cruger arrived in a jeep as Sky was attempting to arrest the two thieves (Jack and Z) and told Sky to stand down. The thieves were taken to headquarters and placed in a cell. Commander Cruger entered the cell and offered the two an opportunity to become Power Rangers. Z accepted, while Jack refused. Commander Cruger took Z to the training field and introduced Elizabeth to the group. Despite Sky's protests, Commander Cruger made it clear that Z was part of their team. A meeting was held later where Commander Cruger informed the group that they had been fighting Krybots and a Bluehead. He questioned Z as to anything that Jack and Z might have stolen that Emperor Gruumm might be looking for. Z replied that everything they acquired had been given to the poor. The alarms went off and Commander Cruger sent Squad A to take care of the problem, while Squad B was sent to street cleaning assignment. Commander Cruger monitored the situation at headquarters. The Squad B Power Rangers had morphed and were having difficulty battling the several Krybots and were asking for help. Because the Rangers had moved so far from their original location, Commander Cruger could not send them any help. Jack had overheard and seen what was happening. Commander Cruger made Jack the Red Ranger and Jack left to help the Rangers. The Rangers were successful in defeating the Krybots, but a huge robot appeared. Commander Cruger commanded the team to stand down as Squad A Power Rangers took over. After the battle, Commander Cruger had the Squad B Rangers assembled. He told them they had done a good job working together, but they had disobeyed a direct order and now Emperor Gruumm had the proton accelerator and unlimited access to the universe. Commander Cruger told the Rangers that one day they may be fine Power Rangers, but today was not that day. He dismiss all of them except Z and Jack. Commander Cruger told Z and Jack that he was glad they were fitting in so well, but they still had to pay for their crimes of stealing. Commander Cruger gave them the task of washing all the windows at S.P.D. headquarters.
The alarms were going off at headquarters. Commander Cruger called the Squad B Rangers into a meeting. He told Sydney, Z, Bridge, and Sky that Emperor Gruumm's forces had attacked their federation at the Helix Nebula. Commander Cruger told them that he had sent Squad A to the defense. Z asked who was going to protect Earth and Commander Cruger told them that they were. Zack sleepily walked into the meeting. Commander Cruger told Jack that he was really going to have to be the leader and asked him if he was up to the challenge. Jack replied that he was. Commander Cruger dismissed the cadets. Later, as Commander Cruger was walking, he paused at a doorway. He noticed Jack reading a comic book. Commander Cruger walked into the room and told Jack that if he wasn't mistaken he thought there were training drills for Squad B. Jack told Commander Cruger that he had sent the Rangers to the mud/swamp training course to toughen them up. Commander Cruger commented that it was a tough training course and asked Jack if he was toughening up by reading a comic book. Jack told Commander Cruger that he had made the executive decision that he needed a little me time. A cadet walked in with Jack's laundry. Commander Cruger commented that Jack had realized the benefits of being a leader. Another cadet came in with a tray of food. Jack commented that it was tough being a leader and Commander Cruger could only growl at him. Later, Commander Cruger called the Rangers in for another meeting. He told them that he was giving them zords. Commander Cruger asked the team if they accepted Jack as their leader and if they had any reservations to speak now. Sky raised his hand, but before he could say anything Jack replied that Sky was just jealous because he wanted to be the Red Ranger. Commander Cruger watched as Syd, Z, and Bridge all backed up Sky. Commander Cruger announced that the team had spoken and asked Jack for his morpher. He sent the Rangers off to battle the monster and watched on the viewing screen. The Rangers were not doing well and Jack complained. Commander Cruger commented that without a leader, they were not doing well. Jack replied that he was their leader. Commander Cruger asked Jack if he earned the respect of the team and Jack replied that no, he had taken advantage of his position. Jack told Commander Cruger he meant no offensive, but he belonged out with the team. Commander Cruger sent Jack on his way and gave him back his morpher. After the Rangers arrested the monster, Commander Cruger held another meeting. He asked Syd, Z, Bridge, and Sky if they wanted Jack back as their leader. Syd, Z, and Bridge all replied that they did. Commander Cruger noticed that Sky had not spoken and asked him how he felt.
Commander Cruger sent the Rangers to stop a monster from attacking the city. The monster disappeared before the Rangers could arrest it and they returned to headquarters. Later, Commander Cruger walked into a room where Kat had just been showing Bridge and Jack their new bikes. He told the group (Z, Syd, and Sky were there as well), he had something to show them. Commander Cruger played a hologram message that showed the A Squad Rangers in trouble. After the hologram ended, Commander Cruger told the group that they haven't heard from A Squad since and he feared that they had been eliminated. The alarm went off and Commander Cruger sent B Squad to stop Krybots from stealing a crate of diamonds. The Rangers managed to stop the Krybots and Z, Bridge, and Jack return to headquarters. Commander Cruger met with them and Kat as they tried to figure out what Emperor Gruumm wanted with diamonds. Kat told them that diamonds, properly converted, could mimic Killarian crystals. Commander Cruger realized that Gruumm wanted energy. An alarm went off and Commander Cruger sent the Rangers to battle the monster attacking the city. The Rangers were successful in arresting the monster this time. But the Krybots got the diamonds, because Sky had left his post. Commander Cruger gave Sky a dressing down and told him that when Sky allowed emotions to overcome his judgment, Sky gives the enemy an added advantage. He dismissed Sky after giving him two weeks night watch.
Commander Cruger called the Rangers into a meeting. He told them that several citizens had gone missing in the industrial district. Syd volunteered to search the area while the rest of the Rangers monitored for alien activity. RIC was there as well and RIC went over to Syd and began sniffing her leg. Syd became really angry when RIC then pee on her pant leg. Commander Cruger called RIC away and Syd asked Commander Cruger why they had RIC. Commander Cruger confided to the Rangers that RIC's technology was becoming obsolete and parts for him were no longer made. He also told them that RIC would be deactivated soon. Syd was the only one happy about this news, the rest of the Rangers were upset. Later, Commander Cruger walked by Kat and asked her how it was going. Kat was examining a sample of green slime that Syd had brought back from the industrial area. Commander Cruger was not surprised when Kat told him it contained traces of human DNA. Syd walked in and Commander Cruger told her job well done, for bringing back the sample. Syd told them she couldn't have done it without RIC (who had leaped in front of Syd and taken a fatal blow when she was battling Krybots) and asked how he was. Kat told her that the damage had been extensive. Commander Cruger told Syd that it was a difficult decision, but RIC had been deactivated. Syd walked out of the room upset. Some time later, Commander Cruger held another meeting with the Rangers. He told them that more citizens had gone missing and that it had reach a city wide crisis. Commander Cruger noticed that Cadet Carson was not in the meeting and asked where he was. Moments later, Bridge and Boom walked in and announced RIC Version 2.0. RIC walked into the room. Syd was excited. Bridge and Boom told everyone of all the upgrades they had made to RIC - such as a CD player, refrigerator, and projector. Commander Cruger told them he would make an amusing party toy, but was not SPD material. Boom corrected him. Bridge and Boom explained that they had also upgraded his weapons and tracking systems. Syd asked RIC to sniff a vial of the green slime and asked him if he find some more. Bridge warned Syd that they hadn't tested RIC yet. In his eagerness, RIC burst through the door to find the scent. The Rangers followed RIC. Eventually the Rangers, except Syd, returned. Bridge was convinced that RIC had failed. Z told him that RIC would still make a nice pet. RIC started to become agitated and burst through the repaired door again. Commander Cruger was not happy - he had just had the door fixed. The Rangers noticed the viewing screen which showed Syd battling a monster and having difficulties. They left to help her. Later, Commander Cruger had the Rangers and several cadets and SPD personnel gathered in the command center. Commander Cruger gave a small ceremony to commentate RIC for his recent success (Syd had discovered more green slime in the area RIC had indicated, the Rangers defeated the monster responsible, and the green slime reverted back to citizens). Syd commented that she missed the old RIC. Bridge and Boom told her that there was still some old RIC in the new version. Commander Cruger could confirm that as RIC had just pee on him.
Commander Cruger called the Rangers to the command center. He had a hologram of the A Squad Rangers. Commander Cruger told the Rangers that despite an all out search, there was still no word on A Squad's fate. Jack volunteered his team, and Commander Cruger appreciated it. He told them that they were need on Earth. Commander Cruger gave them their next assignment. He told the Rangers to be on the lookout for an intergalactic bank robber. Z was surprised that no photo or description was given. Syd asked Commander Cruger whether he was red or white, black or blue, furry or scaly, three arms or two. Bridge was impressed - it sounded like a verse out of his bath book. Commander Cruger called Bridge forward and Bridge hesitantly came forward. Commander Cruger asked Bridge if he really had a bath book. Bridge replied that he did and asked Commander Cruger if he had one. Commander Cruger growled at Bridge. The alarm went off and Commander Cruger sent the Rangers on their way. The Rangers returned and told Commander Cruger of the alien creature that had been terrorizing the city. A hologram of the alien was displayed and Z read the information - the alien was a Tri-Ridonian, T-Top for short, and his record was clean. All the Rangers, except Bridge, thought T-Top was their man. Bridge had gotten the aura off T-Top and he told them that T-Top was not evil. Commander Cruger told them that whether T-Top was the bank robber or not, T-Top could not go terrorizing the city. The alarm went off - a robbery was taking place at Colonial National Bank. Commander Cruger sent the Rangers on their way - his money was there. Later, the Rangers returned with more information for Commander Cruger. Jack told him about the beautiful witness, the cuts on the building, and how all evidence pointed to T-Top. Bridge insisted that T-Top was not the bank robber and asked Commander Cruger if he could run down some of his own ideas. Commander Cruger told him that he could and ask his friends if they would like to accompany Bridge. The Rangers all looked away. Commander Cruger asked Jack and Jack winced. Bridge noticed all this and volunteered himself and walk out. Jack asked Commander Cruger why he let Jack leave. Before Commander Cruger could reply, the alarm went off again and Syd, Z, Jack, and Sky were sent off. The Rangers would eventually discover that Bridge was correct - that T-Top was not the bank robber. The witness, a Fernovian, had been responsible. The Fernovian told the Rangers of her workings with Broodwing. The Rangers returned with the Fernovian arrested, and T-Top sent back to Tri-Ridonian for tearing up the city. Commander Cruger had a hologram of Broodwing on display. Z, Sky, and Syd were with him. Commander Cruger told them that Broodwing was an evil creature who care for nothing except money and would sell weapons, robots, or soldiers to the highest bidder. Sky had a terrible thought and voiced it - what if Broodwing hooked up with Gruumm. Commander Cruger had a feeling they already had.
Syd, Bridge, Jack, and Sky were reporting to Commander Cruger what had happened during their last battle. Commander Cruger was having a hard time believing that a building disappeared. He questioned them as there being no trace of the building or workers - did the workers become invisible. Jack muttered to Syd, under his breath, and dogs can talk. Commander Cruger growled at him before continuing. He asked them where Z was. Jack replied that he was not sure. Sky told Commander Cruger that he was sure, Z had left in the middle of a fight. Commander Cruger was surprised. The missing building was located and the Rangers were sent to investigate it. They later returned and reported back to Commander Cruger. Z and sky were arguing as they entered the commander center - Z was convinced a small young boy she had saw was involved in the missing building, Sky was skeptical. Commander Cruger told them that was enough and asked them what they knew. The Rangers replied that a giant robot attacked the city, a building disappears and reappears twenty miles away, the workers are gone, except for two who have been turned into dolls. Z also told them that the young boy was somehow involved in it. Z and Sky continued to argue over the boy. Z told them that the young boy had special powers like they did. Commander Cruger asked them what they should do. Z wanted to help the young boy. Sky did not, he corrected Z by telling her that they used their powers for good. Z replied that maybe the young boy didn't know the difference. The alarm went off and the Rangers were sent into battle. The Rangers were not successful and returned to headquarters with an update for Commander Cruger. The young boy was involved and his name was Sam. Bridge was trying to get a reading off a doll that Sam had been talking to. Bridge's reading revealed that Sam was at Gold's Junk Yard. Z asked Commander Cruger if she could look for Sam and Commander Cruger told her to take Jack with her. Z and Jack left as Kat and Boom walked in. Boom held the two dolls that were found in the building and began to play with them - to the amusement of Syd, Bridge, and Sky. Kat told Commander Cruger that it was vital to find a way to turn the dolls back to humans - their vital signs were not good and they may become dolls permanently.
Commander Cruger walked just as Z finished telling her friends about the time when she was twelve. Z had ran away from school - unable to endure her classmates' taunts anymore. A strange looking creature had come toward Z when a figure in the shadows fired a laser at the creature. The creature took off, tearing Z's necklace off. Z's necklace had fell to the ground and the cloaked figure had picked it up, but Z had been too frightened to ask for it. Jack had just asked Z if she ever found out who was the man in the shadows and Z replied no. Commander Cruger told them that the man in the shadows was a dog - him. Commander Cruger gave Z her necklace from childhood and Z was just as surprised as the rest of the Rangers. Commander Cruger told them that in the light of recent events, it was time to tell the Rangers of their shared history. Commander Cruger told them that their parents worked at SPD. Jack and Syd protested. Jack told Commander Cruger that his parents were missionaries, while Syd told him that her mom was a teacher. Commander Cruger told them that the information had been kept secret for their protection. Commander Cruger told them that their parents were pioneers whose goal was the same as their. Their parents, along with Kat, had worked on the technology that was now the SPD morphers. But due to certain unplanned events, their parents' genes were altered. Kat was not affected due to being an alien. At first the Rangers thought that Kat's parents had worked with their parents. Commander Cruger told them that Kat was older than she appeared - 147 years old. Z asked if this had anything to do with Sam and Commander Cruger told them that he was the last one. The Rangers immediately left to search for Sam. Commander Cruger kept a close eye on the situation with his viewing screen. He saw that Z and Sam were being pursued by Orangehead, Bugglesworth, and several Krybots. Commander Cruger contacted the rest of the Rangers and told them that Z needed their help. The Rangers eventually destroyed Orangehead, arrested Bugglesworth and all the dolls were reverted back to humans. Sam was accepted and began training at the academy.
Commander Cruger left SPD headquarters for an important galaxy meeting. He put Jack in charge. Two days later, Commander Cruger returned. He got off the shuttle and greeted the Rangers who had lined up and were waiting for him. The Rangers escorted Commander Cruger up the escalator. Commander Cruger knew of the breach in security and asked them how it happened. (An alien had been spotted in the engine room.) Jack, Z, Syd, and Bridge all offered Commander Cruger various examples of it could have happened. Sky told Commander Cruger it was his fault. Sky thought he knew Cadet Harrington, but he was wrong. Commander Cruger told Sky it was a serious violation, but there had been no apparent harm. Commander Cruger suddenly flew through the air and landed on the ground. He had been shot and was barely breathing. Z, Bridge, Jack, and Syd took Commander Cruger to the infirmary where Kat tended to his injury. Bridge, Jack, Syd, and Z wanted to know if Commander Cruger was going to make it. Kat replied that if he were human, he'd already be gone. Kat commented that Commander Cruger was a tough, old dog. Commander Cruger had overheard them. He growled and asked who Kat was calling an old dog. Kat, Jack, Syd, Z, and Bridge were very happy to see that Commander Cruger was going to be okay.
Commander Cruger was waiting in the command center with Kat for the Rangers to come in. Once the Rangers arrived, Commander Cruger had a hologram display of Sinuka. He told the group that Sinuka is a notorious villain. Commander Cruger had receive a report from KO-35 that Sinuka had broken free from one of their satellite prisons. Commander Cruger and Kat believed that Sinuka was headed towards Earth. Jack asked why. Kat explained that Sinuka is a brilliant scientist who was recruited by evil forces to make weapons. Sinuka's former lab partner, Dr. Rheas, lived her and they believed that Sinuka would come after her. Commander Cruger wanted surveillance done on Dr. Rheas' lab. He assigned Jack the task and told him he could pick one partner from the team. Jack chose Syd. Commander Cruger sent Z, Bridge, and Sky to the beach because of a strange reading he was getting from the area. The strange reading turned out to be Sinuka. The Rangers eventually arrested and contained Sinuka. A couple of days later, Commander Cruger attend Syd's surprise birthday party along with Jack, Z, Bridge, Sky, Kat, Boom, Dr. Rheas and several other friends. Sky was the only way still dressed in his uniform. Z commented to Sky that he had really dressed up. Sky started talking about being a Ranger and Z told him to lighten up - it was a party. Commander Cruger told Sky to have some fun.
Commander Cruger was asleep and reliving his worst nightmare - when Emperor Gruumm invaded his home planet. Scenes flashed throughout his nightmare - as vivid as ever. He could hear his name being called and then awoke with a start. Commander Cruger rubbed his head as he tried to put himself back in the present. He took a look at his sword and then turned around again. Commander Cruger felt a sympathetic hand on his shoulder - it was Kat. Kat simply stated "you have the dream again". Commander Cruger simply growled. Later, Commander Cruger walked into the control room. The Rangers were laughing. Commander Cruger angrily asked the Rangers if they were laughing at him. They told him they were not. Still angry, Commander Cruger reminded them that they were at SPD control room and he expected them to behave accordingly. Sky replied that they had not meant any disrespect. Commander Cruger told them that if they continued with their childish behavior, they could leave. Jack stood up - just as angry - and told Commander Cruger that he didn't care who he was, he had no right to speak to them like that. Commander Cruger stepped closer and remarked that Jack was standing up for the squad. Jack confirmed this. Commander Cruger told Jack that he was finally stepping up to his leadership responsibilities. Commander Cruger told Jack to lead his team out of here. Jack and the rest of the Rangers quickly left. Kat had been in the control room as well and was shocked by Commander Cruger's behavior. Commander Cruger told her to not say a word. Kat left and Commander Cruger hung his head. The following day, Commander Cruger, Kat, and the Rangers were all in the control room. It was quiet except for Bridge's sneeze. Kat called Commander Cruger over. Kat showed Commander Cruger the screen and told him how she had been doing a scan on energy levels in the city for the past twelve hours - everything looked normal. Kat told him that when she removed the gamma filer, there was a big energy reading. Commander Cruger thought the program was malfunctioning, but Kat doubt it as she had designed the program. Kat told Commander Cruger that whatever it was, it was big and dangerous. Commander Cruger turned around and the Rangers stepped back. Commander Cruger told the Rangers to investigate the co-ordinates. The Rangers left quickly. Commander Cruger commented to Kat that the Rangers were acting strangely and he wondered what the reason was. Kat told him he was the reason. Commander Cruger did not appreciate the comment and growled before leaving. Later, the Rangers returned with a small, silver, circular canister. The canister contained a hologram message from General Benaag. General Benaag told Commander Cruger that he hoped he enjoyed his last sunset, as he had cross several universes to find him and battle him. Commander Cruger told General Benaag that he had wasted his time, as he no longer battled. General Benaag promised to find a way to make Commander Cruger battle. The message ended. Sky asked him why he would not fight General Benaag. Jack thought it was a deception. Z and Syd both wanted to know who General Benaag was and how Commander Cruger knew him. Kat stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that the Rangers have the right to know the truth. Commander Cruger told them his story. Several years ago, Emperor Gruumm invaded his planet, Sirius. Sirius form an elite group of defenders - the first SPD. The SPD battled for months without sleep against the endless army of Troobians. While the SPD was busy battling the troops, General Benaag set giant robots on defenseless. Eventually they were overrun and defeated. Commander Cruger had been knocked out. When he awoke, he was alone and the last member of his squad. Commander Cruger felt he had failed his planet and his people. He vowed to never pick up his sword again. Stunned silence followed Commander Cruger's story. Later, headquarters began to shake. Commander Cruger asked Kat if it was an earthquake. Kat told him no, that it was energy tremors. Commander Cruger told the Rangers to suit up and they did. Commander Cruger and Kat watched the Rangers head off. Kat told Commander Cruger that he had sent a group of young, inexperienced heroes against an enemy that they do not know. Kat told Commander Cruger that he should be with them. Commander Cruger snapped at Kat, telling her that it was his business not to battle. Kat told him that when he told his story, he had left out a very important part. Commander Cruger told her it was no one's business, but his own. Kat, just as angry, called him a stubborn, old dog. Kat told them there could be no secrets among the team. Kat told Commander Cruger that she had made something for him and handed him a small metal case. Commander Cruger opened it and became even more angry. He told Kat that what she had done had bordered on subordinate and ordered her to leave. Commander Cruger continued to watch the Rangers. The giant robot they had been battling had left, but the robot had left several spikes throughout the city. Sky was about to pull one out, when Commander Cruger told him to stop and return to headquarters. Sky protested and Commander Cruger angrily told him it was an order. The Rangers returned to the control, but they were not happy. Sky told Commander Cruger that he could have removed the spikes. Commander Cruger told them that they did not know what the spikes were or what they could do. Jack felt that they should at least be patrolling the city. Commander Cruger told them that they did not know the enemy and had to wait. Commander Cruger could feel the tension and anger from the Rangers and started calling for Kat - wondering where she was. Boom entered the room worried. Boom told the group that Kat had not returned to her post and that she was not answering her communicator. RIC suddenly became alert and took off.
Commander Cruger told Boom that he wanted him to analyze the data from the robot and the spikes. Boom stammer that it was Kat's job. Angry, Commander Cruger yelled that Kat was not here and asked Boom if he could do the job. Boom was not sure, but he hurried off. Jack nervously told Commander Cruger that he may be out of line, but he felt that Commander Cruger was losing it. Commander Cruger told him he was losing it. Sky, Bridge, Syd, and Z all backed up Jack. Commander Cruger told them that he had not told them everything when he had talked about his past and that Kat had told him that there was no secrets on a team. Commander Cruger told them of the battle on Sirius and how he and his squad were battling the front lines, while General Benaag snuck in the back. Commander Cruger's wife, Aisynia, was captured and Commander Cruger couldn't save her. Commander Cruger finished his story by telling them that he never saw Aisynia again. Bridge, Syd, Z, Jack, and Sky all told him that he had been over run and had his squad to defend. Commander Cruger knew all this, but it didn't stop his nightmares. Commander Cruger sent the team out to investigate Kat's disappearance. Syd, Z, Jack, Bridge, and Sky returned with news that Emperor Gruumm had been on Earth. Boom entered the control room and made his presentation. Nervously, Boom told them that the spikes were proton spikes, harmless, unless pulled out with deactivating them first. Boom also told them that when a mega neutron spike in placed in the center it would cause sizmatic activity on the quasar three level. Commander Cruger knew that Emperor Gruumm had been on Earth to observe the destruction that was to take place. Jack wanted to give Emperor Gruumm some destruction of his own. RIC staggered into the room and played a hologram message from General Benaag. General Benaag told Commander Cruger that he had something of Cruger's and revealed that he had captured Kat. General Benaag still wanted to fight with Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger told General Benaag that he would pay for this. Kat warned that it was a trap. Commander Cruger became more angry when Emperor Gruumm appeared and promised that it would be a trap. When the message ended, Commander Cruger told the team it was time to go into action. Jack wanted him and Z to free Kat while the rest of the team stopped the robot from placing the seventh spike. Commander Cruger told Jack it was a good plan, but not the one they would employ. He wanted the whole team to stop the robot. Z, Syd, Bridge, Jack, and Sky protested leaving Kat with General Benaag. Jack suggested that his friends stop the robot while Jack freed Kat. Angry, Commander Cruger barked at them to not question his orders. The squad left in a hurry. As the Rangers entered their delta runners and formed the megazord, Commander Cruger walked towards the small, metal box Kat had given to him earlier. Commander Cruger opened the box and said a silent thanks to Kat. Commander Cruger walked to the area, General Benaag wanted them to battle. No one was there. Commander Cruger yelled that he was here and had brought no one. A semi arrived and soon General Benaag appeared, along with a hundred Krybots. General Benaag told him that before they could battle, he had to destroyed the hundred Krybots. It was not a problem as Commander Cruger morphed into the Shadow Ranger. After destroying the hundred Krybots, he went after General Benaag, but it was a tough battle. General Benaag blew out a hole in the side of the semi truck that revealed Kat captured in there. Shadow Ranger had a difficult time, but he was determined to win. General Benaag shot a powerful blow towards Shadow Ranger and he reflected it's power off his sword and towards the truck - releasing Kat. Shadow Ranger used all his might and defeated General Benaag. The rest of the Rangers appeared and soon realized that the Shadow Ranger was Commander Cruger. Shadow Ranger accused General Benaag of destroying five planets - guilty - and the disappearance of his wife - not guilty. Shadow Ranger was very surprised when General Benaag was found not guilty in the disappearance of his wife. General Benaag taunted Shadow Ranger, telling him that there was much he did not know. Shadow Ranger placed General Benaag in a containment card. He vowed to always fight against evil. Shadow Ranger went to the semi truck and carried Kat - telling her lets go home. The rest of the Rangers gathered around them and they all walked together. The following day, Commander Cruger, Kat, Boom, RIC, Syd, Sky, Z, Jack, and Bridge went to Piggy's to celebrate. Commander Cruger gave a toast to his comrades in arms and comrades in friendship. He gave a special toast to Kat - calling her a special friend and for calling him out. Commander Cruger and his friends took a sip of water and promptly spit it out. Piggy's fresh gutter water was not to their liking.
Commander Cruger met with the Squad B cadets in the simulation room. He wanted all five cadets to take him on. The cadets were not sure, but Commander Cruger was. He ordered them to suit up and he did as well. Shadow Ranger ordered a rooftop simulation. Shadow Ranger faced the five Rangers and thought this should be fun. Shadow Ranger blocked every one of the Rangers' moves. Red Ranger was in disbelief when Shadow Ranger blocked one of his moves. Shadow Ranger told Red Ranger that he saw that coming a mile away and that he would have to be quicker. Blue and Green Rangers tried but they also failed. Shadow Ranger asked them if that was all they had and they replied no sir. Pink and Yellow Rangers tried as well but they were unable to defeat Shadow Ranger. Shadow Ranger told them that they worked well as a team, but they had to train hard. The training session ended with the five Rangers unable to defeat Shadow Ranger. Later, Commander Cruger overheard the cadets talking about Shadow Ranger and how much easier things will be for them. The night the alarm went off and Kat sent the Rangers downtown. Kat and Commander Cruger watched the Rangers on screen as they battled Drakel. The Rangers had a difficult time and soon Red Ranger was asking for help from Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger was disappointed and angry at the Rangers and he turned off the communication between them and walked away. Later, the cadets returned and demanded to know why Commander Cruger did not help them. Commander Cruger told them that he was busy. He also told them that they had done fine before Shadow Ranger. Kat walked into the room - one of the cadets had contacted her. Sky gave her a devise and asked her what it was. Kat was concerned, but before she could replied, Commander Cruger told the cadets that they could not use Kat's assistance. He also told them that they could do this on their own and dismissed them. Alarmed, Kat asked Commander Cruger if he realized what had happened. In a gentler tone, Commander Cruger told Kat that would be all and dismiss her as well. Later, the Rangers were sent to the westside to battle a giant robot. Once again, Commander Cruger and Kat watched from the screen. Commander Cruger and Kat were also watching a battle between Baskin - a great warrior guarding the evil - and Drakel. Drakel managed to get the evil from Baskin and became more powerful. Commander Cruger told the Rangers that Drakel had the evil and had fled. The Rangers destroyed the robot, ejected from their megazord, and went after Drakel. It was another difficult battle, but the Rangers were confident that Shadow Ranger would appear to help them. Commander Cruger walked to the edge of a rooftop and looked down at the Rangers. He was angry at them and refused to help them, despite their pleas. Red Ranger broke away and asked Commander Cruger why he wouldn't help them. Commander Cruger told him that they didn't need it. He ordered them to finish the job and to trust him. The Rangers renewed their efforts and arrested and contained Drakel. Commander Cruger was pleased. Once captured, Drakel reverted to his normal powers and the evil was released. Green Ranger used a gripping stick to place the evil in a small case. Commander Cruger returned to headquarters. Soon the cadets entered the control room, they were still upset that Commander Cruger had not helped them and Bridge asked him where had Shadow Ranger been. Commander Cruger told them that Shadow Ranger had been listening and he had overheard their conversation about taking it easy. Commander Cruger continued to tell them that ever since the arrival of Shadow Ranger, they had lowered their guard and relied solely on him. In order to defeat Gruumm we need to battle with one hundred percent commitment. No one Ranger is more important than another. Commander Cruger concluded by telling them he didn't come to their aid because they didn't need it, they just didn't know it. Jack acknowledge that they had taken advantage of the situation and apologized. Commander Cruger told them he was glad because he was tired of seeing their morphers getting kicked all over the city. Commander Cruger began to laugh and soon the cadets joined in.
Commander Cruger was in the command center when Bridge walked in with the new computer intern, Sophie. Bridge introduced Sophie to Kat and Commander Cruger. Sophie was thrilled to be meeting them and told Commander Cruger it had always been a dream of hers to serve at SPD. Commander Cruger told Sophie from what he had heard, she was off to a good start. The building began to shake and the alarms went off. When the shaking stopped, Commander Cruger asked Kat what had caused it. Kat told Commander Cruger it was an unidentified source at sector 17. Commander Cruger sent Kat, Bridge, and the rest of the Squad B cadets to investigate. Later, they returned. Commander Cruger asked Kat if she had any ideas what had come out of the hole that had caused the shaking. Unfortunately, Kat had no answers. Later, Commander Cruger entered Kat's lab. Kat told him that she had bad news. The samples Kat had gathered at the hole were from an alloy that came from only one source. Commander Cruger quickly concluded that it was Goradon. Kat told him that Goradon had been dormant for years, but that was no longer the case. Commander Cruger told Kat to put the base on alert status level three. He asked her if the new defensive system was ready. Kat told him that some of it was done, but she still had weeks of work on it. Commander Cruger growled, not happy with the answer. The following day, Kat told Commander Cruger that someone had hacked into the computer system. Kat told him that no damage had been done, and she believed she had scared whoever it was away. Commander Cruger asked if there were any fingerprints or evidence at all. Kat replied that there had been none. Soon the base was under attack by a giant robot. Commander Cruger announced that they were under attack and told Kat to initial alert level five. As the base continued shake from the attacks, Commander Cruger ordered Kat to initiate the new defense system. Kat told him it wasn't ready yet. Angry, Commander Cruger barked that he wasn't going to sit while his base was under attack. Kat started the new defense system which separated the delta base and turned it into the Delta Command Crawler. Commander Cruger ordered Kat to fire the photon beams, which she did. The attack stopped as the Rangers had knocked down the giant robot attacking them.
Commander Cruger met with Kat in front of SPD headquarters. He didn't understand how something so enormous could escape without a trace. Kat told him that Goradon can burrow deeper than our scanners can detect. Kat continued that it's probably miles beneath the surface. Commander Cruger responded by telling Kat that he hate to think about what it can do under Gruumm's command. He continued by telling Kat that we've got to find it before he does. Kat murmured her agreement. Later, Commander Cruger walked towards the B Squad Ranger training the D Squad Rangers. He announced his arrival by speaking Rangers. All the cadets quickly stood at attention. Commander Cruger told them at ease. Commander Cruger immediately noticed that there was a cadet missing from D Squad. He questioned B Squad asking them if he was not mistaken wasn't there five new recruits yesterday. Jack told Commander Cruger that the mole who had hacked into the computer had been Sophie. Sky proudly stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that Sophie had posed a threat and she is a cyborg, so they had banished her. Commander Cruger was surprised that Sophie was a cyborg, but angry at the Rangers. He told them just because Sophie was a cyborg, did not make her a threat. Commander Cruger angrily told the B Squad cadets to find her and return her to SPD immediately. B Squad cadets took off running. Commander Cruger watched them go, commenting to himself that they had much to learn. Commander Cruger went into the command center to try and help Kat get phase two online. Commander Cruger did not have much patience with the tedious work and Kat told him that it takes time. The ground and base began to shake and Commander Cruger feared that time was something they did not have. Later, the city was under attack by Goradon and Kat did not have phase two ready yet. Kat asked Commander Cruger what they should do. Commander Cruger told her to contact the Rangers and have them battle Goradon. As the Rangers battle, Commander Cruger heard a high pitch cry for help by Sophie. He thought Sophie was clever for figuring out he could hear high frequencies pitches. Commander Cruger started to leave the command center. Kat asked him where he was going and Commander Cruger told her he was going to fight. Commander Cruger quickly found Valko and Sophie. He grabbed a hold of Valko and told him it wasn't nice to hurt people. Valko sneered and replied that Sophie was merely a cyborg. Angry, Commander Cruger told Valko that he was just a criminal. Commander Cruger instructed Sophie to stay behind him and he suited up to Shadow Ranger. Shadow Ranger and Valko battle with Shadow Ranger used the containment strike to place Valko in a containment devise. Shadow Ranger walked over to Sophie and told her to come on, it wasn't over yet. Shadow Ranger and Sophie returned to headquarters. Kat had just freed the megazord from Goradon by transforming the base to the Delta Command Crawler and firing upon it. Shadow Ranger instructed the rest of the Rangers to return to base. They were surprised but they returned to the command center. B Squad cadets entered and Bridge was happy to see that Sophie was okay. Shadow Ranger told them this was not the time for teary reunions. He informed the group that they cannot defeat Goradon with our weapons and that phase two was not online. Sophie volunteered to help get phase two online. Kat was hesitant as Sophie could also harm them. Bridge knew this, but he trusted Sophie and wanted to give her this chance. Syd, Z, and Jack agreed. Shadow Ranger asked Sky his thoughts, as it had to be an unanimous decision. Sky told Sophie that apparently he was a monster too, so no more judgments and that Sophie was alright in his book. Shadow Rangers sent the B Squad cadets back to their Delta Squad Megazord. Kat and Sophie quickly got phase two online. The base was transform into the Delta Command Megazord. Shadow Ranger sat in the cockpit as the rest of the Rangers entered through the entry chutes. Shadow Ranger had the rest of the Rangers take their place and they soon battled and destroyed Goradon.
Commander Cruger was in the command center with Kat, Jack, and Sky. Kat told Doggie that they have a problem. The computer had pick up an anomaly in the local energy grid. Kat had never seen anything like it before. Commander Cruger, Jack, and Sky joined Kat at the computer. Jack commented that it's off the charts, it's massive. Commander Cruger instructed Landors and Tate to check it out. Later, Commander Cruger was walking down a corridor, he passed an older couple and told them good morning in passing. Later, Commander Cruger was back in the command center. Kat had announced that the Rangers were needed in the command center and Commander Cruger waited as Syd, Z, and Bridge entered. Commander Cruger told them that Jack and Sky had vanished off the grid and they hadn't been able to contact them. Commander Cruger wanted the three to search the last area Sky and Jack were at. Bridge told him not to worry, that they would find them. Commander Cruger waited in the command center with Kat until the cadets returned. Eventually the cadets did return and told Commander Cruger about their encounter with a Bluehead. The Bluehead had a laptop and Bridge felt that the laptop is a control unit for a relocator. Kat didn't think it was possible and Commander Cruger cautioned Kat that they were dealing with Gruumm. Commander Cruger questioned them about the fact that they had the laptop and then lost it to the Bluehead. Z, Bridge, and Syd started to sputter some explanations when Boom walked in and announced that it was his fault that the Bluehead got the laptop. Commander Cruger was stunned when Boom told him that he had pretended to be a Power Ranger to impress his parents. Commander Cruger asked him if he had anything else to say. Boom turned in his letter of resignation and Commander Cruger accepted it. Later, Commander Cruger walked into the lab for a status report. Kat, Syd, Z, and Bridge were working on Boom's analyzer to locate Jack and Sky. With Boom's help, they found them. Kat had devise a controller that could transport the person to where Sky and Jack were and bring them all back. Syd, Z, and Bridge all wanted to go. Commander Cruger refused to let them go, stating that they had already lost the A Squad and that the three of them were Earth's last defense. Boom volunteered to go and Commander Cruger told the group to suit Boom up. Commander Cruger waited in the lab with Kat, Syd, Z, and Bridge for Boom to return. Eventually Boom returned with Jack and Sky. Tamars started to emerge from the computer, but Boom quickly pulled the plug. Commander Cruger told them that he didn't think that they had seen the last of him. Sky, Z, Bridge, Jack, and Syd crowded around Boom to tell him what a good job he had done. Commander Cruger held up Boom's letter of resignation and told him that since he didn't sign the letter, he couldn't accept his letter of resignation. He tore Boom's letter in two while the rest of Boom's friends cheered.
The alarms had gone off at headquarters and the Rangers were battling a giant robot with their megazord. Commander Cruger and Kat were monitoring the battle. There was a hologram of a creature display. Commander Cruger recognized the creature as Wootox - a very dangerous criminal and now with a giant robot attacking the city. Wootox managed to get away from the Rangers and Blue Ranger called on Commander Cruger for help. Commander Cruger suited up. Shadow Ranger formed the Delta Command Megazord and went into battle. He stopped Wootox from escaping and destroyed the robot. The rest of the Rangers continued the battle on ground after Wootox had ejected. The Rangers captured and escorted Wootox to headquarters. Commander Cruger wanted to question Wootox. Sky escorted Wootox to a holding cell until the questioning. Later, Commander Cruger held a meeting with the B Squad cadets. He told them that they had permission to judge and confine Wootox. "Sky" wanted to immediately follow through. Bridge didn't know what the hurry was. Commander Cruger agreed with "Sky", stating that Wootox was dangerous. The alarms went off with the announcement that a criminal had escaped his cell. Commander Cruger announced that it was Wootox and the B Squad cadets immediately began searching for Wootox. Later, Commander Cruger was alerted by another alarm. He walked into the lab and found Kat on the floor. In the lab as well was an injured RIC and "Sky". Commander Cruger told "Sky" that he wasn't "Sky". "Sky" taunted Commander Cruger by telling him that he was clever and he must be the commander. "Sky" told Commander Cruger that he had switched bodies with "Sky". Commander Cruger knew that he was dealing with Wootox and told him that nobody messes with his Rangers. Commander Cruger suited up. Shadow Ranger and "Blue Ranger" battled. "Blue Ranger" taunted Shadow Ranger with the fact that if he destroyed him, he would destroyed his friend's body. The battle continued and Shadow Ranger was tossed over a railing. Later, Shadow Ranger and RIC stopped the Ranger from firing at "Wootox". He inform them that their bodies may have been switch. "Sky" told the group that they had changed back. Red Ranger came up with a solution. Red Ranger tossed a red ball out. RIC went to fetch it. Initially, RIC headed towards "Sky", but then he abruptly turned around and dropped the ball at "Wootox's" feet. The Rangers knew that the bodies were still switched. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers grabbed "Sky" and held him so that Sky and Wootox could change back. After they change back, Shadow Ranger told Sky that it was good to have him back. Sky told him that he was glad to be back. Sky suited up. The Rangers arrested and confine Wootox.
Shadow Ranger and Red Ranger were outside training. As they battle, Red Ranger asked Shadow Ranger if that is all you got. Shadow Ranger replied, honestly, no. But this isn't a battle, it's a lesson in swordsmanship. Red Ranger remarked don't hold back on my account, boss, you might be surprise. Shadow Ranger and Red Ranger continued training until Shadow Ranger had Red Ranger on the ground. Shadow Ranger chuckled as he offered to help Red Ranger to his feet. Shadow Ranger told Red Ranger, cadet, I think that will be all for today. Shadow Ranger walked away. Red Ranger wasn't ready to give up and ran towards Shadow Ranger with his sword raise. Shadow Ranger turned around and deflected the blow, breaking Red Ranger's sword in two. Shadow Ranger was angry and told Red Ranger I said that is all. Shadow Ranger and Red Ranger demorphed. They walked along together. Jack wanted Commander Cruger's shadow saber - convinced that if he had the shadow saber he could beat Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger told Jack that no, you couldn't. Even if I gave you my sword and took your broken sword, I would defeat you. Your arrogance is astounding, it is not the sword, it's the swordsman that wins the battle. Commander Cruger walked away, leaving a puzzled Jack. Later, at headquarters the alarms went off and the Rangers were summoned to the command center. Commander Cruger and Kat were already there at a computer screen when the B Squad cadets entered. There had been a large amount of energy and Commander Cruger felt a time portal was being opened up, most likely by Emperor Gruumm. The computer screen showed an alien stepping out of the portal. Commander Cruger was concern and told the group that Gruumm had taken a most powerful warrior from the past. Commander Cruger cautioned the group the Katana was a skilled Samurai. Jack felt this was the perfect opportunity to use the shadow saber. Commander Cruger stated that it was not his weapon and that he didn't knew the shadow saber. Commander Cruger had the cadet transported to Kyoto, Japan. Later, Sky would contact Commander Cruger and tell him of a giant robot attacking Kyoto. Commander Cruger and Kat immediately began working on helping them. Kat told Commander Cruger that she could have the base in Kyoto in fifteen minutes. Kat was concern that they would be leaving Newtech City defenseless. Commander Cruger told Kat that they couldn't let Gruumm get a foot hold anywhere. Within fifteen minutes, the Delta Command Crawler arrived in Kyoto. Commander Cruger sent the Rangers their delta runners to battle the robot. It was soon apparent that the delta runners could not do the job. Shadow Ranger called back the Rangers to base - stating that they needed more power. The Rangers returned and the Delta Command Megazord was formed. The Rangers battled the robot again. Kat contacted them, telling them that the robot was piloted by a Bluehead. Shadow Ranger was stunned and Red Ranger immediately knew something wasn't right. Shadow Ranger stopped Red Ranger from leaving and told him that he had walked into Gruumm's trap. Shadow Ranger wanted Red Ranger to find Katana, to find out what Gruumm's plans were. Red Ranger pleaded for the shadow saber and Shadow Ranger reluctantly gave it to him. Red Ranger left to find Katana. The rest of the Rangers continued their battle with the robot. Kat contacted them and told them that if they aim for the blue orbs on the robot, they would be able to release the buildings the robot had taken unharmed. The Rangers did so and the buildings were returned to their original locations. Eventually the Rangers destroyed the robot. Jack located Katana, found him not guilty, and helped him return to his own time, through the time portal. The base and staff returned to Newtech City. Commander Cruger held a meeting in the command center. He told them that although they had victory, they also suffered a loss. Taking the base to Kyoto, had left Newtech defenseless. Gruumm took advantage of the situation and had several Krybots steal large containers of Iridium. Bridge asked if Iridium was the metal that made other metals stronger. Commander Cruger confirmed that it was. He told the group that they had to find out what Gruumm was up to. Later, Commander Cruger met with Jack outside. Jack was thrilled that he finally had the shadow saber. Commander Cruger told Jack that he had something to tell him, that the sword he held was not the shadow saber. Commander Cruger pulled out the shadow saber and told him this was. The sword in Jack's hands reverted to it's original form. Jack was outrage and asked Commander Cruger where he had gotten the sword. Commander Cruger told him he had found it in a closet. Jack was mad that Commander Cruger had him battle the most powerful Samurai in history with an ordinary sword. Commander Cruger pointed out that Jack had won and that it's truly the swordsman, not the sword. Commander Cruger suited up and asked Jack if he was ready for another training session. Jack suited up and they began to battle.
Commander Cruger was reliving the battle of Sirius. He spoke out aloud and knew Emperor Gruumm was listening. Commander Cruger stated at the battle of Sirius, you took everything from me. He raised his shadow saber and morphed into the Shadow Ranger. He continued, but not this time, I am waiting Gruumm. Later, all of the staff at SPD were preparing themselves from the arrival of Supreme Commander Fowler Birdy. Commander Cruger and Kat walked alongside each other. Commander Cruger asked Kat why is Commander Birdy coming here? That overstuffed pelican and I don't get along. Kat replied that he's not a pelican. He's a Supreme Commanding officer and you get along with him just fine. Commander Cruger walked on. He greeted Supreme Commander Birdy as he stepped off the transport. Supreme Commander Birdy was not impressed with Commander Cruger's Rangers and told him that he was expecting more. Supreme Commander Birdy asked to be taken to the command center. Commander Cruger and Kat took Supreme Commander Birdy to the command center. Supreme Commander Birdy was impressed with the high-tech equipment. Commander Cruger told him that he had no complaints and all the credit should go to Dr. Manx. Supreme Commander Birdy suggested that maybe Dr. Manx should work for the Supreme Commander. Kat immediately told him that she was quite happy where she was at. The alarm went off and Kat sent the Rangers to battle a giant robot that had entered the city. Commander Cruger, Kat, and Supreme Commander Birdy monitored the battle from one of the computer screens. Supreme Commander Birdy was full of criticism during the Rangers' battle. Commander Cruger told him that he had to be patient, that there were procedures to be follow. Striking a low blow, Supreme Commander Birdy suggested like the patience Commander Cruger had shown on Sirius. Commander Cruger did not appreciate the comment and told Supreme Commander Birdy so. The Rangers destroyed the giant robot, but Supreme Commander Birdy was still not happy. Supreme Commander Birdy felt that the robot should have never been able to enter the city and that the team should be split up. Commander Cruger disagree, telling Supreme Commander Birdy that Gruumm would pick off the Rangers one by one if they were split up. Supreme Commander Birdy snapped back that this was not a conversation, it was an order. Commander Cruger refused the order and was subsequently dismissed. Commander Cruger walked with Supreme Commander Birdy to the boarding platform. All of SPD was gathered once more. Jack stepped forward and stated that from all of SPD, he hoped he had a pleasant stay. Supreme Commander Birdy thank "Sky". Jack corrected him, by telling him his name was Jack. Supreme Commander Birdy could care less and told them that Commander Cruger had an announcement. Commander Cruger praised the Rangers and the staff of SPD, telling them it has been his privilege to work with them. He then told them that he had been dismissed of his duties and that they were to take all orders from Supreme Commander Birdy. Commander Cruger lowered his head in exasperation as Supreme Commander Birdy looked smugly on. Later, Commander Cruger was sitting at the base of a tree when Jack approached him. Jack told him that he had been in a battle with Gruumm and Gruumm had a message for Cruger - that he was waiting to battle him. Commander Cruger asked Jack if Supreme Commander Birdy knew of the message and Jack replied no, that the message was for their commander and then saluted him. Commander Cruger growled and remembered the battle where he had broke off a piece of Gruumm's horn. Commander Cruger entered the command center and saw Kat working. He questioned Kat as to whether things were going well. Kat told him that Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger was doing well, but that Supreme Commander Birdy was not. Commander Cruger barked that Supreme Commander Birdy was a fool. Kat told Commander Cruger that she had something for him. Commander Cruger knew where Kat was going and told her so. Kat remain firmed and told Commander Cruger to follow her. Kat walked out and Commander Cruger reluctantly follow her. Kat revealed the ATV she had design for Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger suited up and headed for the stadium where Gruumm was battling Supreme Commander Birdy. Shadow Ranger began firing right away and stopped Gruumm from dealing a fatal blow to Supreme Commander Birdy. Gruumm was pleased to finally being able to battle Shadow Ranger again. Shadow Ranger and Gruumm fought with Shadow Ranger getting the upper hand. Gruumm finally admitted that Shadow Ranger had won this round, but promised it would be a long battle, with plenty of surprises. Shadow Ranger told Gruumm that he would not be surprised by anything Gruumm did. Gruumm shot a few more lasers at Shadow Ranger and Shadow Ranger deflected them all. When Shadow Ranger was done, Gruumm had vanished. Shadow Ranger vowed that Gruumm would never take Earth. He joined the rest of the Rangers on the sideline. Commander Cruger raised his shadow saber and lead a cheer for SPD. The rest of the Rangers joined in and Supreme Commander Birdy reluctantly did so as well. Later, Commander Cruger was at the transport platform with Supreme Commander Birdy and all of the SPD staff. Supreme Commander Birdy announced that he would be giving his highest recommendation when he returned. Commander Cruger escorted Supreme Commander Birdy and Supreme Commander Birdy told Commander Cruger that he would be staying out of the way of his best commander. Before Supreme Commander Birdy boarded, he told Commander Cruger that they were counting on him. Commander Cruger acknowledge the compliment. Supreme Commander Birdy left and Commander Cruger faced the grinning faces before him. He barked at them to wipe their foolish grins off their faces and questioned them as to whether they had some kind of training. The staff, except Kat, scattered. Commander Cruger, amused, stopped by Kat and told her it was good to be back. Kat replied that it was good to have him back. They both left, unaware of the white, shimmering ball of light behind them.
The alarm went off. Commander Cruger and Kat were in the command center. Commander Cruger barked Kat, report. Kat replied Sector G, Sir. It looks like the Krybots are at it again. The B Squad cadets came in and Jack told Commander Cruger, Rangers reporting, Sir. Commander Cruger told them, Rangers, Krybots have broken into the Gold Depository. You've got to stop them. The cadets suited up and left for the World Gold Depository. Commander Cruger and Kat stood by a computer. Commander Cruger stated satellite surveillance, Kat. Kat replied, I'm trying Sir, but I've lost transmission. Commander Cruger was concern and told her that it was very important to get the surveillance. The surveillance never came back up. The cadets returned to the command center with a job well done. Commander Cruger congratulate them and explained about the satellite problem. Kat left to work on the problem. Commander Cruger asked the cadets what had happened. They all answered at once. Commander Cruger suggested that they try one at a time and the cadets all replied again. Commander Cruger then suggested that Jack tell him what happened. Commander Cruger listened as Jack told him what had happened and how the Red Ranger saved the day. At the end of Jack's story, the rest of the cadets started to protest. Commander Cruger asked if anyone would like to add anything. Sky went next - his version having the Blue Ranger saved the day. Bridge went next and Commander Cruger had to bark at him when Bridge launched into a discussion about whether to have oatmeal or cheese avocado breakfast. Commander Cruger then listened to Z and then Syd's stories. All the stories contained the element that the Ranger telling the story had been the hero of the day. When they were done, Commander Cruger told them it was clear that it would never be clear what had happened. Kat entered and told them that the satellite transmission was fixed and she had repaired the video. The video played and Commander Cruger watched in silence - parts of the video showed a different story than the cadets had told him. The Rangers battling the Krybots and Green Eyes. The Rangers about to capture Green Eyes and then Green released several Krybots. The Krybots overpowering the Rangers until a sparkling white ball of light knocked the Krybots away. The Rangers forming the megazord and battling Green Eyes in a giant robot. The Rangers judging and containing Green Eyes. The video ended and Commander Cruger commented, interesting. Commander Cruger asked if anyone had anything to add. Jack wanted to know about the ball of light. Commander Cruger told him he didn't know what it was, but whatever it was, it was powerful. Commander Cruger would have Kat analyze the video. Commander Cruger added that current events, as viewed by it's participants, can be altered by a person's perspective. Jack agreed, but added that there had been a lot of exaggerations, not on his part, but the rest of the cadets. The cadets began to argue. Commander Cruger, in a low voice, told Kat let's go. Commander Cruger and Kat slowly backed out of the command center.
Boom, Syd, Z, Bridge, Jack, and Sky raced into the command center. Commander Cruger turned around and barked at them: "Cadets, I have told you before, this is not a place of play!" Boom replied, "not play, big trouble". Boom went on to explain. Boom told them how he had wondered where radio waves go after they are broadcast and logically came to the conclusion that they went to space. Boom built a radio receiver hoping to hear old broadcasts, instead he got a message from the future. Boom played the messaged that stated on 7/11/2040 it was the fifteen anniversary of when the Troobian forces took over Earth. The message continued that they had sent Omega, but hadn't heard anything yet. Jack was skeptical. Commander Cruger pointed out that according to the message today was the day that S.P.D. falls and did he really want to take that chance. Later, the alarm went off. Bridge, Jack, Sky, and Syd entered the command center. Commander Cruger told them that the message had been verified and the attack had begun. He asked them where Z was and Jack told him that Z had freaked out over the message. Z told him that he would attack her and he did. The cadets suited up and headed into battle. Commander Cruger and Kat monitored the battle in the command center. The Rangers were battling Shorty and then Morgana in a giant robot. Kat was concern and Commander Cruger told her that they were the best team he had every had. Kat pointed out that it might not be enough. Commander Cruger bow his head in acknowledgement. Within moments, Shadow Ranger appear on a rooftop building. He contacted the Rangers in their zord and told them to continue their battle with the robot, he would take care of Shorty. Shadow Ranger was very surprised when his Shadow Saber had no effect on Shorty. The battle was tougher than he had imagine. Eventually, Shadow Ranger was on the ground with the rest of the Rangers. They had Morgana and Shorty backing away. Earlier, Morgana had placed a signal device downtown and she had just found the activator. Morgana pressed the lever and fireworks explode in outer space. Shadow Ranger could tell that Yellow Ranger was greatly relieved. He told Yellow Ranger to proceed and Yellow Ranger used the judgment scanner and found both Morgana and Shorty guilty. Before the Rangers could contain them, they were stopped by Devastation. Another battle broke out. Shadow Ranger took on Devastation. Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Green Ranger battled Shorty. Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger battled Morgana. Eventually the Rangers were defeated and Morgana, Devastation, and Shorty left in triumph. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers returned to the command center. Commander Cruger told them that he had sent an urgent message to S.P.D. headquarters. Kat had information for them. Kat told them that Devastation was the most wanted criminal in the galaxy and Shorty, his brother was the second. Kat had no information on Morgana. Commander Cruger told them that Morgana was evil, powerful and with the imagination of a ten year old. He also told them that their zords had been badly damaged and it would take some time to repair. Supreme Commander Birdy appeared in a hologram and told them that S.P.D. had received their message. Regretfully Supreme Commander Birdy told them that they could no send any reinforcements because of the distance and they felt that depleting their forces would have them fall into Gruumm's hands. Supreme Commander Birdy told them that they were on their own before ending his message. Commander Cruger was frustrated. The alarm went off and Commander Cruger sent his cadets into battle. The Rangers were not doing well against Shorty who had gotten larger and Kat was unable to send them their zords. The battle was not going well for the Rangers.
Commander Cruger barked at Kat that the Rangers need our help. Let's get in on this. Kat went to work immediately on getting the Delta Command Megazord online. Kat announced: All cadets to the safety zone. Activating Delta Command Megazord. Commander Cruger went into action as well. He held out his morpher and yelled: S.P.D. Emergency! Shadow Ranger! Once Commander Cruger morphed into the Shadow Ranger, he entered the cockpit of the Delta Command Megazord. He sat down and stated: Delta Command Megazord. Command Bridge Online. The rest of the Rangers joined Shadow Ranger in the cockpit. Red Ranger stated: Rangers in position. Morphers locked. In unison, the Rangers stated: Delta Command Megazord ready and they went into battle. The battle with Shorty was not going well. Shorty was very quick. Blue Ranger told the group: Our base can't keep up with him. Yellow Ranger also told them: He's too fast. Red Ranger piped in and said: We're in big trouble. We need help. Within moments another zord appeared. The Rangers were surprised and didn't know who the zord belong to. With both zords battling, Shorty was contained in moments. The Rangers, except Shadow Ranger, ejected from the zord. Shadow Ranger headed back with the Delta Command Megazord, and it was soon reverted back to S.P.D.'s headquarters. Later, the cadets entered the command center where Commander Cruger, Kat, and Boom were. They told Commander Cruger about their encounter with the Omega Ranger. Kat had no information on the Omega Ranger and Commander Cruger pointed out that the Omega Ranger was mentioned in the message from the future. Bridge also noted that the Omega Ranger had demorphed into a shimmering white ball of light. Boom drew their attention to the monitors and show them that the shimmering ball of light had been with them for some time and Sky noted since Samurai's travel through the time portal. Omega Ranger appeared and told them that he had come from the future to save them. His body had been crystallized during the process. The cadets were thrilled to have another Ranger on the team, but Omega Ranger told them that their equipment was outdated and only he could defeat Morgana. The cadets were offended. The alarm went off and Commander Cruger asked the cadets what they wanted to do. They all agreed that if Omega Ranger wanted to take out Morgana and Devastation on his own, he was more than welcome. Omega Ranger left to battle. Commander Cruger and the rest watched his progress on the monitor. The cadets became smug when Omega Ranger began to have difficulties. Commander Cruger reminded the cadets that no Ranger leaves another Ranger in danger. Abashed, the cadets suited up and went to help Omega Ranger battle. Morgana had retreated, but eventually the Rangers contained Devastation. They all returned to the command center in triumph. Commander Cruger thanked Omega Ranger for his help. Kat told Omega Ranger that his vehicle would be stored in the bay and at the moment they had no way of sending Omega Ranger back. The cadets welcomed Omega Ranger to stay with them. Omega Ranger demorphed to the shimmering ball of light and noted that he didn't take much room. The cadets were ready to give Omega Ranger a tour, but Omega Ranger told them that he already knew the place, that he had lived here as a young boy. Omega Ranger told them that they knew him by his human name, Sam and then floated out of the room. The cadets were startled at first and then raced to catch up to Sam. Commander Cruger chuckled in amusement.
Commander Cruger walked through the doorway of the rec room. He called out: Sam! Sam morphed up to Omega Ranger and told the cadets: Later guys! Commander Cruger spoke to Omega Ranger and then called Sky over. He told Sky that he would be taking Sam and to find someone to cover his duties. Sky was a little upset, but Commander Cruger paid him no attention and walked away with Sam. The following day, Commander Cruger was in the command center with the cadets and Omega Ranger. He told them of the recent rash of robberies that had occurred. The alarm went off, there had been another robbery. Commander Cruger told Omega Ranger to go. Jack stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that they would all go. The cadets and Omega Ranger left. Later, they would return with an alien that they had captured, Al. Commander Cruger had Al placed in a secure room and told his cadets to interrogate him to find out who he is working with. Commander Cruger watched silently, along with Kat, as one by one the cadets tried to get information out of Al. Jack, Sky, Syd, and Z had in luck. It took Bridge with his endless questions and non-stop talking to break Al. Al told them that he had been working for Mysticon and Morgana. Kat suggested Gruumm was behind it and Commander Cruger agreed. The following day, in the command center, Z brought in a flyer advertising a charity show Mysticon was doing. Z told the rest of the cadets, Omega, Kat, and Commander Cruger that she had a bad feeling about it. Commander Cruger agreed and decided to send Sam undercover to investigate. Sky got upset and Commander Cruger asked him if he had problem with it and then turned to the other cadets and asked them as well. No one said a word. Later, Commander Cruger and Kat waited in the command center when Sam contacted them. Sam told them that Mysticon had pulled a Dr. Helen Tyler-Jones from the audience. Kat ran a check and it turned out that Dr. Tyler-Jones was a leading microbiologist. Commander Cruger told Kat Gruumm must want her to combine the items he had stolen for an evil plan. Commander Cruger contacted Sam and told him that he would send the rest of the Rangers. Sam told him that they were already here. Commander Cruger was stunned and yelled out what! The Rangers were soon in battle and eventually they released the captured Dr. Tyler-Jones. The battle escalated to zords, but even with two zords, the Rangers were having a difficult time. Kat told Commander Cruger that she had developed new technology that would enable the Rangers to combine the two zords, she hoped it would work. The Rangers combined the two zords to form the Delta Max Megazord and soon had Mysticon contained. Later, Commander Cruger lectured the cadets on what they had done. They confessed that they had been jealous over the amount of time Commander Cruger had been spending with Sam. Commander Cruger told them that he had simply been getting Sam adjusted to present time. Commander Cruger reminded them that they were his Rangers and his team. He told them to trust in themselves.
Commander Cruger walked into Kat's lab. Something landed at his feet and when he looked down he saw that it was RIC's head. Commander Cruger looked up and commented: Hmmmm. I see the battlizer is not quite finish. Kat responded: A temporary setback, sit. I'm sure we'll have it fully functional right away. Commander Cruger barked at Kat and Boom: See that you do! He left. Later, Commander Cruger was in the command center where his cadets were reporting in from their encounter with three previous contained criminals. Jack told the group: Maybe they busted out of their containment cards. Sky responded: Kat says those cards are fool proof and there's no chance of escape. Kat and Boom walked in. Kat showed the group the containment cards with the criminals still contain within. Commander Cruger commented that they didn't have the manpower to search for all previous criminals. He ordered the cadets to search the city grids for an activity. Later, Commander Cruger had Kat send for Sky. Sky entered the command center and Commander Cruger told him that he had a special assignment for him. Commander Cruger told Sky that he wanted him to interrogate a criminal called Mirloc - who had his hand in several dirty dealings. He wanted Sky to find out if Mirloc knew what was going on. Commander Cruger also warned Sky that Mirloc was very clever and to stay alert. Sky told Commander Cruger that he could count on him and left. Kat walked over, having just read the report on Mirloc, and noted to Commander Cruger that it said Mirloc was last...Commander Cruger did not let Kat finish her sentence. He told Kat that he knew. Kat asked him if Sky knew and Commander Cruger told her no. Kat told Commander Cruger that Sky had every right to know. Commander Cruger agreed, he just didn't think now was the time and he didn't want Kat to say any more on the subject. Later, Sky reported back to Commander Cruger the information that he had gotten from Mirloc. The criminal they were dealing with was Slate - a criminal capable of transforming into different identities by genetic codes, supplied by Broodwing. Commander Cruger congratulate Sky on a job well done. Bridge pointed everyone's attention to the monitor - Sinuku was in the city. The cadets knew what they were dealing with and left. Later, Shadow Ranger joined the Rangers in their battle. During the battle, prior to Shadow Ranger's appearance, Morgana had appeared with a gift for Slate from Gruumm - the ability to be several criminals at one time. The Rangers were battling six criminals and Morgana when Shadow Ranger appeared. Shadow Ranger tried to help the Rangers, but he soon found himself overwhelm as well. Kat contacted Red Ranger and told him now was the time for the battlizer. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers cheered from the sidelines as Red Ranger used battlizer mode 1 and then mode 2 to defeat and contain Slate. Morgana managed to get away.
Commander Cruger was in the command center. He told Syd, Z, Bridge, and Jack: I've issued an all points bulletin for Mirloc. Kat was there as well. Kat told the group: Unfortunately with his ability to transport through reflective surfaces, he is going to be very tough to find. Syd told everyone that Sky felt awful and she was sure that he was blaming himself. Commander Cruger told them that Mirloc playing on Sky's emotions was very underhanded. Z was surprised that Sky had any emotions. Sky angrily stormed in and asked Commander Cruger why he didn't tell him about Mirloc being responsible for his father's death. Commander Cruger told Sky that he didn't feel the time was right. Sky felt that he should be demoted to D Squad. Commander Cruger commented that was the team leader's decision. Jack angrily reminded Sky that he had told him that his father had fought to the bitter end and now he wanted to quite just because of one mistake. Sky composed himself and told them that they should split up and search for Mirloc. Sam floated in and told them that he wanted to help. The cadets split up into pairs and left to search for Mirloc. Commander Cruger and Kat kept an eye on things in the command center. After while, Kat told Commander Cruger that she had lost the signal on Z and Bridge. Commander Cruger contacted the rest of the cadets and asked them if there was anything suspicious. Sky told him that they hadn't seen anything and ended the contact. Moments later, Kat told Commander Cruger that Syd and Sky's signal had vanished as well. Commander Cruger was frustrated. He suited up to Shadow Ranger and headed out. Shadow Ranger prevented Mirloc from capturing Jack and Omega Ranger. Omega Ranger wanted to stay and fight. Shadow Ranger yelled at them to go back. They all returned to headquarters where Commander Cruger told Jack and Omega Ranger that the rest of the team had been captured by Mirloc. Jack wanted to immediately search for his friends, but Commander Cruger stopped him. He told Jack that they couldn't afford to lose him. Commander Cruger told Omega Ranger that he believed that Mirloc would have a hard time detecting him in his light form and sent him to search for Mirloc. Later, the alarm went off. A giant robot was attacking the city. Commander Cruger told Jack and Kat that they couldn't send out the runners without the rest of the Rangers. Jack didn't think that Sam would mind if he took his bike. Commander Cruger agreed and Jack suited up and left. Eventually Red Ranger and the zord would be captured. Omega Ranger would be the one to free them all by smashing Mirloc's mirrors. But it would be Sky who captured Mirloc using Jack's morpher and becoming the Red Ranger. Later, Commander Cruger walked into the command center where Sky, Syd, Z, Bridge, Jack, and Kat were. He told them that they had done a good job. Commander Cruger stumbled over his next words. He apologized to Sky for not giving him all the details. Commander Cruger told Sky that he was a fine Ranger and that he won't forget that again.
Commander Cruger was in Kat's lab with Kat. They were both watching and listening to a transmission. On the transmission, a person was saying: This is Gamma Four. Come In XQ. You gotta do something! Please help us! We need your help! They're not the...the transmission abruptly ends. Throughout the transmission, there were numerous explosions in the background. Kat asked: They're not the what? Commander Cruger replied: We have to be prepared for the worst. Are the new upgrades ready? Kat responded: Not yet. Commander Cruger growled. Defensively Kat told Commander Cruger: I'm doing the best I can. Commander Cruger told Kat: Double your efforts! Commander Cruger left and headed for the rec room. He entered and the cadets were all fighting. Commander Cruger barked: Enough! I can hear you from Kat's lab. Z was surprised that Commander Cruger could hear so far. Bridge attributed Commander Cruger's hearing to his doggy ears. Commander Cruger growled and the cadets became quiet. He told them that he had thought they would have settle their differences by now. This only launched a fresh set of bickering, to which Commander Cruger didn't know what to do. Later, Commander Cruger walked into Kat's lab. Kat told him: I'm going as fast I can. Commander Cruger responded: I didn't say anything. Commander Cruger asked Kat if she had noticed how the cadets were fighting. Kat sarcastically replied five teenagers asked to save the world and live in close quarters. Kat was surprised that they were still talking to each other. Suddenly the program Kat was working on began to smoke. Kat desperately hoped she hadn't fired the quantum enhancer and repeatly said so, as she went to check. Z walked in and asked Commander Cruger what was going on. Commander Cruger told Z that Kat had fired the quantum enhancer and then left, chuckling quietly. Later, the alarm went off and the Rangers were sent to battle a giant robot in the city. Commander Cruger and Kat watched on a monitor in Kat's lab. Commander Cruger didn't like the feel of the battle and thought it was suspicious. Commander Cruger asked the Rangers to bring in the criminal for questioning. Commander Cruger and Kat watched as the Rangers defeated the robot and captured the criminal. They heard a sneeze from behind them. Commander Cruger and Kat turned around to see an alien (Stench) stealing their technology. Kat ran forward to try and captured Stench, but Stench disappear before she could. Commander Cruger asked Kat what was stolen. Kat checked and told him the sizmatic for the S.W.A.T. technology. Later, Commander Cruger walked into the command center where the cadets were arguing. They became silent once he entered. Commander Cruger told them that the criminals were using their technology against them. Jack replied, great, just what they needed. Commander Cruger barked enough. He had had enough of their petty bickering. Commander Cruger told them of the attack on Gamma Four and concern that they were next. He showed them a hologram of the S.W.A.T. weapons. The cadets were excited, but Commander Cruger told them that the hologram was the closet that they would get to it. Jack asked about the attack. Commander Cruger told them that until they could accept each other as Rangers and as a person, they would not be able to defeat Gruumm. Jack told him that they would do better. Commander Cruger told them that they better as he was sending them to another planet to meet a friend of his. The following day, Commander Cruger walked into Kat's lab. Kat was watching the transmission once again. Kat had been unable to get the message out of her head. Commander Cruger was also concerned as to who "they" were.
Commander Cruger was in the command center with Kat. He was watching a monitor that showed Stench and Tresher in their armor robbing various places. Commander Cruger was very frustrated at not being able to stop the criminals. Kat told Commander Cruger that she felt it was all her fault, that she should never have trusted Piggy. Commander Cruger couldn't dispute her, but he had never known her to feel sorry for herself. Kat replied that she had never mess up so bad. Commander Cruger was confident that Kat would come up with a solution and told her that he only knew that the problem couldn't be resolve in the command center. Kat understood and left to begin working. Later, Commander Cruger was in Kat's lab with Kat when Omega Ranger reported in. Omega Ranger had tried to arrest Stench and Tresher, but instead Omega Ranger had been defeated. Commander Cruger told Omega Ranger that it was good that he had retreated, as they were currently being overpowered. Omega Ranger vowed that it was far from over. Later, Commander Cruger was back in the command center. Kat contacted him and told him that she had just got an energy signal from the bracelets. Commander Cruger walked over to Omega Ranger and told him that it was up to them. Commander Cruger suited up to Shadow Ranger and left with Omega Ranger. They soon encountered Stench in his armor. Stench was very confident that he could take on the two Rangers. Shadow Ranger and Omega Ranger battled Stench and much to their dismay, they were captured. They were taken to the top of a building and place in a containment chamber. Shadow Ranger tried, but he could not escape. Tresher gloated in front of them, of having the two Rangers captive. Commander Cruger suggested to Omega Ranger that he power down to his energy light form, but Omega Ranger told him that containment chamber was forcing him to stay in Ranger form. Later, Red Ranger burst into the room. Shadow Ranger and Omega Ranger were very happy to see him. Eventually the rest of the Rangers arrived as well. Yellow Ranger freed Shadow Ranger and Omega Ranger. Shadow Ranger thanked Yellow Ranger and told her she had done well. The Rangers, in their new S.W.A.T. mode, captured and contained Stench and Tresher. Later, Commander Cruger and Kat entered the rec room. The cadets were having a good and Commander Cruger told them that he was glad to see them getting along. Sky replied that he was glad that they had pulled it together, he believed that the battle for Earth had just begun.
Commander Cruger and Kat walked into the command center. Commander Cruger cleared his throat. Immediately the cadets, who had been sitting down, stood up and at attention. All except Bridge, who was asleep slouched over the console. Commander Cruger walked up to Bridge and softly said Bridge's name. Bridge sleepily responded by asking Sky for five more minutes. Commander Cruger, still in a soft voice, told Bridge it was okay, he could take all the time he needed. Bridge said thanks. Commander Cruger then barked loudly at Bridge to wake up. Bridge jerkily woke up and stumbled to his feet. Commander Cruger hollered at him, asking him if he thought the command center was a place to take a nap. Bridge told him no. Commander Cruger then asked Bridge if fighting two robots was too much for him. Bridge responded no, but five are. Commander Cruger was puzzled. He asked Bridge how was it that the rest of the cadets had fought two robots, while he had fought five. Bridge told him dream fighting. Bridge then went on to describe the three robots in his dream. Commander Cruger replied with an I see. Before he could say anymore, Kat stepped forward. Kat told them that she had received a report about three robots, matching Bridge's description, that had just destroyed the Alpha 5 star system. Commander Cruger took Bridge's premonition dream more seriously while Bridge looked pleased to have been proven right. Commander Cruger told the cadets that Gruumm was launching an all out assault and that they should get some rest while they can. The cadets started to head out when the alarm went off. The cadets groaned and Commander Cruger reminded them that they were Rangers. The cadets suited up and headed up. Kat hoped that the cadets would be okay and Commander Cruger replied that they have to be, that they were all that they had. Later, Sky entered the command center. Sky told Commander Cruger that Bridge had just left and he believed that Bridge had another dream. Commander Cruger wanted all the Rangers brought to him. He told Sky that it was a dangerous time for one Ranger to be on his own. Later, after the Rangers defeated six robots in one day, Kat commented to Commander Cruger, in the command center, that it had been quite a day. Commander Cruger told Kat that Gruumm will not stop until he has what he wants. He told Kat that they cannot let that happen.
Commander Cruger walked into Kat's lab where Kat and Boom were working. He asked: How's it coming along Miss Manx? Kat replied: Fine Commander. Right on schedule. The monitor beeped and Supreme Commander Birdy appeared on the screen. Commander Cruger greeted: Commander Birdy. Kat said: Hello sir. Supreme Commander Birdy acknowledge each one: Cruger, Dr. Manx, Bang. Boom replied: Boom. Commander Cruger hoped everything was okay. Supreme Commander Birdy assured him that it was. Supreme Commander Birdy had contacted them to offer Kat a position at headquarters. Kat was stunned. Later, Commander Cruger found Kat outside. Commander Cruger told Kat that Supreme Commander Birdy had wanted to know if she had come to a decision. Kat told him that she had, she was accepting the position. Kat left soon after. Commander Cruger and an upset Boom entered the command center. Commander Cruger told the cadets that Kat had accepted a position at headquarters and had already left. The cadets were surprised that Kat had already left. Commander Cruger explained that Kat didn't like goodbyes. Commander Cruger continued by telling them that Boom would be taking over Kat's duties and then left. Later, the Rangers were out in battle and Commander Cruger checked in with Boom to see how it was going. Boom told him that the Rangers were getting their butts kicked. Later, after the Rangers had been ejected from their zord, Commander Cruger contacted them and told them he was sending the S.W.A.T. flyers. He contacted Omega Ranger and told him to stand by for backup. Commander Cruger suited up to Shadow Ranger. Later, Shadow Ranger deflected a blow meant for Kat Ranger by Broodwing. Shadow Ranger knew that Kat Ranger was Kat and told her that it was good to see her. Omega Ranger joined them and asked Kat when she had become a Ranger. Kat Ranger told Omega that she would explain it later. Broodwing taunted them and pressed a button on a controller. The controller was for the robot the rest of the Rangers were battling and had just made the power source ready to explode. Broodwing had tossed the controller to them after he was done and unleashed several Krybots. Shadow Ranger told Kat Ranger to deactivate the code, while he and Omega Ranger took care of the Krybots. Kat Ranger carried the controller away with her. Shadow Ranger and Omega Ranger battled and defeated the Krybots. Later, Mooney tried to get away after Kat Ranger had deactivated the code and sent it directly to the robot. Omega Ranger had blocked Mooney's path. When Mooney went another way, Shadow Ranger blocked that path as well. Kat Ranger appeared and told them she would handle it. Kat Ranger found Mooney guilty and soon had him in a containment card. The rest of the Rangers appeared (after successfully destroying the robot) and were stunned to see Kat Ranger. Kat Ranger powered down and told them that the morpher was only for one hour. Kat told them that was probably the last they would see of Kat Ranger. Shadow Ranger told Kat that at least she was here when they needed her the most.
The Rangers and Omega Ranger were searching the city for Bork. Commander Cruger contacted them and told them: Rangers, be careful. Bork is a ruthless criminal. He left Alpha Senturion in ruins. He would have no problems with destroying Earth. Red Ranger told him: Thanks for the warning Commander. We're closing in on him now. Later, Blue Ranger contacted Commander Cruger and told him that there were still no signs of Bork. Commander Cruger told him to keep looking. Kat was with Commander Cruger and she told him that there were several life forms in the area. Commander Cruger contacted the Rangers and told them that there were several uninvited guests as well. Later, Jack and Sky entered the command center. Commander Cruger asked them to explain what had happened - Bridge was missing. Jack told him that it was all his fault, he had ordered the team to split up and search. Sky stepped forward and told him that it was his fault, he had made the suggestion. Commander Cruger told them that the suggestion and order were good ones. Kat told Commander Cruger that she still didn't have any signal from Bridge's morpher and she was worried. Commander Cruger told them that they were all worried, but they needed to take action. Commander Cruger told Jack to search for Bridge and to not return until he was found. Commander Cruger told Sky to gather the rest of the team and search for Bork. Later, after Bridge was found and Bork successfully contain, the cadets stood at attention in the command center. Omega Ranger joined the lineup. Kat looked on as Commander Cruger stopped in front of each cadet and Omega Ranger and paid them a compliment. He told them that they had come a long way, but the real test laid ahead.
Commander Cruger and Kat were in the command center. Kat commented that something strange was going on. Commander Cruger thought it might be Troobian energy readings. Kat told him no, it was Ranger energy readings spiking the morphing grid. The cadets walked in and Jack asked them what was going on. Kat told them about the alternate Ranger energy readings. At first the cadets were puzzled and then Sky came to the conclusion that it must be the A Squad, they had made it back. The cadets happily left to get the A Squad Rangers. Later, the cadets returned with Kira, Conner, and Ethan. Conner, Ethan, and Kira were a little thrown by the appearance of Commander Cruger and Kat. Commander Cruger welcomed them to their base and Kat told them that aliens and humans live peacefully on Earth. Sky told them most of the time and told Commander Cruger that Broodwing had been after them. Kat had a screen up that showed the Dino Rangers in action. Commander Cruger told Ethan, Conner, and Kira that Broodwing had gone to a lot of expense to bring them here, he was not about to give up so easily. Conner told him that they could take on anyone who got in their way. Z pointed out that they hadn't even met Gruumm, Broodwing's boss. Z told them that Gruumm was as nasty as they get. Kira told them to bring it on, they are Power Rangers. Sky corrected them by telling them that they were Power Rangers. Sky told them that the cadets had been trained to fight Gruumm. The alarm went off. Kat told them that there was a problem at the quarry. Commander Cruger felt sure it was a ploy to draw Conner, Kira, and Ethan out. Conner was ready to fight - Ranger or not. Commander Cruger refuse, telling them if they were destroyed the consequences would be devastating. The B Squad suited up and headed out. Commander Cruger, Kat, Conner, Kira, and Ethan watched the Power Rangers battled Dragoul and then hundreds of Krybots, Blueheads, and Orangeheads. Kira didn't think things were looking so good for the Rangers. Ethan, Conner, and Kira wanted to help. Commander Cruger told them this was not their fight and ordered them to stay at the base. He suited up to Shadow Ranger and headed out to the quarry. Shadow Ranger battled alongside the rest of the Rangers. It was a difficult battle made worse by the arrival of Gruumm and Morgana. Soon Commander Cruger and the rest of the Rangers were demorph. Kira, Conner, and Ethan arrived. Commander Cruger and the rest of the cadets hurried over. Z told Conner, Ethan, and Kira to get out of here. Sky pointed out that Gruumm had a lot of power. Conner told them that they had brought along some power as well. Conner, Ethan, and Kira displayed their dino morphers. Ethan told them that Kat had retrieved that morphers from the archives and regenerated them. Kira told Commander Cruger not to be mad at them, as he would have done the same thing. Commander Cruger agreed that he would have and then told them to show Gruumm what they can do. Commander Cruger and the rest of the Rangers suited up. Shadow Ranger used the S.W.A.T. vehicle to battle. When Gruumm landed on S.W.A.T. vehicle, Shadow Ranger told him to get off his truck before knocking him off. Eventually the Rangers gain on upper hand. Shadow Ranger told B Squad to help Omega Ranger - who was battling the Dragoul in the city. Shadow Ranger and the Dino Rangers continued their battle against the Krybots, Blueheads and Orangeheads. Shadow Ranger battled against Gruumm. Eventually the Shadow Ranger and the Dino Rangers destroyed the Blueheads, Orangeheads, Krybots and chased Gruumm away. The B Squad and Omega Ranger arrived. Shadow Ranger told them that both teams had displayed excellent teamwork. They all returned to the command center. Ethan, Kira, and Conner were reluctant to go, they wanted to stay and help them fight Gruumm and Broodwing. Commander Cruger appreciated their help, but he told them it wasn't possible. Syd told Kira that she had to get back to her recording career as she was to become a singing sensation. Sky told Conner that the McKnight Soccer Camps were all over the country. Bridge told Ethan that the software he develops is still used at S.P.D. Commander Cruger told them that after they hang up their helmets, they lead exciting and fulfilling lives. Conner told them that they were ready to go back. Kat told them that their memories of them would be erase, but that they would never forget them. Kat sent Conner, Ethan, and Kira back to 2005.
Commander Cruger was in the command center with Kat, discussing the meteor that was heading towards Earth when the cadets entered. The cadets had just finished battling another Dragoul, but the Dragoul managed to get away. Commander Cruger didn't pay them much attention as they gathered around. Bridge tugged on Kat's sleeve and pointed out that they were here to get yelled at. Commander Cruger barked at Bridge and told him now was not the time. He told the group that Kat had made a troubling discovery. A meteor's path had been altered and it was heading towards Earth and New Tech City could be in danger. Commander Cruger sent the cadets to see an expert - Professor Cerebros. Later, the cadets returned to the command center. It turned out that Professor Cerebros was really Kraw in disguise. Kraw had been the one to alter the meteor's path with a controller. The cadets had contained Kraw and brought the controller to the command center. Kat told them it was too late, the meteor's path could not be changed. The cadets protested that there had to be something they could do. Kat had an idea, but she was hesitant to share it. Commander Cruger lost his patience and told Kat that they didn't have a lot of options. Kat thought that a shot from the S.W.A.T. flyer cannon into the core of the meteor would destroy it. Kat emphasis that it was very dangerous with no guarantee of return. Jack and Sky stepped forward and at the same time they said, I'll do it. Commander Cruger glanced from one to the other as Sky and Jack faced each other and said at the same time, no, I'll do it. Jack argued that he was the better shot while Sky argued that he was the better pilot. Commander Cruger put a stop to it. Commander Cruger was proud of both of them for volunteering for a risky mission. He selected Sky for the mission because he was the more experience pilot. Dragoul was back. The cadets left for their various missions. Later, Commander Cruger hollered at Kat that Jack had stowaway on the S.W.A.T. megazord, the stubborn fool. Kat agreed, and asked Commander Cruger if he was really surprised. Commander Cruger confessed that he was not, Sky would have done the same thing. Kat told Commander Cruger that Jack and Sky were more alike than they care to admit. Later, the alarms were going off. The Rangers were having difficulty in their battle against Dragoul. Commander Cruger had Kat formed the Delta Command megazord as he suited up. Shadow Ranger, in his zord, entered the battle. The battle continued to be difficult against Dragoul. Blue Ranger arrived in his flyer. Blue Ranger told them that the mission had been successful, the meteor had been destroyed, but that Red Ranger did not make it. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were stunned. The battle continued and it remain difficult. Shadow Ranger told the Rangers not to give up, Jack would have wanted them to keep fighting. Red Ranger appeared in his flyer and agreed with them. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were shocked to see Red Ranger. Red Ranger told them how he got close to the core of the meteor and used his enforcer to destroy the meteor. The Rangers worked together with their zords and destroyed the Dragoul.
Commander Cruger was in the infirmary. Sky had been brought in, badly injured. Commander Cruger asked Kat: Any idea who might have done this? Kat: Not yet. Surveillance is running a trace. Commander Cruger glanced at where Sky's jacket hung and noticed that his badge was missing. Commander Cruger gasped and told Kat: His S.P.D. badge, it's gone. Kat: Why would someone take Sky's badge? Commander Cruger: At the academy, your badge is a symbol of honor. This is a message to all of S.P.D. No one is safe. Later, Commander Cruger was still keeping a watchful eye over Sky, and Syd and Bridge were now also in the infirmary. Commander Cruger spoke to himself: Hmmm, who did this? Kat walked in: Commander. Kat told Commander Cruger that she had the surveillance tape and it was up in the command center. They arrived at the command center and Commander Cruger was outrage when he saw it was Icthior behind the attacks, he should have known. Kat was surprised and asked him if he knew him. Commander Cruger told her that they were at the academy together. Icthior didn't always fight fair and was eventually expelled. Icthior had also been a rival for Isinia's affections. Commander Cruger was angry and told Kat that Icthior was trying to bring down his cadets and he wasn't going to let that happen. Later, Omega Ranger was sent out as lure for Icthior. Commander Cruger wasn't crazy about the idea and keep a close eye on Omega Ranger. Icthior confronted Omega Ranger and they battled. Omega Ranger ended up badly injured. Shadow Ranger arrived and asked Omega Ranger if he was okay. Omega Ranger told him that he guess he show him. Shadow Ranger faced down Icthior. They battled and Shadow Ranger was about to deal the fatal blow when Icthior reminded Shadow Ranger of his promise to Isinia. Shadow Ranger was lost in thought for a few moments as he remembered his promise to Isinia to never strike in anger. Icthior took advantage and struck Shadow Ranger. Shadow Ranger fell to the ground and demorph. Icthior took his badge and toss it to Broodwing, who had just appeared. Commander Cruger was surprised to see Broodwing and couldn't believe he was behind it. Badly injured, Commander Cruger was taken to infirmary. Kat stood by his bedside as Dr. Felix told her that they had all sustained serious injuries and needed bed rest. Z and Jack were there. Jack told Kat to watch over the guys, they were tackle Icthior. Commander Cruger told them no, that was what Icthior was waiting for. Commander Cruger ordered them to stay put. Jack and Z left the infirmary. Later, Commander Cruger tried to contact Z and Jack and did not get a response. He muttered that he should have done and attempted to get out of bed. Dr. Felix stopped him and ordered him to stay in him. Reluctantly, Commander Cruger laid back down. Once Dr. Felix left, Commander Cruger got up and told his cadets they were going. Kat protested, but Commander Cruger and the cadets didn't listen. Kat told their retreating backs that she would prep the zords. Shadow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Green Ranger arrived to help Red Ranger and Yellow Ranger battled numerous Krybots, Blueheads, Orangeheads, Icthior and Broodwing. Moments later Omega Ranger arrived as well. Shadow Ranger battled Icthior. Omega Ranger took on Broodwing, while the rest of the Rangers went into S.W.A.T. mode and destroyed the Blueheads, Orangeheads, and Krybots. Shadow Ranger and Icthior faced each other down, Icthior reminded Shadow Ranger once again of his promise. Shadow Ranger told him it was anger, it was justice. He also told Icthior that he wasn't fit to say Isinia's name or memory. Icthior mocked Shadow Ranger for believing that Isinia had perished in the battle of Sirius and told Shadow Ranger that Isinia was alive. Shadow Ranger had doubts about Isinia being alive, but no doubts about taking Icthior in. Soon Icthior was contained. All together the Rangers faced down Broodwing. Broodwing had a robot standing by and leaped into it. Kat contacted the Rangers and told them that the Delta Command Crawler was on it's way. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers leaped into the Delta Command Crawler and formed the megazord. The battle was intense. The Rangers managed to destroy the robot, but Broodwing had slipped away. Later, Commander Cruger stood apart from everyone else in the command center. His thoughts centered around the idea that Isinia might be alive.
Commander Cruger and Kat were walking together. Commander Cruger was deep in thought and Kat finally stopped him. Kat: You're not listening to met at all. Are you? Commander Cruger: You're right. I'm sorry Kat. I was just thinking about...Kat: Isinia? Commander Cruger groaned: Yes. Do you think it's possible she's still alive. Kat: I don't know. It's been a long time. Commander Cruger told Kat that he still hadn't lost hope that the A Squad would be found. He had wondered if A Squad was around, would Gruumm be defeated by now. Late that night, Commander Cruger walked into the rec room and overheard Z told the rest of the cadets that they had to tell Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger asked them what it was they had to say. The cadets excitedly walk over and started talking at once. Commander Cruger had them quiet down. Jack told Commander Cruger that they had overheard what he had said to Kat about A Squad. He told them that they hadn't eavesdrop long enough or they would have heard him and Kat agreed that A Squad was not that good if they had fallen into Gruumm's trap, something B Squad had managed to avoid. The rest of the cadets realized that this was true. Commander Cruger asked them if there was anything else. Sky told him that while they were feeling sorry for themselves, that they realized that Gruumm was using Earth's resources to build something to destroy them. Commander Cruger agreed with them and told them now was the time for action, after a good night's sleep. The cadets started to walk out and Commander Cruger stopped them. He told them to not forget that the fate of the world lies in their hands.
There is one mission that Commander Cruger was on, but has no memories of. It is when a wormhole opened. Kat announced: Power Rangers report to Delta Command Center. Commander Cruger and Kat were waiting in the command center for the cadets to arrive. The cadets raced in. Jack asked: What's going on? Commander Cruger replied: Gruumm has gone and so has his ship. Sky: Yes, he's retreated! Jack yelled: We won!! Commander Cruger watched as his cadets cheered and high five each other. Commander Cruger barked: Enough! Jack: Hello! Hello! It's celebration time. You said it yourself, Gruumm is gone. Commander Cruger: Yes, he's gone. But I know my enemy. He does not retreat. Kat, who had been monitoring the computer, said: Commander, I found something. I was scanning the far reaches of the Trinerum Nebula when I found this. Commander Cruger glanced at the screen: A wormhole? Kat: Yes, a temporal wormhole. And there are traces of Troobian energy inside the rim. Jack: Sounds like retreating to me. Commander Cruger turned around and faced the cadets: That's what he wants us to think. Sky: Sir, then where is he going? Commander Cruger: The more important question. What time is he going to? Later, Commander Cruger summoned Z, Bridge, and Jack to the command center. Kat explained that the wormhole allowed time travel and Commander Cruger was convinced that Gruumm had gone back in time to conquer Earth, after failing so many times in the present. Commander Cruger told the three he was sending them to the wormhole, after Gruumm. Syd and Sky would stay to protect the present. Bridge, Jack, and Z left to board the space shuttle. Later, Kat was concerned. Kat told Commander Cruger that the wormhole was closing and would be completely closed in three hours. If the Rangers didn't make it back before then, they were never making it back. Commander Cruger immediately summon Syd, Sky, and Omega Ranger to the command center. He told them what was happening and he was going back to get them. Sky stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that he was going as well. Syd added that she wanted to go as well. Commander Cruger told them no, they were to stay and protect the present. Sky told Commander Cruger if Gruumm was successful, there would be no present to protect. Kat told Commander Cruger that Sky was right. Commander Cruger agreed and told them they were all going. Commander Cruger, Sky, Syd, and Omega Ranger arrived in Reefside in the year 2004. The S.P.D. Rangers and the Dino Thunder Rangers were already in the midst of a battle with Zeltrax, and numerous Krybots, Tyrannodrones, Blueheads, Orangeheads, and three monsters. Zeltrax was about to deal a fatal blow to Black Ranger when Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Omega Ranger stopped him. Shadow Ranger helped Black Ranger up and told him it was a pleasure to met him. Shadow Ranger fought alongside Black Ranger against Zeltrax. Eventually, Zeltrax decided this was not his battle and retreated. The rest of the Rangers had managed to destroy the monsters and the Tyrannodrones. Shadow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers stood facing the remaining Krybots, Blueheads, and Orangeheads. Both teams used their laser cannons and destroyed the remaining Troobian forces. Gruumm decided it was time to go back to the year 2025 and left in his ship. Commander Cruger, his cadets, and Conner, Kira, Trent, and Ethan went to Reefside High School. Kira, Trent, Ethan, and Conner wanted them to stay a little longer, but Z explained that the wormhole was closing. Trent told them thanks and it was an experience he would never forget. Sky told them, that unfortunately, they couldn't let them remember and Kira came to the conclusion that they were going to erase their memories. Commander Cruger held up a device and erase Ethan's, Trent's, Kira's, and Conner's memories. They were confused and Commander Cruger told them school was over and to go home. Bridge thought it was unfair that they couldn't remember what had happened. Commander Cruger agreed that it was unfair and then used the device on Syd, Z, Bridge, Jack, and Sky, erasing their memories. The cadets were confused and Jack asked him what was going on. Commander Cruger told them they were on a mission and now they needed to board the space shuttle, which had preset coordinates. Z, Bridge, Jack, Sky, Syd, and Omega Ranger headed back to the space shuttle. Commander Cruger held up the device and used it on himself. Z asked Commander Cruger if he was coming. Commander Cruger was a little confused and told her yes, he had better. The space shuttle took them back to the year 2025.
Commander Cruger cleared his throat before walking into the rec room. The cadets immediately stood at attention. Commander Cruger: At ease. Rangers, these last few days have been uneventful. Commander Cruger told the cadets to keep a lookout, something was brewing. He noticed that Jack was missing and asked where he was. Syd told him that Jack had gotten bored and went into the city. Commander Cruger was about to leave, when he noticed Bridge about to eat a plate full of toasted bread. Commander Cruger asked Bridge if that was all for him. Bridge told him, no, that he had some for everyone, but no one want any. Bridge asked Commander Cruger if he would like some, and added that it was buttery. Bridge tried to stop his fingers from wiggling as Commander Cruger passed on the toast. Later, the cadets entered the command center. Commander Cruger and Kat were there. A hologram of Delex was display. Kat told them that criminal they were battling earlier, was Delex. Delex used human cells to charge up his batteries. Commander Cruger wanted Delex found at once. He also wanted the Rangers to work in teams. Commander Cruger noticed that Jack was missing again and asked where he was. Z confessed that Jack had left right after the battle. Commander Cruger barked that he wanted Jack found as well. The cadets left. Later, the Rangers, except Red Ranger, were battling Delex once more. Kat told Commander Cruger that the Rangers had found Delex and were battling. Commander Cruger ask if Jack had been found, and Kat bowed her head. Commander Cruger barked that he wanted Jack found. Soon, Commander Cruger took up the search himself, trying to reach Jack through his communicator. When Jack eventually answered, Commander Cruger was not too pleased with him. He barked at him that he wanted him to stop what he was doing and to help the Rangers. Later, after the Rangers contained Delex, everyone was back in the command center. Commander Cruger told the cadets that they had done a fine job. The cadets started to leave. Commander Cruger told Jack that he wanted him to stay. After the cadets left, Commander Cruger asked Jack what had happened. Jack, played the innocent, and told Commander Cruger that he didn't understand. The Rangers kicked the aliens butt, end of story. Commander Cruger, very angry at this point, told Jack that it may be the end of his story, but it wasn't the end of his. He wanted to know where Jack was and who he was with. Jack admitted that he had screw up, but he also told Commander Cruger that where he was and who he was with was none of his business. Commander Cruger was taken aback. Jack told him that he may not have a life outside of S.P.D., but he was sure going to have one. Jack ask if that was all and Commander Cruger dismiss him. After Jack left, Commander Cruger asked Kat if she could believe what Jack had said. Kat told Commander Cruger that Jack had been very brave in standing up to him. Kat also told Commander Cruger that even if it all ended tomorrow, Jack deserve to have a life. Commander Cruger growled at her. Kat told him that he could growl all he want, but don't ask if he didn't want to hear what she had to say. Moments later, Kat told Commander Cruger that a S.O.S. signal was coming from Gamma Orion. Commander Cruger had the Rangers go. Commander Cruger and Kat monitored the Rangers progress on the planet. The Rangers had defeated the Troobians and Red Ranger had captured the alien that had attacked their group. Kat asked Commander Cruger if he still question Jack's loyalty. Commander Cruger told her that Jack's loyalty was never in question. Later, the Rangers returned to the command center with A Squad. Kat left to prepare A Squad's post medical ops. Commander Cruger told the cadets that they had done a great job filling in, but he needed to talk to A Squad. Commander Cruger dismiss the cadets and they left in disbelief. Commander Cruger walked down the line and told A Squad that he had feared the worst, he had a lot of questions and he was sure that they had a lot of questions as well. A Squad Red told Commander Cruger that he was coming with them. Commander Cruger turned around and was stunned to find that A Squad had suited up and their weapons were pointed at him. A Squad Red told Commander Cruger that he had an appointment with Emperor Gruumm.
Commander Cruger was taken to Gruumm's ship. A Squad stood close by as Gruumm asked Commander Cruger how it felt to be betrayed by his own Rangers. Commander Cruger: These are not Rangers. A real Power Ranger must be true of heart. Commander Cruger glanced at A Squad: All those years of training and you have learn nothing. A Squad Red, Charlie, told Commander Cruger to grow, everyone wanted to be on the winning side. Commander Cruger: There are still people willing to do anything it takes to protect Earth. Charlie mocked Commander Cruger, telling him he couldn't mean the pathetic losers, B Squad. Gruumm told Charlie not to underestimate B Squad, that they had been a great annoyance. Charlie told Gruumm that was because they hadn't encounter the best of the best. Charlie wanted A Squad to take down B Squad. Commander Cruger: No!! Gruumm told Charlie to do it. Later, Gruumm stood in front of the holding cell that Commander Cruger had been placed. Commander Cruger told him that he wouldn't get away with it. Gruumm reminded him that he had gotten away with it and asked if he remembered the battle on Sirius. Commander Cruger told him he had. Gruumm told Commander Cruger that he had as well, he still had the battle scars, pointing to his damaged horn. Gruumm told Commander Cruger that he had taken something precious from him and he had also taken something precious from Cruger. Commander Cruger was stunned when a struggling Isinia was brought forward. Isinia was just as surprised to see Doggie. Isinia was taken away. Commander Cruger yelled for Isinia as he tried to get out of the holding cell. He was very frustrated. Soon, the cadets were brought to his holding cell and placed there as well. Jack asked Commander Cruger if he was okay and Commander Cruger told him he was fine. Commander Cruger told Gruumm that this was not over. Gruumm agreed and told them it was only going to get worse.
Gruumm left. Jack tried to break out of the holding cell, but had no luck. Commander Cruger: Jack, your genetic powers have been neutralized. You can't break out. Jack: Well, you can't blame a guy for trying. Commander Cruger: Jack, we need to talk. It's come to my attention that you'll be leaving S.P.D. Jack: What? Hey, I didn't say any...no why are we talking about this now? It doesn't look like we'll get out of here any time soon. Commander Cruger: Whether we leave here or not, it is important for you to follow your path. Jack: You're wrong, sir. I love S.P.D. Commander Cruger: Yes, I know that, and you give it one hundred percent. But you and I both know where your heart lies. Moments later, a Orangehead and four Krybots came to the cell. The Orangehead told them that Omni had decided that their presence is no longer required. Commander Cruger and his cadets braced themselves. The Orangehead and Krybots entered the cell. Commander Cruger told the cadets that it has been his honor to serve with them. The Orangehead called out to fire and a laser went off. The Orangehead and three Krybots were on the ground. Only one Krybot remained. Sky felt sure they could take on the Krybot. As they drew closer, the Krybot yelled at them to wait. The Krybot removed his helmet and revealed that he was Piggy. Piggy apologized for betraying them. Sky angrily stepped forward and quietly thanked him. Commander Cruger reminded them that they had a planet to save. Commander Cruger lead the cadets, and Piggy out of the cell and into a passageway. In the passageway they ran into trouble, as several Orangeheads, Blueheads, and Krybots were there. Commander Cruger and the cadets battled the Blueheads, Krybots, and Orangeheads until they were all defeated. Commander Cruger and the cadets contemplated how to get off the ship. Piggy stepped forward with an armful of morphers and asked them if it would help. Bridge contacted Kat and she sent the S.W.A.T. flyers. Commander Cruger told the cadets this is were they parted. Jack wanted to stay with Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger told him that his team needed him. The cadets still hesitated until Commander Cruger barked that it was an order. The cadets and Piggy left. Commander Cruger silently wished them well and then went searching for Isinia. In one passageway he ran into a stunned Mora. Mora immediately began drawing monsters and tossing them towards Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger suited up to Shadow Ranger and destroyed each monster. Mora ran out of paper and she mockingly asked Commander Cruger what he was going to do, after all, she was only a kid. Shadow Ranger contained Mora and muttered, kids. Commander Cruger contained his search until he entered the control room. There he found Isinia and Gruumm. Isinia was thrilled to see him, but Gruumm wouldn't let Isinia move. Commander Cruger angrily demanded that Gruumm let go of his wife and soon suited up to Shadow Ranger. Gruumm dangled Isinia over and told Shadow Ranger if he stepped closer, he would drop her. Shadow Ranger stepped forward and Gruumm dropped Isinia. Shadow Ranger leaped over and grabbed Isinia and tossed her back onto the landing. Now Shadow Ranger was dangling with Gruumm right above him. Shadow Ranger yanked Gruumm's hand and Gruumm was now dangling as Isinia helped Shadow Ranger backed onto the landing. Gruumm vowed that Cruger would not contain him and let go. Isinia gave Shadow Ranger a hug and was thrilled to see him after so many years apart. Commander Cruger contacted Kat and told her that he was inside the Omni ship. Kat asked him to send her information and she would try to find out where Omni was weak. Quickly Kat found the information and told Cruger that if he could open the left panel under Omni's arm, the Rangers would be able to fire at the core. Commander Cruger tried but Gruumm had locked the controls. He told Kat that he would have to do it manually. Cruger turned towards Isinia and told her that she still had time to leave. Isinia refused to be parted from her husband. They ran together as Kat contacted the Rangers with the information and told them if Cruger. Cruger corrected her by telling her when. Commander Cruger and Isinia found the panel and contacted Kat. Commander Cruger could hear the tears in Kat's voice as she realized that he would not make it. Commander Cruger told her he knew and to let him know when the Rangers were ready. Kat gave the signal and Cruger opened the panel. He then grabbed Isinia and they took cover. Within seconds, Omni blew apart. Commander Cruger and Isinia survive and they stepped out of the smoky haze. Cruger's cadets were the first to see them and they were thrilled. The cadets walked behind Commander Cruger and Isinia as they headed towards base. Commander Cruger could see that the rest of S.P.D. had survive as well and congratulated them. The crowd were stunned to see that Commander Cruger was okay. Commander Cruger lifted his sword into the air and yelled S.P.D.! The cadets behind him picked up the cheer and then the crowd as well. Suddenly Gruumm appeared and wanted to battle Cruger. Jack and his team were ready to back Commander Cruger up, but Cruger insisted that this was his battle. Commander Cruger and Gruumm faced each other and then began to battle. It wasn't long before Commander Cruger gained the upper hand. Gruumm was weaken and told Cruger to show no mercy. Commander Cruger raised his sword high above Gruumm and then let it swing down and knocked off Gruumm's other horn. Gruumm was furious and Commander Cruger quickly contained him. Commander Cruger faced the crowd with the containment card and told them that justice has been served. Everyone cheered. The following day, Commander Cruger was in the command center with Dr. Felix, Kat, and Boom. Sky, Syd, Z, Bridge, Omega Ranger, and Nova Ranger stood at attention. Commander Cruger announced that Jack had resigned from S.P.D. The cadets were stunned. Syd couldn't believe that Jack would leave without saying goodbye. Z told them that was the way Jack was, once a job is done, he's gone. Commander Cruger told them that because of their outstanding job in protecting Earth, he was elevating them to A Squad. The cadets glanced at each other and remained quiet. Commander Cruger asked them if they had heard him, he was promoting them to A Squad. Bridge told him that they had heard, but that they had talked about it and they wanted to remain B Squad. It was who they were. Commander Cruger agreed with their decision and told them there would no longer be an A Squad. Commander Cruger pointed out that they had no Red Ranger, no leader. Commander Cruger asked Sky to step forward. He asked Sky if he appointed Syd as the new Red Ranger, would Sky follow Syd into battle. Sky told him that he would follow anyone Cruger felt was worthy to wear the color red. Commander Cruger congratulated Sky and told him he was the new Red Ranger. He told Sky that his father would be very proud of him. The time portal opened up and Omega Ranger announced that was their ride. Omega Ranger and Nova Ranger stood in front of the time portal and thanked everyone for keeping the future safe. Z stepped forward and gave Omega Ranger a hug and told him that she would see him in twenty years. Omega Ranger assured her that he would be there. Omega Ranger's and Nova Ranger's bodies materialize for the briefest moment and then they vanished into the time portal.
