Origins, Part I - Page Two

Red Ranger continues to battle the Moogers with his fiery Spin Sword.  Eventually Red Ranger destroys all the Moogers.

Red Ranger demorphs as he walks over to Mentor Ji.  Mentor Ji tells him wonderful.  I'm so proud of the boy I've devoted my life to training, has grown to be a master samurai and is ready to lead others into battle.  Jayden replies, but I'm use to fighting alone.  I don't want to be anyone else in danger.  Mentor Ji points out, the Nighlok attacks are escalating.  More and more of them are coming across to do their evil.  Jayden replies, sure, and if anymore Moogers dare pay us a visit, they'll get a taste of my Spin Sword.  Jayden starts to walk away from Mentor Ji.  Mentor Ji warns Jayden to not underestimate the power of Master Xandred if he awakens.  His Nighlok legions are too much for one person.  Even one as strong as you.  Jayden pauses.  Mentor Ji continues, teams of samurai have battle this evil for centuries.  Jayden turns around and faces Mentor Ji.  He asks Mentor Ji, I'm really suppose to lead a team?  Mentor Ji answers, it's what your training has prepared you for.  There are four others who have trained for these dark days.  They await the call to join you and to fight as Samurai Rangers.  Jayden gives a small nod and walks away, telling Mentor Ji, I understand.  I'll do whatever it takes.  Mentor Ji joins him.  They are unaware of a gap glowing red.

Octoroo is watching Jayden and Mentor Ji through the gap.  Octoroo is in the Netherworld, standing on the rocky shore of the Sanzu River.  Octoroo comments, and so will I.  Octoroo chuckles.  Suddenly there is a sound.  Octoroo wonders what it is.  Octoroo takes a look at the river.  Ooh, ah, ooh!  I've got a lump in my throat.  I hear the Master's boat.  The Master's boat bursts through the water.  On the boat, Dayu is strumming her Harmonium.  Octoroo quickly gets on the boat.  He tells Dayu, it's good to be back on aboard again.  So, Dayu, where's the big red one?  Dayu doesn't say anything.  Octoroo gets impatient.  Come on, answer me!  Just where is that barnacle of a boss?  Where is Master Xandred?  Out with it.  Dayu answers quietly, Octoroo, I get it.  You missed him.  Octoroo becomes very frustrated.  Tell me!  Tell me!  You're the only one who knows.  We've been without our leader for so long.  We need him back!  Sure, he's mean to be me, but that's just boss being boss.  Master Xandred hollers, silence you fool, from beneath a woven door flap.  Master Xandred comes through the door and shouts that he has a splitting headache.  Zip those lips, unless you want to spend the rest of your time untying those noodles you call a face!  Octoroo comments that Master Xandred is very grumpy for someone who is intelligent enough to talk with his mouth close.  Octoroo looks over at the Moogers.  You two quickly!  Give him medicine to ease the ache in his noggin.  Master Xandred commands the Mooger to hurry up.  The Mooger pours the medicine into the bowl as quick as he can.  Octoroo tells Master Xandred, that should help.  Master Xandred drinks the medicine.  You'll be back to normal in no time.  Feel better?  Master Xandred comments, I don't even want to think about what I had to endure because of those lousy Samurai Rangers.  Good thing I destroyed them all.  Octoroo has the unfortunate task of telling Master Xandred this is not true.  Dayu stops strumming and looks up.  You're joking?  Master Xandred is furious and he stands up.  Those brats defeated me!  Octoroo trembles as he tells Master Xandred to calm down.  Tooya enters the boat.  He is eager to get this party started.  I see that Master Xandred is back in charge, so let's celebrate.  Master Xandred becomes even more angry.  He slams his weapon against the boat hard enough to make it rock dangerously.  Master Xandred shouts, unbelievable!  How did those brats defeat me?!
