Unexpected Arrival - Page Two

The house is protected by defensive symbols.  Mike remarks, and they are doing a good job.  I mean, someone shot this arrow.  Mike takes the arrow from Jayden.  Mike comments something fishy about this.  Emily replies, obviously.  But that is not what Mike means, no there really is something fishy.  He places the smelly arrow next to Emily's face.  She smells it and pulls her face away in disgust.

Night falls and Jayden sits at a table, working.  He soon gets the sense that someone is watching him.  He quickly gets up and turns around, but no one is there.  Jayden asks, where are you?  Mike has heard him and enters the room, asking him what's up?  Jayden replies, something is here.  Mike is soon joined by Kevin.  Jayden's hair is ruffled as something passes him.  He tells his friends, there!  But they don't see anything.  Mia and Emily come running into the room.  Jayden has them be quiet as he searches for the source.  He believes it is in the closet and slowly walks towards it.  Jayden opens the closet and a practice form falls down.  Mia tells Jayden, not to scare them like that.  Jayden could have sworn there was something.  Mike tells him to relax.  There's nothing here.  Jayden doesn't buy it.  There's definitely something other worldly here.  I can sense it.  Mia replies, sorry Jayden.  We didn't sense anything.  Could it be your imagination?  Mentor Ji walks in.  He tells Jayden it's important to trust your instincts, but I don't feel another presence.  Jayden feels the presence go past him.  He quickly uses his Samuraizer to bring forth his Spin Sword.  Jayden almost slices Emily's face as he uses the weapon.  Jayden apologizes.  Jayden mutters, where are you as he walks out of the room and continues to search the house.  Every once in awhile, he slices the air with his Spin Sword, but nothing materializes.  Mike, Emily, Kevin, Mia, and Mentor Ji cautiously follow Jayden and watch him.  Mike tells them, he's really got that flipping out thing down pat.  Kevin asks if anyone else feels anything?  No one does.

The Nighlok (Vulpes) watches Jayden, enjoying the fact that Jayden is freaked out.  Jayden enters the bathroom, still convince that he had felt a presence.  Vulpes decides to continue to feed Jayden's paranoia.  As Jayden stares in the mirror, another breeze ruffles his hair.  Jayden looks around, but sees nothing.  Jayden shakes his head as he gives up on tracking down the presence.  He turns on the sink and lets the water run.
