Jayden's Dad - Steven A. Davis

The attacks from the Nighloks had escalated.  It was time for Jayden to gather his team of Samurai Rangers.  Jayden was not sure if he was ready to lead.  Mentor Ji reminded him to remember his father's last words.  Jayden was a very young boy, when his dad, also the Red Samurai Ranger, gave him the case with the Lion Folding Zord.  Jayden's Dad:  This is to be yours.  One day the great responsibility of being the Red Ranger will fall to you.  Remember protect the world from evil, stand by your allies, and never run from a battle.  The rest of the Rangers ran out to the courtyard.  One of them yelled:  Master Xandred is on the move!  Come on!  We've got to go!  Jayden's dad put his helmet on and race with the rest of the Rangers out of the courtyard.  Red Ranger:  Samurai Rangers, let's finish this!  This memory convinced Jayden he was ready to lead a team of Samurai Rangers.

Jayden dad's was also the Red Samurai Power Ranger.  Years ago, Master Xandred had launched a surprise attack.  It was an intense battle and the Rangers were nearly defeated.  Master Xandred faced down Red Ranger. He told Red Ranger, he will regret ever messing with his plans.  Red Ranger was leaning on his Fire Smasher.  Master Xandred walked towards Red Ranger, telling him he was no match for him.  Master Xandred struck Red Ranger.  Red Ranger fell to the ground.  Master Xandred mockingly stated, victory is mine and turned his back and walked away laughing.  Using the last of his strength, Red Ranger used the symbol power for sealing Master Xandred in the Netherworld.  Using the symbol power caused Red Ranger to demorph.  Unfortunately Jayden's dad did not have enough strength to create a permanent seal.

When Jayden was very young, Jayden's dad had a very serious conversation with him.  He was dressed in the Samurai Power Ranger outfit.  It was dark and they were outside of Shiba House.  Mentor Ji was there as well.  Jayden's Dad:  One day the great responsibility of being the Red Ranger will fall to you.  Remember protect the world from evil.  Stand by your allies.  Never run from a battle.  Jayden's dad gave Jayden the Samuraizer.  Another time, Jayden's dad sat with Jayden outside of Shiba House.  He was making a paper airplane as he talked to Jayden.  You must be brave.  One day you will lead a team of Rangers against Master Xandred.  I know that together, you will rise to the challenge.  Jayden's dad tosses the paper airplane into the sky and it glides over the trees.
