EMILY

Page Four

Emily is sitting next to Mike in the front pew of the church.  Kevin is sitting behind them.  Mentor Ji is sitting across from them.  Standing in front of the priest is Mia and Jayden.  Priest:  Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today, to join these two people in matrimony.  This occasion marks the celebration of love and commitment, with which this man and this woman, begin their life together.  Mentor Ji dabs at his eyes with his handkerchief as he tears up.  Priest:  Through marriage we make a commitment together.  Mike catches Mentor Ji crying and he is amused.  He turns around to talk to Kevin.  Mike:  Dude, check out Mentor's water works.  Mike's grin fades as he sees Kevin is crying too.  Kevin:  It's just allergies.  Kevin glances at his boutonnière.  Kevin:  The flowers.  Mike looks confounded and turns back around.  Emily:  Wow.  Mia looks so beautiful.  Mike:  Someone get me out of here.  Priest:  You promise one another to aspire to these ideals throughout the rest of your lives together.  Love is patient.  Love is kind.  Mike starts to slouch down in his pew.  Mike:  I think I'm going to be sick.  Priest:  Do you promise to be faithful to her, forsaking all others for the rest of your life?  Mia looks at Jayden.  Priest:  If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together....Mentor Ji stands up and he is on the phone.  Mentor Ji:  They took the bride!  Okay.  Mentor Ji hangs up.  Emily, Kevin, and Mike get up and gather with Mia and Jayden.  Mentor Ji:  The Nighloks didn't take the bait.  Emily:  I thought our fake wedding would have worked for sure.  Mentor Ji:  Not this time.  The Moogers stole to the church downtown and kidnapped another bride.  Emily and her friends headed to their Shiba House.  They sat around a table with a large map on it.  Mentor Ji:  That makes it five brides kidnapped.  Mike pulls up another map and traces it with his finger.  Mike:  Hey, look.  It's in a pattern.  In the shape of a star.  Kevin:  You're right.  Have you studied maps and crime patterns before?  Mike:  Kind of.  I watch a lot of cop shows.  Kevin shakes his head.  Jayden:  Too much is left up to chance.  We have to make sure we lure them in before any more brides are taken.  Mia:  I can't even begin to imagine what those poor girls are going through.  I mean, this is suppose to be the happiest day of their lives.  Emily:  Do you think they would have taken those brides to the Sanzu River?  Mentor Ji:  No.  The living can't survive there for long.  The Moogers must have used the gap to take them somewhere else.  Mia:  Wherever they are, if our sting operation had worked, I could have helped those poor brides.  Jayden:  We'll have to try again.  Kevin:  But how do we get them to our wedding?  Mentor Ji holds up a clipboard with a sheet of a paper on it.  Mentor Ji:  Here's the list of the weddings scheduled for our area.  Emily, Kevin, Mike, and Mia leaned over to take a closer look.  Emily:  There's so many weddings.  That's the problem.  Jayden had been deep in thought.  Jayden:  I have an idea.  That evening, Mentor Ji returns with the list.  Mia and Kevin look over the list.  Mia can't believe all of these weddings, except one, was cancelled.  Mentor Ji informs them that Jayden warned them all about the bride kidnappings.  Jayden adds with only one wedding left, we know exactly which one the Nighloks will hit.  Mia is looking forward to being a blushing bride bait again.  Mike takes the list from Mia and tells her, something tells me you're happy to wear that dress again.  Emily points out that every girl wants to wear a wedding dress.  Maybe Mia more than others.  Mike shudders.  Mia confesses that she is a sucker for Cinderella.  Jayden looks at Mia, like she's lost it.  Mia catches the look and quickly gets serious.  Okay, once we get a fix on the locations of the brides, I'll send back the coordinates.  Jayden adds we'll be ready to save them.  The next morning, Emily and her friends head off for the wedding.  Emily, Kevin, and Mike enter the room, where the bride is getting ready, with the groom.  Mia is already there with the bride.  Mike tells the groom to trust him, hide with the bride.  Kevin tells them they don't have much time to explain, but it's for your own safety.  The bride and groom are lead to a small room.  The bride asks what's going on?  Emily tells them not to worry, it's just for a little while.  Soon the outdoor wedding ceremony begins, with Mia and Jayden as bride and groom.  The plan works and Mia is taken.  Mia is taken where Dayu is.  Dayu quickly revealed that she knew the "bride" was the Pink Samurai Ranger.  Dayu laughed as she thought about her plan to destroy the remaining Rangers.  Dayu commands the Moogers to get rid of her.  Suddenly the Lion Folding Zord flies in and hits Dayu and a couple of the Moogers.  It flies over to Mia and drops her Samuraizer in her hands.  Dayu is furious.  Jayden, Mike, and Kevin walk in.  Dayu wants to know how they escaped the warehouse.  Mia stands up and tells Dayu it's her turn to cry.  I'm not the only Samurai Ranger that has been kidnapped today.  From within the cake comes several glowing strikes.  The cake falls apart to reveal Emily and the brides.  Emily tells Dayu, two Samurai brides are twice as nice.  Don't you think?  Dayu doesn't understand how it can be.  Emily replies, pretty easily, actually.  When Mia traded places with the real bride, we made sure she had double bride protection.  So, when you came to kidnap the real bride, guess who you ended up kidnapping instead?  Once Emily was inside the cake, she contacted Jayden.  Dayu is still confused - but the warehouse?  Who went there?  Jayden replies our doubles.  Jayden, Kevin,  and Mike used their symbol power to create doubles.  Mike even told his to have a blast.  The doubles took off.  Dayu becomes upset as the brides race out of the building.  In the process, they knock over Dayu's wedding gown and it becomes trampled on and destroyed.  Emily tells Dayu, it looks like her dressmaking days are over.  Dayu replies, oh yeah, we'll see about that.  Dayu blows smoke out of her mouth to blast the teens.  Emily, Mike, Jayden, Kevin, and Mia quickly morph.  Dayu and the Moogers slip outside.  The Power Rangers are ready for her.  They soon surround Dayu.  Dayu has the Moogers attack.  The Rangers battle the Moogers with their Spin Swords.  During the battle, Dayu manages to slip away.  The Rangers soon note that she is missing.  Eventually Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Red Ranger defeat their batch of Moogers and continue the battle with Dayu elsewhere.  Dayu prepares to blast the three Rangers.  Yellow Ranger and Green Ranger leap in with their Spin Swords and block the blast.  Pink Ranger and Blue Ranger strike Dayu together.  Blue Ranger uses his dragon splash and Pink Ranger her air wave.  Dayu is knocked back a couple of feet.  Pink Ranger and Blue Ranger join the rest of the Rangers.  Red Ranger summons his Fire Smasher.  Fires Smasher is quickly transform into Five Disc Beetle Cannon.  Red Ranger fires the cannon.  Suddenly a mysterious figure leaps in front of Dayu.  He blocks the blast with Uramasa.  The Rangers wonder, who's that?  The smoke clears.  The mysterious figure talks directly to Red Ranger.  Red Ranger, you shall be my sword's, Uramasa, greatest challenge.  Pink Ranger wonders what that means?  Dayu is surprised - Deker, you came to save me?  Deker replies, not quite.  Deker speaks to Red Ranger once more.  Red Ranger, we will dual soon.  Until then.  Deker grabs a hold of Dayu and leaped up onto a cliff.  Blue Ranger can't believe they are running away.  Yellow Ranger calls them cowards.  Deker summons giant Moogers to attack them.  The giant Moogers seep out of the gap.  Deker grabs a hold of Dayu and they leave.  The Power Rangers pull out their Samuraizers.  The Rangers summon their folding zords.  The folding zords arrive and Samurai Megazord is formed.  Beetle zord is summon and Beetle Blaster Megazord is quickly formed.  Beetle Blaster Megazord battles the Moogers.  Beetle Blaster Megazord strikes a couple of Moogers with it's sword.  Beetle Blaster Megazord fires it's cannon.  Several Moogers are destroyed.  Two of the remaining Moogers grab a hold of Beetle Blaster Megazord and jam their controls.  Yellow Ranger exclaims, we can't break free!  Two more Moogers leap into the air and strike Beetle Blaster Megazord with their weapons.  Green Ranger exclaims, we're stuck!  Pink Ranger tells Red Ranger, we got to change things up fast.  Red Ranger agrees.  Samurai Megazord blasts and breaks free of the four giant Moogers.  Blue Ranger summons Swordfish zord.  Swordfish zord launches it's torpedoes.  It destroys one of the Moogers.  Swordfish Fencer Megazord is formed.  The Rangers call out, Megablade, strike position!  When the sword is in position, the Rangers call out, Swordfish Slash!  The three remaining Moogers are destroyed.  After the battle, Emily and her friends head into the city.  Emily is walking in the middle of Mike and Kevin.  Mia and Jayden are dragging a little behind them.  Mike tells Emily that she made a beautiful bride.  Emily is flattered by the compliment.  Emily responds, she never felt so pretty.  Mike and Kevin continued, but Emily stops and waits for Mia.  Emily notes the sad look at Mia's face and asks if she is alright?  Mia replies, yeah, I guess so.  Emily tries to cheer her up.  Hey, because of you, all those brides were saved and will have their special day after all.  Mia responds, what Dayu did was terrible, but, I can't shake the feeling that all of Dayu's anger came from some past sadness.  I mean, why was she so into that wedding dress?  Oh well, I just hope one day it will be my turn to play the bride for real.  Emily tells her not to worry.  You will, I'm sure of it.  Emily spots a bakery and points it out to Mia.  Emily tells Mia, there's nothing like a cupcake to make you feel better.  Mia smiles.  Emily and Mia start heading over to the bakery shop.  Emily notes that Jayden is not with them and walks over to Jayden.  She tells him, come on!  Come have a victory goodie with us!  Samurai Rangers!  Cupcakes are ours!  Jayden glances over at the bakery shop.  Kevin, Mia, and Mike are all waiting for him.  Jayden smiles and replies, why not?  As long as it's not wedding cake.  Emily and Jayden head over to the bakery shop.  There is a bit of a jam at the door, as Emily and Jayden try to walk in as Spike and Bulk try to leave.  After a bit of jostling, Emily and Jayden make their way in.

Out in the courtyard of Shiba House, Red Ranger and Blue Ranger are sparring with their Spin Swords.  Emily, Mike, Mentor Ji, and Mia are watching them.  Mike:  He's got mad skill.  I'm impressed.  Mentor Ji:  Yes.  Jayden's one of the best that's ever been.  Mike:  I was talking  about Kevin.  He's right up there with Jayden.  Mentor Ji looked surprised.  They continued to watch the two Rangers.  Emily:  He's so graceful with the sword.  Mentor Ji grinned.  Mentor Ji:  Yes.  Jayden's always had that quality.  Even as a child.  Emily:  I meant Kevin.  Mentor Ji was really taken aback.  Mia:  Kevin's technique is better.  Mentor Ji stepped forward and faced them.  Mentor Ji:  They are both excellent swordsmen.  Practice sparring is one thing, but true skills shown in battle, is what really counts.  Mike:  I'd hate to see what would happen if they really had to battle each other.  Mia laughs.  Mia:  That would never happen.  Nothing could ever make Kevin fight against a fellow Ranger.  Emily agreed.  Emily:  He's true blue.  The practice ends with Red Ranger making a strike against Blue Ranger.  Blue Ranger:  Good match Jayden.  I obviously need more practice.  Red Ranger:  Hey, don't beat yourself up over a lost point.  Blue Ranger:  Okay, let's go again!  Blue Ranger and Red Ranger face each other again for another practice. Later, the gap sensor goes off and Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers race out of Shiba house. The Samurai Power Rangers are racing through the woods.  They soon encounter Madimot.  Red Ranger tells Madimot, we're going to whip you into shape.  Madimot swings his whip around and asks them if they really want to tangle with him?  I'm Madimot, the baddest of the bad from the Sanzu River.  Green Ranger challenges Madimot.  Let's see if you can back up all that talk.  Madimot thinks having back up is a good idea.  He whips the ground and calls out, here kitty, kitty!  In the distance, dirt starts spraying out from beneath the ground.  Red Ranger recognizes the Tiger Zord when it emerges.  The Tiger Zord roars. Madimot asks the Rangers if they are surprised?!  When the earth cracked opened and you sealed Master Xandred in Netherworld, your Tiger Zord fell in the crevice too.  I tamed it and made it my pet kitty.  The Tiger Zord roars once more. Green Ranger is outrage that Madimot would refer to Tiger Zord as his pet.  Blue Ranger tells Red Ranger, we got to get him back.  Madimot tells them, his spell is too powerful, he is mine.  Madimot then casts another spell.  Red Ranger notices and instructs his team to duck.  Red Ranger pushes Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger to the ground.  Blue Ranger tells Green Ranger to get down.  Madimot blasts his spell ray at Green Ranger.  Blue Ranger pushes Green Ranger out of the way and is hit.  In a great deal of pain, Blue Ranger falls to his knees.  Green Ranger goes over to Blue Ranger to make sure he is okay.  Blue Ranger becomes angry and throws Green Ranger aside.  Pink Ranger hurries over to Green Ranger.  Green Ranger wonders what was that all about?  Red Ranger quickly concludes that Blue Ranger is in a trance.  Madimot boasts that he has gain a new pet.  Madimot gives the order to Blue Ranger to attack.  With his Spin Sword drawn, Blue Ranger races over to Green Ranger and Pink Ranger, ready to battle.  Green Ranger tries to stop Blue Ranger, but instead ends up clashing swords with him.  Pink Ranger joins in the battle and concludes Blue Ranger is under mind control.  Blue Ranger strikes Pink Ranger with his Spin Sword.  Yellow Ranger yells at Blue Ranger, to stop it!  Blue Ranger races over to battle Yellow Ranger and Red Ranger.  Red Ranger leaps over Blue Ranger.  Red Ranger races towards Madimot.  Madimot is eager to add Red Ranger to his pet collection and casts another spell ray.  Red Ranger quickly creates a symbol power that blocks the spell.  Red Ranger leaps into the air and strikes Madimot's shield with his Spin Sword.  Red Ranger and Madimot battle.  Red Ranger makes several powerful strikes against Madimot.  Madimot is knocked to the ground.  He becomes angry and tells Tiger Zord to chew them up.  Tiger Zord blows his breath towards Red Ranger.  Red Ranger leaps out of the way.  Blue Ranger knocks Yellow Ranger down with his Spin Sword.  Green Ranger and Pink Ranger race over to Yellow Ranger's side.  Yellow Ranger confesses she can't fight Kevin.  Blue Ranger launches his Dragon Splash on Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, and Pink Ranger.  The three Rangers are hit and land on the ground demorph.  Although still fighting Red Ranger, Madimot is delighted with Blue Ranger knocking out three Rangers and tells him good move.  Red Ranger sees his friends hurt.  Blue Ranger is about to strike again.  Red Ranger screams no!  Red Ranger pushes aside Madimot and leaps over to his friends.  Red Ranger states, we better blaze a trail out of here.  Red Ranger spins the disc on his sword and all four of them vanish. Emily, Mike, Jayden, and Mia enter Shiba House, battle worn.  Mentor Ji trails behind them. Mentor Ji tells them, this isn't good.  It's going to be very hard to break that monster's spell on the Tiger Zord and Kevin.  Jayden stands next to Mentor Ji and tells him, we need a plan.  Jayden sits down as Mentor Ji walks after him.  Mentor Ji warns Jayden to be prepare to make tough choices if need be.  Emily, Mike, and Mia watch and listen to them.  Jayden wants to try and break that Nighlok's spell on Kevin, before it gets to that.  Mentor Ji nods his head in agreement.  Emily, Mike, Mia, and Jayden are all worried. After awhile, at Shiba House, the gap sensor goes off once more.  Mentor Ji pulls up a map and looks at it when Emily, Mike, and Mia come running into the room.  They run over to Mentor Ji.  Mike asks, where's Jayden?  Mentor Ji replies, he's already gone to battle the Nighlok. Mike becomes very angry.  Are you kidding me?  What about Kevin?  Mentor Ji looks away.  Mike continues, the Nighlok will make him fight Jayden.  Mentor Ji is hopeful that won't happen.  Mentor Ji reminds them that it is their duty to protect the people.  He may have no choice.  Mike shouts, there's always a choice.  Mentor Ji tells Mike to have faith in his leader.  Mentor Ji turns around and looks at the gap sensor.  Mike stands by his shoulders, still upset at him and wanting to challenge him.  Mia walks up and tells Mike, we have to help Jayden.  Mia walks away and Emily comes forward.  She tells Mike, and hope Kevin comes to his senses.  Mike reluctantly leaves with Emily and Mia.  Soon Emily, Mike, and Mia race up as Jayden faces down Madimot.  They are ready to morph and Mike shouts out, Jayden, we're here to help!  Jayden tells them no.  I can't put anyone else at risk.  Jayden tells Madimot, you want a show.  I'll give you the show of your life, Nighlok.  Emily calls out, Jayden.  Mike and Mia are worried.  Madimot wishes he had some popcorn.  He jumps on top of construction equipment to watch.  Madimot gives Blue Ranger the command to attack.  Emily becomes very worried.  Blue Ranger pulls out his Spin Sword.  Jayden pulls out his Samuraizer and morphs.  Emily tells Mike and Mia, he won't hurt Kevin.  Mia only hopes Emily is right.  Red Ranger pulls out his Spin Sword.  Blue Ranger and Red Ranger face each other.  Mike can't believe this is happening. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger slowly circle each other.  Emily, Mike, and Mia watch.  Suddenly the two Rangers race towards each other and start fighting with their Spin Swords. Mike gets angry once more - what are you thinking?  That's Kevin!  Blue Ranger and Red Ranger continue to fight each other with their Spin Swords.  Emily, Mike, and Mia can only watch.  The battle goes throughout the construction site.  Emily screams, wake up Kev!  Mia screams, you can't fight Jayden!  But the two Rangers continue to fight each other.  As they fight, Red Ranger tries to talk to Kevin.  Come on Kevin, I know you're in there.  During the battle, sometimes Red Ranger gets knocked to the ground.  Other times it's Blue Ranger.  Blue Ranger uses Dragon Splash against Red Ranger.  A huge explosion occurs, but Red Ranger is okay.  Emily, Mike, and Mia are very uncomfortable watching the fight.  Mike comments, man, this is so uncool.  Mike then screams at them to stop!  Madimot has had enough of Emily, Mike, and Mia.  Madimot uses his shield to blast the three teens.  They are hit and fly through the air before hitting the ground.  Madimot declares, no talking during the show!  Emily, Mike, and Mia slowly try to get back up.  A stranger (Deker) walks towards them.  The stranger tells them, it looks like we have a winner.  Mike asks, who are you?  The stranger replies, it doesn't matter who I am.  What matters is who's winning.  Not the man in blue.  Mia is surprised and asks him, how can you tell?  The stranger replies, because he is fighting as if he is trying to win a training point rather than a real duel.  Blue Ranger and Red Ranger are still battling as the three teens and stranger talk.  The stranger continues, it's a whole lot different when you are fighting for survival.  You fight with instinct.  You have to watch your target like a hawk.  It's easy to get tired in a long battle with no one to say stop.  During the fight, Red Ranger kicks Blue Ranger to the ground.  Blue Ranger slowly gets back up.  The battle has moved and now Emily, Mike, Mia, and the stranger watch the battle from above.  The stranger continues to talk during the battle.  The Red Ranger has a good stance.  It's reduces arm fatigue.  He'll stay strong and when the Blue goes for the point, Red will see his opening and strike.  He's looking for a decisive blow.  That's the difference between these two.  Blue Ranger charges towards Red Ranger with his Spin Sword raised above his head.  Red Ranger tells him to come back to us, but Blue Ranger is still under the spell.  Their swords clash.  Red Ranger spins the disc on his Spin Sword and then strikes Blue Ranger.  Electrical currents run through Blue Ranger.  Kevin is in pain.  The spell leaves his body.  Madimot is upset - what have you done?  Blue!  My puppet!  Blue Ranger demorphs and Kevin falls to the ground.  Emily, Mike, and Mia race over to Kevin.  The stranger walks away.  Emily tries to wake up Kevin.  Kevin slowly wakes up and asks what happened? Mia tells him, now we have some work to do.  Emily, Mike, and Mia help Kevin up.  Madimot is furious - you had this planned all along!  Red Ranger explains.  When we fought in the forest, my resistance symbol protected me from your mind control ray.  We weren't sure if the resist disc would work on Kevin too, but I had to try.  I had no other choice.  Red Ranger apologizes to Kevin for risking fighting him.  But I had to get in a close enough position to use the disc.  Kevin is confused - fighting me?  Mia nods her head at him.  Red Ranger continues.  Since you are such a good fighter, it took me a lot longer to get close enough to you to use it.  Luckily it worked.  Kevin feels terrible.  He tells them, if you are up to it, I think it's time we battle someone who isn't on our team.  Red Ranger replies, you're on.  Emily, Mike, Kevin, and Mia pull out their Samuraizers and morph.  Madimot gives the command for Tiger Zord to crush them!  Tiger Zord bursts through the ground.  Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Pink Ranger race over to Red Ranger.  He tells them to take care of the Nighlok, he'll handle the Tiger Zord.  Red Ranger summons his Lion Zord and goes into mega mode.  Lion Zord goes off to face down Tiger Zord.  Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Pink Ranger battle Madimot.  Blue Ranger strikes Madimot with his Spin Sword.  Yellow Ranger is the first to notice the Tiger Zord is back and points it out to the rest of the Rangers.  Madimot is furious that they turn kitty against him too.  Madimot blasts Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Blue Ranger with his shield.  This doesn't stop the four Rangers and they charge at him with the four element strike.  Madimot hits the ground, declaring that's not fair!  You team up on me!  Madimot is defeated.  Within moments, Madimot is giant size.  Red Ranger welcomes Tiger Zord back. Tiger Zord charges towards Madimot.  Madimot uses it's shield to fire blasts at Tiger Zord.  Despite this, Tiger Zord strikes Madimot hard.  Tiger Zord then creates a crevice in the ground.  Madimot falls into the crevice.  Madimot is outrage - this can't be happening to me!  I'm the baddest of the bad!  Yellow Ranger suggests to the rest of the Rangers they help Jayden.  Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Pink Ranger summon their folding zords.  When the zords arrive, the four Rangers immediately leap inside them.  Ape Zord, Bear Zord, Dragon Zord, and Turtle Zord hurry to help Red Ranger.  Samurai Megazord is formed.  Samurai Megazord walks over to Tiger Zord.  Then Tiger Drill Megazord is formed.  Madimot manages to climb out of the crevice.  Tiger Drill Megazord and Madimot battle.  Madimot uses it's shield to blast Tiger Drill Megazord several times.  Red Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, he thinks they can break the shield with the tiger drill.  Red Ranger shouts out, Tiger Drill Charge!  With all four drills going at full blast, Tiger Drill Megazord charges towards Madimot.  Tiger Drill Megazord hits the shield and it's destroyed, along with Madimot.  Madimot protests till the end, I can't be beat, I'm the baddest of the bad!  After the battle, the teens return to Shiba House.  Emily, Mike, and Mia are sitting around a board game, using their folding zords as pieces.  Mia gets very excited when she gets double sixes and hollers with delight.  Kevin and Jayden are sitting apart from their friends.  After the game ends, Mia calls over to them, telling them they are starting a new game and asking them to join. Kevin and Jayden get up and walk over to their friends.  Kevin tells them, alright, but I'm blue as he pulls out his folding zord.  He tosses the folding zord onto the game board.  Mike tells him, yeah, I think we all agree you are the best one to control that.  Kevin asks for the dice and Mike passes them on.  Emily points out he needs to take a card first.  Mia passes a card to Jayden and they all settle in for a fun game. 

Emily and her friends were sitting around a table.  The table had a runner with three discs placed on it.  Mentor Ji had taken a book from a bookcase and brought it over to the group.  Mentor Ji:  Now that we've recovered three of the lost discs, we have a new power at our disposal.  Jayden:  Beetle.  Swordfish.  Tiger.  Together these three discs allow us to form the Samurai Beetle Wing.  Mentor Ji opened up the book and displayed the drawing of the Samurai Beetle Wing.  Mike:  Wow.  That looks like one powerful bird.  Mentor Ji:  Yes, thanks to these discs.  So each one has to go to the person we believe is truly ready to help pilot the battle wing.  Jayden:  I'll keep the Tiger Zord.  Mentor Ji:  The Swordfish goes to Kevin, who caught it and therefore has a connection with it.  Jayden got up and passed the Swordfish disc to Kevin.  Kevin was delighted.  Mentor Ji:  We've decided that the Beetle...Jayden:  Should go to Mia.  Mia:  Me?  Only Emily noticed how upset Mike was.  Mentor Ji:  We trust your control and your symbol power the most and we know you will do the difficult work that's needed, to master this disc. Jayden:  We're counting on you.  Mia:  Thank you.  I won't let you down.  After the meeting, Emily, Kevin, Mia, Jayden, and Mentor Ji were in the kitchen/dining area.  Mia was sitting at a table with her plate.  Emily and Kevin were preparing their plates.  Mike was out in the courtyard practicing with his Spin Sword.  Kevin:  Wow!  What's come over Mike?  I'm not use to seeing him train so hard.  Kevin went and sat at the table with Mia.  Emily carried her plate over to the table as well.  Emily:  He's actually been working really hard on his symbol power lately.  I think he wanted that disc bad.  Mia:  I know.  I kind of feel bad taking it instead of him.  Mentor Ji:  Don't feel bad.  Your hard work is one of the reasons we've chosen you.  I told Mike he needs to work just as hard.  Emily:  But he's been trying.  Mentor Ji:  Yes, and I believe he has it in him, but until he learns to listen, he isn't ready.  Later, there was a Nighlok attack in the city.  Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers arrived and were surprised to see several citizens sad and dejected.  Red Ranger:  Hey, what is all this?  Green Ranger:  Everyone is so gloomy.  It's like they've all become Kevin.  Blue Ranger:  What?  Yellow Ranger:  Look!  Desperaino leaps in front of them.  Desperaino:  Isn't it wonderful?  Such delicious depths of despair from my rain.  They're so lucky.  They get to experience the purest, the cruelest, the loveliest misery of all, the loss of hope.  Yellow Ranger:  That's horrible.  Desperaino:  Yes, isn't it?!  Pink Ranger:  We got to get rid of this guy fast!  Green Ranger:  Oh, we will!  Desperaino:  Ewww, what an ugly, little sunny outlook you have.  Especially when the forecast calls for rain, my rain of pain.  Red Ranger:  Not going to happen, Nighlok.  Let's go!  Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers pull out their Spin Swords and charge towards Desperaino.  Desperaino:  Enough talking about the weather.  Instead of rain, I'll just cut straight to the pain.  Desperaino uses his weapon and blasts Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers.  Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers are hit and land on the pavement hard.  Desperaino:  So, did that feel so delightfully bad?  Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers get back up.  Blue Ranger:  Mia, we have to use the new discs.  Blue Ranger places the Swordfish disc onto his Hydro Bow.  Pink Ranger pulls out the Beetle disc and holds it in her hand.  Pink Ranger:  Right!  Desperaino:  No!  Wrong as rain!  Desperaino uses his weapon again and it hits the Beetle disc.  The Beetle disc goes flying through the air.  Green Ranger leaps up and catches it.  Pink Ranger runs over to Green Ranger.  Pink Ranger:  Wow, good catch.  Pink Ranger holds out her hand for the disc, but Green Ranger keeps it and places it on his Forest Spear.  Pink Ranger:  What are you doing?  Blue Ranger runs up to the two.  Blue Ranger:  Mike, stop!  You're not ready!  Desperaino:  This is no fun.  I'll come back to fight when you're not fighting yourselves.  Desperaino uses the propeller on the top of his head and flies up into the sky.  Red Ranger:  Guys, stop it!  Get him now!  Blue Ranger and Green Ranger race forward.  Blue Ranger:  Mike, come on!  Blue Ranger fires his Hydro Bow several times, but Green Ranger cannot make his Forest Spear work.  Green Ranger:  Why isn't it working?  Desperaino:  It must make you sad to be so lame.  Desperaino flies away.  Blue Ranger is very frustrated.  Blue Ranger:  Mike, what were you thinking?!  Green Ranger:  I just wanted to...to help.  Emily and her friends return to Shiba House.  Emily and Mia sit together.  Mike is sitting way in front.  Kevin and Jayden are standing.  Mentor Ji is furious.  Mentor Ji circles around Mike as he talks to him.  Mentor Ji:  Mike, I am so disappointed.  Putting yourself before the needs of the team, places all of you in serious danger.  Here I thought you were finally listening to me and training hard to strengthen the team.  I can't believe it's come to this, but you've become a risk to the others.  I'll have to ask you to turn over your Samuraizer.  Mike:  What?!  You're benching me!  Mentor Ji:  It pains me to say it, but I don't think you're truly ready to become a samurai.  Mike stands up in anger.  Mike:  I'm tired of your lectures!  You don't know a thing about me and if I'm not ready, how can I do this?  Mike creates a symbol power.  It makes the plant behind Mentor Ji grow a long and strong leaf that reaches out and pulls on Mentor Ji's stick.  Mentor Ji struggles to hold onto the stick.  Mentor Ji:  Stop this.  Emily, Kevin, Mia, and Jayden step forward.  Mia:  Mike stop!  Jayden walks right up to Mike and stares at him intensely.  Jayden:  Okay, that's enough.  The planter behind Mentor Ji shatters onto the floor.  Mike:  None of you understand.  I'm out of here.  Mike walks out, leaving his Samuraizer behind.  Emily:  Mentor, are you okay?  Mentor Ji:  I'm fine.  Afterwards, Emily, Kevin, and Mia are sitting outside.  Kevin:  I just don't get why Mike was acting so childish.  Mia:   To be honest, I think they both kind of were.  Kevin:  Mentor wasn't childish.  He's got every reason to be frustrated.  Emily:  Okay, Mike made a mistake, but it really hurt him to be left out.  Kevin:  I realize that, but they had to choose the best person for the job.  Mia:  Sure, but if you ask me, Mike has more than enough symbol power to handle the Beetle disc.  Emily:  So, why did Mentor pick you over him?  Mia:  He just made a choice.  Doesn't mean it was the right one.  Later, Desperaino is back in the city.  Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Red Ranger have been battling him.  Blue Ranger fires his Hydro Bow at Desperaino.  Desperaino jumps up into the sky to avoid being hit.  Yellow Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Red Ranger have their Spin Swords drawn.  Desperaino taunts the four Rangers that they can't even come close to defeating him while he is flying.  Desperaino blasts the four Rangers with his weapon.  Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Red Ranger are hit and land on the pavement hard.  Red Ranger states he can't move.  Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Pink Ranger struggle to get up, but they can't.  Desperaino calls them fools.  Desperaino is about to fire his weapon again when Mike comes running up.  Mike quickly morphs.  Yellow Ranger calls out encouragement to him.  Green Ranger remembers what Mentor Ji told him in the forest.  Green Ranger transforms his Spin Sword into his Forest Spear.  Green Ranger runs towards Desperaino.  Desperaino uses his weapon to fire several times at Green Ranger, but Green Ranger is never hit.  Green Ranger uses his Forest Spear to launch up into the sky.  Desperaino is taken aback.  Once in the sky, Green Ranger transforms the Forest Spear back into his Spin Sword and fires it at Desperaino with a tree symbol strike.  Desperaino is knocked out of the sky and crashes back down on the pavement.  Green Ranger lands gently back onto the pavement.  Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger race over to him.  Yellow Ranger tells him that was incredible.  Blue Ranger wants to know where did he get symbol power like that?  Green Ranger replies, he's always had it.  He just needed some help finding it.  Pink Ranger is the first to notice Desperaino is back and in mega monster mode.  Red Ranger warns the rest of the Rangers to not celebrate yet.  Desperaino tells them this is the calm before the real storm.  The Rangers summon their folding zords and leap inside them.  The Samurai Megazord is quickly formed.  Desperaino tells them he would be impressed, if that would do you any good.  But even now, you're no match for me.  Desperaino floats back up into the sky.  Green Ranger can't believe it will be another aerial attack.  Desperaino fires his weapon at Samurai Megazord.  The Samurai Megazord is hit a couple of times.  Red Ranger states, we just can't let him take shots from above us.  Red Ranger thinks it's risky, but it's time to try the Battle Wing combination.  Blue Ranger is ready and pulls out the Swordfish disc.  Red Ranger snaps down the Tiger disc.  Pink Ranger pulls out the Beetle disc and tells Green Ranger to take it.  Green Ranger is surprised.  Pink Ranger tells him, from what I've seen of your symbol power, you'll use it better than me.  Green Ranger tells Pink Ranger she is a true friend as he takes the Beetle disc.  Swordfish Zord, Tiger Zord, and Beetle Zord are summon.  The three zords race towards Desperaino.  Blue Ranger enters Swordfish Zord.  Red Ranger enters Tiger Zord, and Green Ranger enters Beetle Zord.  Red Ranger gives the command for the three zords to combine.  Samurai Battlewing is formed.  Desperaino is surprised to see they have turned into a bird.  He tells them, you would be wise to fly away, bird brains.  Desperaino fires his weapon at Samurai Battlewing.  Despite himself, Desperaino is impressed with how quickly Samurai Battlewing avoids his blasts.  Samurai Battlewing and Desperaino fly towards each other and Samurai Battlewing lands a blow on Desperaino.  Desperaino goes after Samurai Battlewing, firing his weapon and missing.  Desperaino accidentally bumps into a building.  Red Ranger gives the command for the vortex spin!  Red Ranger has Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger fire at Desperaino with their zords.  Desperaino is hit.  Samurai Battlewing then uses the vortex spin to strike Desperaino.  Desperaino's propeller on top of his head is knocked off.  Samurai Battlewing uses charging flash for another strike.  As Desperaino falls towards the ground, he is hit and destroyed.  After the battle, they all return back to the base.  Mentor Ji enters Shiba House, with Emily and Jayden.  Mentor Ji pauses for a moment and asks, what's this?  He glances around, but no one says anything.  Mentor Ji walks towards Kevin, Mia, and Mike.  Mike has something hidden behind his back.  Mike tells Mentor Ji, it's a little something to say thanks and to let you know I'll be listening.  Mike presents the plant he had hidden.  Mentor Ji tells Mike, as will I, as he takes the plant with a smile.  Mike pulls out his Samuraizer and creates a power symbol and hits it towards the plant.  One of the leaves begins to stretch.  Mia becomes alarmed and asks Mike what he is doing?  Mentor Ji is not alarmed and watches the plant in amazement as several more leaves begins to grow and stretch.  Kevin becomes exasperated, not again!  Mike doesn't understand what all the concern is about.  Mike makes a fist and the plant does the same.  Mentor Ji pounds fists with the plant.  Mentor Ji laughs and everyone else grins.

The gap sensor goes off.  Emily and her friends race out of Shiba House.  They used their Samuraizer to morph and race out of the gates.  Giant size Moogers and normal size Moogers are attacking the city.  Yellow Ranger clears a path of Moogers to get to a citizen.  She kneels by the citizen.  Yellow Ranger:  Time to clear out of here and get somewhere safe.  Citizen:  Sounds good to me!  The citizen takes off running.  Soon Yellow Ranger is joined by Pink Ranger and they battled numerous Moogers with their Spin Swords.  Yellow Ranger:  Sure hope the guys show up soon.  Pink Ranger:  Me too.  After awhile, Pink Ranger spots Tiger Zord, Beetle Zord, and Swordfish Zord.  Pink Ranger:  Look, there they are.  As Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger continue their battle with the normal size Moogers.  The guys battle and destroy the giant size Moogers with the Samurai Battlewing.  On the ground, Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger continue their difficult battle.  Yellow Ranger:  Gosh, these creeps never get tired.  Pink Ranger:  Yeah, this isn't looking good.  Suddenly Red Ranger leaps in with his Spin Sword.  Yellow Ranger:  Jayden!  Blue Ranger and Green Ranger arrive.  Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers form a circle and face the endless Moogers.  Yellow Ranger:  Man, are we glad to see you guys.  Green Ranger:  Wow!  There's a whole lot of ugly here.  Red Ranger:  Yupe.  Time to change this picture.  Red Ranger places a disc on his Spin Sword.  Red Ranger:  Spin Sword!  Blazing Strike!  Several Moogers are destroyed.  Blue Ranger:  Spin Sword!  Dragon Splash!  Blue Ranger destroys several more Moogers.  Pink Ranger:  Spin Sword!  Air Wave!  Yet more Moogers are destroyed.  Green Ranger:  Spin Sword!  Forest Vortex!  Green Ranger destroys more Moogers.  Yellow Ranger:  Spin Sword!  Seismic Quake!  The remaining Moogers are destroyed.  Unfortunately more Moogers seeps out of gap.  Green Ranger:  What?  There's more!  Pink Ranger:  They're like roaches.  Blue Ranger:  Then we have to be the exterminators.  Yellow Ranger and the rest of the Rangers battle the new batch of Moogers with their Spin Swords.  Green Ranger is battling a Mooger.  Green Ranger:  Man, you Moogers just don't quit.  The Mooger becomes distracted.  Green Ranger:  Hun?  The Mooger knocks Green Ranger to the ground and walks towards Red Ranger.  Green Ranger:  Hey, what gives?  Another Mooger has Pink Ranger in a hold when he suddenly lets go of her and walks towards Red Ranger.  Pink Ranger:  What?  Guys they want Jayden!  Blue Ranger:  What are you doing cowards!  Come back and fight.  Red Ranger has been battling several Moogers and he notices they are all headed towards him.  Red Ranger:  What's gong on?  They all hear a strange voice chanting.  From a gap, Master Xandred is chanting.  Master Xandred:  Red Ranger.  Red Ranger.  Red Ranger.  Red Ranger recognizes the voice and whispers to himself.  Red Ranger:  Master Xandred.  Green Ranger:  Hey, check it out!  That weird voice is putting these Moogers into a trance. The four Rangers leap in the battle and form a protective circle around Red Ranger.  But it is not enough.  Red Ranger wants to try a new symbol power that he has been working on.  He takes Yellow Ranger's Spin Sword and uses it and his to create the new symbol power.  It destroys the Moogers.  From the gap, Master Xandred tells Red Ranger he is in danger and laughs. Red Ranger demorphs as he walks over to the gap, where Master Xandred had spoke.  The rest of the Rangers demorph as well.  Mike wants to know who the voice belong to.  Emily had never heard anything so evil.  Mia knows it wasn't a normal Nighlok.  Jayden tells his friends he thinks that was Master Xandred.  Emily, Mia, Mike, and Kevin are stunned.  Kevin can't believe Master Xandred is back.  Mike wants to know why he would call out, Red Ranger, Red Ranger.  Why just you?  Jayden doesn't have an answer for him. The teens return to Shiba house.  Mentor Ji is there as well.  Kevin asks why the Moogers were only after Jayden?  Mentor Ji tells Jayden, Master Xandred must know.  Mike doesn't like the fact they are keeping secrets from the rest of them.  Mentor Ji informs them that there is a secret symbol that can create a seal.  The previous Red Ranger used it to imprison Master Xandred.  When Master Xandred last attacked us, it was a surprise.  And we were nearly defeated. That symbol is how Jayden's father was able to seal Xandred away.  Mike concludes that means it's Jayden now.  Mentor Ji continues, only members of the Red Ranger Shiba family can use the seal.  Mike tells Jayden, guess that means you really are the man.  Emily adds Jayden's father did everything he could to save us.  It becomes too much for Jayden and he walks out.  Mike wants to know what's the big deal?  Jayden just has to use his special Shiba family symbol power to seal Master X.  Mentor Ji tells him, it's not that simple.  It takes unbelievable symbol power to make the seal permanent. Emily, Mia, Mike, and Kevin are out in the courtyard, training.  Mike is very optimistic.  He tells his friends, Jayden just has to master the symbol and Master Xandred will be old news.  Mia points out the last Red Ranger couldn't master the seal.  Kevin adds and the Red Ranger before couldn't master it as well.  No Ranger has.  Emily is confident that Jayden will master it.  He has too.  It's his destiny.  Kevin agrees.  Kevin tells his friends, we have to protect Jayden.  It's our number one mission.  Emily, Mia, and Mike agree.  They are unaware that Jayden is about to step out when he overhears their conversation.  Kevin tells his friends, if we work as a team, we can protect Jayden from anything.  Emily adds, now I see it.  That's why we have been training our whole lives.  Jayden becomes upset and steps outside.  He tells them, no.  It's not necessary.  Jayden picks up a stick and tells them to protect themselves.  It's business as usual.  Stay focus on the battle at hand, as a team.  Kevin insists that they have to protect Jayden.  Jayden yells no!  That's just too much of a burden to bear.  Jayden starts working out with the stick.  Emily, Mia, Kevin, and Mike watch him, uncertain.  The gap sensor goes off and they all take off. The teens arrive where they believe the Nighlok is.  Mike soon spots Robtish and they race forward. Robtish asks which one of you is the Red Ranger?  Jayden steps forward a couple of paces.  Robtish announces he has to destroy him.  Jayden shouts back, I'll show you who's going to be sorry.  Mia whispers to Kevin that Master Xandred must know that Jayden has the sealing power.  Jayden walks towards Robtish.  Kevin and Mike catch up with him and grab his arms to stop him.  Kevin tells him this is too dangerous.  This is exactly the type of battle you should avoid.  Let us do our duty and protect you.  Jayden shakes them off and races forward to morph.  Robtish tries to blast Jayden, but misses.  Red Ranger leaps towards Robtish with his Spin Sword drawn.  Red Ranger and Robtish immediately fight, trying to strike each other with their swords.  Emily, Mia, Kevin, and Mike watch the battle.  Mia wonders why Jayden won't listen.  Kevin has no idea, but wants to help his friend.  Emily, Mia, Kevin, and Mike morph.  With their Spin Swords drawn, the four Rangers race forward.  Several Moogers arrive.  Yellow Ranger, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Green Ranger are kept busy battling the Moogers with their Spin Swords.  With the battles going on, no one notices that Deker has arrived.  The rest of the Rangers want to help Red Ranger, but they are battling the Moogers.  Blue Ranger notices Red Ranger is in trouble and becomes alarmed.  Blue Ranger alerts the rest of the Rangers to what is happening, as they continue to battle the Moogers.  Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger race over to Red Ranger.  Pink Ranger and Green Ranger continue battling the Moogers.  Robtish hits Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger with his double slash.  Numerous explosions erupt as Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger are hit.  Emily and Kevin demorph and fall to the ground. They are badly hurt and can no longer continue.  Eventually Deker also leaps into the battle.  Robtish retreats as he is drying out.  Deker retreats as well, as he wants Red Ranger at full strength for their duel.  Emily and Kevin are groaning in pain.  Mia runs over to them, followed by Mike.  Mike pulls out his Samuraizer and contacts Mentor Ji, telling him, we need help.  Kevin and Emily are beat up.  Red Ranger demorphs.  Mia tells Emily to hold on.  Jayden stares at his friends for a moment and then runs over to them.  They managed to get back to Shiba House.  Mia makes sure Emily and Kevin are comfortable in their beds.
