Page Four

It's breakfast time.  Emily stands up as she eats her breakfast.  Jayden is sitting a little apart from the rest as he eats his cereal.  Kevin and Mike are sitting next to each other as they have their breakfast.  Emily, Jayden, and Mike pause as they watch Kevin carefully and precisely make himself a bowl of cereal.  Mike:  What are you doing?  Just eat already!  Kevin:  There's a right way to do everything, within the samurai code.  Mike:  Wow.  You're so wound up, I'm surprised you can digest your food.  Mia walks in with a covered platter.  Mia:  I came up with a new recipe.  Mia places the platter on the table in front of Kevin and Mike.  Mia:  Everybody loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, right?  So for breakfast, what could be better than a PBJ omelet.  Mia removes the cover and the omelet looks very gross.  Kevin, Emily, and Mike make discreet faces at the dish.  Mike:  Darn, I'm stuffed, I just ate.  Rain check?  Kevin, not ready to eat another of Mia's recipes, quickly picks up the rest of the items for his cereal and pours it into the bowl.  He starts eating quickly.  Mike looks at him.  Mike:  Precision and discipline, hun?  Mentor Ji excitedly walks into the room.  Mentor Ji:  Everyone, I have excellent news.  The missing Swordfish Zord has been spotted at Limatal Beach.  Mia:  A swordfish?  Mentor Ji:  A zord that went missing in action years ago.  If we don't catch it now, who knows when we'll get another chance.  The gap sensor goes off.  Mentor Ji:  A Nighlok attack.  Jayden thinks for a moment.  Jayden:  Kevin!  Kevin stands up.  Jayden:  Yes.  Jayden:  We'll take care of the Nighlok.  I want you to go catch that Swordfish Zord.  Are you up for a solo mission? Kevin:  Up for it?  I've been waiting my whole life for it.  Jayden:  With your mastery of symbol power over water, I'm confident you'll capture that zord.  Kevin races out of the Shiba House and enters a black SUV that drives him to the beach.  Kevin pulls out a disc and stares at it.  Kevin:  I'm ready for this.  Kevin looks out the window.  Kevin is dropped off at the beach.  He climbs over the rocky terrain until he reaches the beach.  Kevin stares at the ocean for a moment.  Kevin:  If dad could see me now.  Kevin remembers what his father had told him.  Kevin's Dad:  Our family has been serving the samurai for many generations.  You've always trained with discipline and honor, knowing that it is your destiny to join the Power Rangers.  Kevin returned to the present.  Kevin:  This is what all the hard work all those years have been for.  I won't go back without the Swordfish Zord.
