Page Nine

Kevin pokes his head out of one the doors.  He looked around and then closed the door.  Kevin had a tray of food as he turned and faced the room.  Kevin:  "This is going to be tough to pull off."  Mia walked passed Kevin with a box full of paper garlands.  Mia:  "Have a little faith Kev.  Once we get this stuff ready, all we have to do is hide it."  Mike was working on a Happy Birthday sign for Emily.  Mike:  "Tomorrow's going to be great.  It's Emily's first birthday without her sister.  But it's so cool we're doing something special for her."  All three heard a knocking sound and became alarmed as they stared at the door.  The door opened, it was Jayden.  Mia and Kevin were very relieved.  Mike teased them.  Mike:  "You should have seen your faces.  It looked like Master Xandred was at the door."  Kevin:  "Ha! Ha! We just didn't want Emily to find us."  Jayden:  "The coast is clear.  Emily went outside.  What about the cake?"  Mia confided in them with a conspirator tone.  Mia:  "I've got all the ingredients for an awesome cake.  I just need to bake it without her noticing."  Mike, Kevin, Jayden:  "No!!!"  Mia was taken aback.  Kevin:  "I mean we don't want to risk it  Antonio already ordered the cake from the bakery."  Mike, Jayden, and Kevin all put fake smiles on their faces.  Mia accepted their explanation with grace.  Mia:  "Oh, okay."  Later, in Panorama City, there was a Nighlok attack.  Jayden contacted Antonio and all the Samurai Rangers arrived in the city as Splitface continued his attacked by taking the spirits of the citizens.  Green Ranger and the rest of the Rangers used their Spin Sword (Gold Ranger his Barracuda Blade) to fire at Splitface and struck him from behind.  Splitface fell to the pavement and rolled several times.  Red Ranger:  "Snack time is over for you, Nighlok."  Splitface:  "The Samurai Rangers?!"  Gold Ranger:  "You're done!"  Green Ranger and Gold Ranger charged towards Splitface with their weapons drawn.  Splitface:  "Body swarm!"  His body breaks out into dozens of pieces and the two Rangers are unable to strike Splitface and instead the pieces hit them.  Green Ranger:  "Whoa!  It's like dodge ball with teeth."   Then the pieces go after the remaining four Rangers and strikes them several times.   Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Red Ranger try to use their Spin Swords against Splitface while Blue Ranger uses his Hydro Bow, but it does no good.  Yellow Ranger is hit hard and knocked to the pavement.  Splitface:  "Hmmm, you'll make a fine dessert."  Yellow Ranger:  "Wait!  No!"  Splitface held out one of his arms and takes her spirit.  Yellow Ranger demorphs and hits the pavement.  Red Ranger & Pink Ranger:  "Emily!"  Pink Ranger runs over to Emily's still form while Red Ranger runs over to face down Splitface.  Red Ranger:  "What did you do to her?!"  Red Ranger battles Splitface with his Spin Sword.  Splitface breaks into pieces once more and the pieces hit Red Ranger.  Pink Ranger:  "Emily!"  Pink Ranger cradles Emily in her arms.  Pink Ranger:  "Emily are you okay?"  Pink Ranger gets no response.  Pink Ranger:  "Wake up!"  Green Ranger and Gold Ranger are on one side of Splitface while Blue Ranger and Red Ranger are on the other side.  Splitface"  "Hmmmm mmmm.  I have to say it, her spirit was delicious and in twenty-four hours it'll be mine forever."  Green Ranger:  "What?"  Blue Ranger:  "Forever?"  Splitface:  "Of course, if you defeat me, you can have all their spirits back.  But you won't have the chance because I'm heading back to the Netherworld where no mortal can follow."  Red Ranger:  "What?"  Pink Ranger:  "Guys, we got to stop this creep."  Splitface:  "All of you try to enjoy your one last day with your friend.  Because I'm leaving and I won't be coming back."  Red Ranger:  "No!  We won't let that happen!"  Splitface starts to walk away.  Green Ranger and Blue Ranger chase after him with their Spin Swords.  Once more Splitface breaks apart before the two Rangers can strike.  Green Ranger and Blue Ranger are hit several times and fall to the pavement.  Splitface reassembles to land another strike.  Gold Ranger blocks the blow with his Barracuda Blade.  Gold Ranger tells Splitface it's time to take you out.  Red Ranger leaps in with his Spin Sword to help.  Splitface calls out body swarm, breaks apart, and strikes the two Rangers several times.  Splitface reassembles quite a distance from them.  He calls out, have a nice day and then walks into the gap.  Blue Ranger wonders what do they do now?  Pink Ranger feels really bad for Emily.  The sun is already setting.  By this time tomorrow, she may never wake up.  Gold Ranger glances over at the gap.  Emily is taken back to Shiba House and placed in bed.  Mike sits on one side as Mia sits on the other.  Mentor Ji stands at the foot of the bed.  Kevin is standing close by.  Mentor Ji tells them, fifty-four people, including Emily, have had their spirit stolen.  Official hospital reports say the patients are resting comfortably.  But we know better.  Kevin steps forward.  Kevin can't believe by tomorrow night, Emily and all those people could stay asleep forever.  We have to defeat that Nighlok before that happens!  Jayden joins their group.  Mia points out, but he said he won't leave the Netherworld.  What can we do?    Mike replies, we have to do something.  No matter what it takes.  We have to save her.  Kevin, Jayden, and Mentor Ji walked out of the room.  The next morning, Mia wipes Emily's forehead with a damp cloth.  Mike and Mia are still keeping a careful watch over her.  Emily starts to wake up.  Mike hollers that Emily is awake.  Kevin, Jayden, and Mentor Ji rush into the room.  Mike and Mia help prop Emily up.  Emily apologizes to them.  I let him get me.  Mike tells her, don't be silly.  We're just glad you are okay.  Mike hands her a glass of water.  Emily tells them, thanks for putting on the brave face for me.  But I know I'm not okay.  I feel empty.  Mia tells her not to worry.  We will figure it out.  Jayden kneels by Emily's bed and tells her we're not going to let you down.  We'll save you.  Just hold on until then.  Emily falls back asleep.  Mia gets upset, oh no!  She's falling back asleep!  Mike shouts Emily's name, but gets no response.  He gets angry and races out of the room.  Mike enters the city and angrily strikes the gap with his Spin Sword.  Mia and Kevin run up to him.  Kevin grabs a hold of his arms and yanks him away from the gap as Mia tells him to calm down.  That won't do anything.  Mike feels defeated and asks his friends, then what should we do?  Tell me what should we do?  Mia and Kevin don't have an answer for him.  Jayden comes running up.  He stops in his tracks as Deker appears.  Deker states, it seems I have bad timing.  I thought we could finally duel, but you are obviously preoccupied.  Jayden replies, if you know that, then go away.  Jayden joins his friends and tells Deker, I don't have time for your games, stranger.  Deker tells them, there is one way humans like you can enter the Netherworld.  This catches their attention.  Mike asks really?  Deker tells them, simply trade your human existence to become a Nighlok.  Willingly give yourself over to them and pass through the gap.  Jayden can't believe it.  Wait!  Are you saying you made that choice?  Deker replies, I don't remember how it happened to me.  But I'm living proof it can be done.  Deker transforms into his Nighlok form.  He continues, I welcome you to do it.  You can then fight in ways no human being can.  It will make our impending duel even more glorious.  Deker leaps up and away from them.  Mia is uncertain.  Become a Nighlok? Mike, Mia, Kevin, and Jayden face the gap and stare at it.  Mike tells his friends, I'll do it.  Jayden points out that it's their mission to save the entire world.  You can't just....Mike tells Jayden that he can stay behind.  Emily's the best of us.  She has the sweetest, most caring spirit.  And I won't let that Nighlok keep it.  Kevin tells Mike, I know how much you care about Emily.  We all do.  But remember it's our duty to protect and save the many.  Mike doesn't care.  What I want to save right now is Emily!  And I'll do whatever it takes.  Mia reminds them that they need to save all those poor people in the hospital.  Mia volunteers to go with Mike.  Jayden tells them no, we're a team.  We'll all go.  They nod their heads in agreement and head towards the gap.  Antonio shouts, wait!  Stop!  Antonio tells them that Mentor Ji told him they were here.  Antonio excitedly tells them, I think I may be able to draw that Nighlok back through the gap.  Mike wants to know how?  Antonio answers, it will take a lot of symbol power.  He walks back to his cart and lifts the lid.  Clawzord pops out.  Antonio concludes, and the Clawzord.  Antonio programs the live symbol into his morpher. Mike, Mia, Kevin, and Jayden have their Spin Swords ready.  They all give the command symbol power live!  The symbols hit Clawzord and he grows bigger.  Antonio tells his friends, again!  All five repeat the process and Clawzord gets even larger.  Antonio yells more!  We need more symbol power to fully activate!  Once more the teens strike Clawzord with the symbol power live.  Clawzord gets even bigger.  Mike, Mia, Kevin, Antonio, and Jayden continue to use the power symbol live on Clawzord.  Clawzord becomes very big.  After a few moments, Splitface comes back through the gap, flies towards Clawzord.  Clawzord strikes Splitface and he hits a wall and lands on the pavement.  Splitface asks, what's going on?  Splitface glances at Clawzord and asks what is that?  Antonio answers, my buddy Clawzord.  And he's new in town.  Splitface is confused, but I was in the Netherworld.  How did you get me here?  Antonio answers once more.  It's simple.  When we came in contact, I marked you with a symbol.  The same symbol I've been working with to program the Clawzord.  Splitface is stunned.  What?!  You marked me!  Antonio replies, yeah, and after I finished programming Clawzord, I just needed the other Rangers to help me activate it.  Once we did that, I knew you would be drawn out of the Netherworld just like a magnet.  And it worked like a charm.  Splitface is outrage.  I refuse to believe you can beat me like this.  No! No! No!  Mike tells him to shut up.  You're going to pay for what you did to Emily.  Mia adds, it's time to end this.  Kevin tells Splitface, we're going to take back every spirit you have stolen.  Jayden concludes, enough talk and pulls out his Samuraizer.  Antonio pulls out his morpher and declares, it's time to light you up!  Splitface prepares to blast them.  Mike, Mia, Kevin, Antonio, and Jayden morph.  The Rangers leap through the blast.  Gold Ranger uses his Barracuda Blade against Splitface.  Splitface calls out body swarm, but nothing happens.  Splitface is knocked to the ground.  He wonders why he can't do the body swarm.  Gold Ranger tells him to get with the program.  You've been marked.  Splitface tells the Rangers he is marking all of them for demolition.  Green Ranger tells Splitface it's time to pay.  Splitface replies, no it's not.  Splitface leaps away.  Blue Ranger declares you won't get away this time!  Blue Ranger uses his Hydro Bow against Splitface.  Pink Ranger uses her Sky Fan.  Both weapons hit Splitface and knocked him back down to the pavement.  Green Ranger charges with his Forest Spear and strikes Splitface with it.  Red Ranger charges towards Splitface with his Fire Smasher and strikes Splitface with it.  Splitface is knocked to the ground.  The Rangers are thrilled, but the moment doesn't last long.  Splitface goes into mega monster mode.  Pink Ranger notes without Emily, they can't combine into a Megazord.  Gold Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, leave it to me.  Clawzord and I will close this deal.  Gold Ranger goes into mega mode power and enters Clawzord.  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Red Ranger watch the battle from below.  Clawzord charges towards Splitface.  Splitface uses it's eyes to try and blast Clawzord, but Clawzord keeps coming.  Gold Ranger decides it's time to use the pincher claws.  Clawzord, with it's pincher claws, strikes Splitface several times.  Clawzord then grabs a hold of Splitface and holds him up in the air before tossing him.  Splitface crashes down, but soon gets back up.  Splitface declares, enough fooling around!  Splitface summons several giant Moogers.  Clawzord uses it's claw spinners to battle the giant Moogers.  Gold Ranger calls for Clawzord's transformation.  Clawzord forms into Claw Battlezord East.  The giant Moogers charges towards Claw Battlezord East and strike it with their spears.  Claw Battlezord East grabs a hold of two Moogers and yanks them away.  The two Moogers hit the ground.  Other Moogers aim their arrows at it.  Gold Ranger changes the formation to Claw Battlezord West.  The four Moogers fire their arrows.  Claw Battlezord West bats the arrows way.  Soon the four Moogers have Claw Battlezord West trapped within their spears.  Red Ranger notes that Antonio needs their help.  Green Ranger summons Bear zord, Blue Ranger summons Dragon zord, and Red Ranger summons Lion zord, so that they can go into mega mode.  The three Rangers leap into their zords and then summon Beetle zord, Swordfish zord, and Tiger zord.  Beetle zord, Swordfish zord, and Tiger zord form into Samurai Battlewing.  Samurai Battlewing fires at the Moogers.  Claw Battlezord West manages to break free.  Gold Ranger shouts thanks as Samurai Battlewing flies away.  Gold Ranger has Clawzord transform into Claw Battlezord South.  Splitface does not like all the changes.  Claw Battlezord South battles and defeats the Moogers.  Claw Battlezord South then battles Splitface with it's swords.  Claw Battlezord South knocks Splitface away and then strikes Splitface twice.  Splitface is not about to give up.  Claw Battlezord East is formed again.  Gold Ranger calls for the claw pincher slash.  Splitface is hit and this time destroyed.  Immediately the spirits are released.  Later that evening, Mike, Kevin, Jayden, Antonio, and Mentor Ji stay hidden in the room decked out for Emily's birthday.  Soon Emily is standing in the doorway, with Mia close by.  Mike, Kevin, Antonio, and Jayden jump out and yell surprise as confetti falls from the ceiling.  Kevin asks Emily if she is surprised?  Emily is delightfully surprised.  Mike steps forward and hands her a card from her sister, Serena.  Emily opens the birthday card and reads it.  Antonio covers her eyes and walks her over to where Mentor Ji is placing the cake.  Written on the cake is Happy Birthday Emily and Clawzord.  Emily is thrilled and laughs.  Kevin wonders why Clawzord's name is on it.  Antonio tells him, it's Clawzord's birthday too.  Clawzord makes sounds of agreement.  Emily tells her friends, they are the best.  Jayden replies, no Emily, Mike was right.  You're the best.  Emily is touched.  Jayden continues, we're just happy to see that you are okay.  Mia asks who wants cake?  Emily hesitantly asks Mia if she bake the cake?  Mia sadly replies, no sorry.  We got this cake at the bakery.  Emily is relieved but wants to spare her friend's feelings and tells her I understand, you were busy.  Jayden glances over at Kevin and Antonio, who try to keep their faces composed.  Kevin tells her to blow out her candles.  Mia reminds her to make a wish first.  Emily blows out her candles and everyone cheers.

The gap sensor goes off at the Shiba House.  The gates open as the Rangers run through them.  Red Ranger:  "There's no time to lose!"  Blue Ranger:  "Right behind you!"  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger:  "Yeah!"  The six Rangers race into Panorama City and immediately notice the giant Moogers attacking.  Gold Ranger:  "Six, no seven!"  Green Ranger:  "Whoa!  At once!"  Yellow Ranger notices something else.  Yellow Ranger:  "Down there!  Look!  The Sanzu River is seeping through!"  Red Ranger:  "Let's go!"  Red Ranger:  "Samuraizers!"  All:  "Go!"  Red Ranger:  "Lion Folding Zord!"  Blue Ranger:  "Dragon Folding Zord!"  Green Ranger:  "Bear Folding Zord!"  Yellow Ranger:  "Ape Folding Zord!"  Pink Ranger:  "Turtle Folding Zord!"  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger:  "Mega mode power!"  The five Rangers leap into their zords.  Gold Ranger:  "Samurai morpher!  Gold power!"  Gold Ranger looks at his morpher.  Gold Ranger:  "Clawzord, I need you now!"  Clawzord leaves the fishing cart.  Octozord peeks out.  Gold Ranger:  "Octozord, you're coming too."  Octozord leaves the fishing cart.  The two zords join the rest of the zords as they race along.  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger:  "Zords combine!  Battlewing Megazord!  Armed for battle!"  Gold Ranger leaps into Clawzord.  Gold Ranger:  "Mega mode power!  Clawzord transformation!  Let's switch this up!  Let's see what we catch today!"  Gold Ranger spins the device.  Gold Ranger:  "Fantastico!  Claw Battlezord North!  Ready!"  The giant Moogers have both Megazords surrounded.  Gold Ranger:  "Whoa!  Is this a Mooger family reunion?"  Red Ranger:  "Antonio, focus!"  Gold Ranger:  "I am.  I'm going to go for the high score.  Hey, who wants their butt kicked first?"  The Moogers charged towards the Megazords.  Red Ranger:  "Let's get to work.  Now!"  Claw Battlezord North battles several Moogers.  Gold Ranger:  "Hey, careful where you point that thing!"  Claw Battlezord North knocks down two Moogers.  Gold Ranger:  "Golden baby!  Yeah!"  More Moogers charge towards Claw Battlezord North.  Gold Ranger:  "Aww, these guys keep coming!"  Battlewing Megazord is battling another batch of Moogers.  Red Ranger:  "Got them!"  More Moogers seeps between two buildings and arrive to fight.  This set of Moogers fly through the air and fire at Battlewing Megazord.  Green Ranger:  "Oh man, the flying ones freak me out!"  Red Ranger:  "Not a problem!"  Battlewing Megazord takes to the skies.  Red Ranger:  "It's time for these flyboys to get their wings clipped!"  The flying Moogers continue to fire at Battlewing Megazord.  Battlewing Megazord flies towards the Moogers and knocked them out of the sky with it's sword.  Claw Battlezord North continues the battle on the ground with another batch of Moogers.  Gold Ranger:  "Let's finish this!  Octospear charge!"  Claw Battlezord North with the Octospear fires and destroys several Moogers.  Battlewing Megazord continues the battle in the sky and destroys more Moogers.  Battlewing Megazord lands on the ground.  Red Ranger:  "Megablade!"  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger:  "Activate!  Katana power!  Final strike!"  The remaining Moogers are destroyed.  Red Ranger:  "Samurai Rangers, victory is ours!"  Gold Ranger:  "Our team is as good as gold!"   After the battle, Mike, Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Jayden return to Shiba House.  Jayden and Kevin are already seated by the table as Mike and Mia walk in and head towards the table.  Mia:  "I don't know what to do.  We fought so hard, but the Sanzu River keeps seeping into our world."  Mia takes a seat.  Mike:  "I can't believe this is happening."  Mike takes a seat.  Emily walks over.  Emily:  "What else can we do?"  Emily takes a seat. Emily:  "We've beaten the Nighlok every time."  Jayden:  "We can't think about winning or losing.  We have to believe in ourselves and keep fighting."  Kevin:  "Jayden's right.  We can't give up no matter what".  Mentor Ji walks into the room.  He has overheard their conversation.  Mentor Ji:  "I'm glad to hear that.  Because I may have found something that can help us."  Mentor Ji places an opened book on the table.  Jayden recognizes the illustration right away.  Jayden:  "The Black Box?  Ji we can't."  Mia:  "What is it?"  Mentor Ji:  "A magic talisman created by the very first Red Ranger.  It is said it can unite the symbol power of all Rangers into one."  Mike:  "Okay, cool, so let's fire it up."  Jayden:  "It's not as simple as that.  Red Ranger never finished the talisman."  Mentor Ji:  "Many have tried, but none have the skill and the power to complete it."  Emily:  "What about Antonio?  He's a tech whiz."  Mike likes the idea.  Mike:  "Yeah, I mean, the guy programmed the zord like it was a coffee maker."  Kevin is not so sure.  Kevin:  "But he doesn't have mastery of symbol power like we do.  You know how much it drains us each time we use it."  Jayden:  "Kevin's right.  Trying to transfer even a few of our symbol power into the box could destroy him.  I can't ask him to do this."  Emily:  "Jayden, none of us want to see Antonio get hurt.  But...."  Mia:  "We're talking about saving the human race."  Mike:  "If he's willing, give it a shot."  Jayden thinks it over.  Jayden:  "Okay."  Everyone gives a small nod.  Mentor Ji:  "First you must retrieve the Black Box.  For generations it has been protected by the guardians of the Tengen Gate."  Mike and his friends head out.  Eventually they arrive at the Tengen Gate.  Mike is not very impressed.  Mike:  "This is the Tengen Gate.  It's just a big wood thing."   Jayden:  "The Tengen Gate is an important part of Ranger history, Mike."  Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Jayden all give a small bow before walking underneath the gate.  Jayden leads his friends through the courtyard.  They pause at a monument.  Jayden:  "This commemorates where the first Samurai Rangers battled the Nighlok army."  Emily:  "They say the Sanzu River flooded the entire city."  Mike:  "What happened?"  Kevin:  "The Rangers defeated them because they never gave up and they took their training seriously."  Mike shakes his head with a grin.  An older man arrives.   Daisuke:  "We certainly did.  Although the legends tell us that the Green Ranger was a bit of a prankster."  Emily laughs.  Mike can't believe it.  Mike:  "No way."  Daisuke:  "Apparently he drove the Blue Ranger crazy, but they were still the best of friends.  I am Daisuke.  The elder guardian."    Mike, Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Jayden all give a small bow.  Daisuke:  "Welcome to the Tengen Gate. Your mentor advised us that you were coming.  Please."  With his arm, Daisuke indicates that they should go ahead.  Another guardian waits to escort them.  Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Mike follow the guardian.  Inside the room, Mike, Mia, Emily, and Kevin set about exploring it.  Mia and Kevin are drawn to a tapestry hanging on the wall that depicts a tragic scene.  Daisuke and Jayden enter and head over to Mia and Kevin.  Daisuke:  "It's an old folk tale.  A young woman made a deal with a Nighlok king to save the life of her beloved.  But the king tricked her and turned them both into Nighlok."  Kevin:  "Sure sounds like something a Nighlok would do."  Mike and Emily walked over to join the group.  Daisuke:  "The king took away the man's memory and cursed him to wander the Earth alone forever."  Mia:  "It's strange."   Mia felt as she had met this woman before.  Mia places her figures on the two tragic figures.  Moments later, Mike, Mia, Emily, Kevin, Jayden, and Daisuke are sitting in a circle on the floor.  Daisuke places a small box on the floor and removes the lid.  Inside is the Black Box.  Daisuke tells them, the Black Box is the most powerful samurai weapon ever conceive.  Few even know of it's existence.  Jayden carefully picks up the Black Box.  He thanks Daisuke.  I shall protect it with my life.  Behind them, a guardian is pouring tea in cups for them.  Daisuke hopes their friend can program it.  With each passing day, the Nighlok presence grows stronger.  I fear that soon even this sacred place will be corrupted by their evil.  No one notices Octoroo's arm as it comes through the gap, stretches over to the table and poisons the tea.  A guardian carries the tray of tea and places it close to Daisuke.  Daisuke tells the teens, let us drink tea together.  Everyone reaches for a cup.  Mike takes two cups and gives one to Mia.  They all hold their cups up in a toast.  Daisuke states, to honor the ancient Rangers and for good fortune in battle.  Jayden is the first to take a drink.  He suddenly drops his cup and lays on the floor in pain, clutching at his throat.  Jayden manages to choke out a warning - don't drink the tea, it's poison.  Mia goes over to Jayden's side.  The rest of the teens are alarmed.  A guardian races in and tells Daisuke there are Nighlok in the garden.  Mia tells the rest, we can't leave Jayden.  Jayden tells them not to worry about him.  Go!  Hurry! In the courtyard, the Moogers have grab some of the guardians and toss them around.  Mike, Mia, Emily, and Kevin run into the garden, using their power symbols to morph as they run.  The four Rangers face down Arachnitor and the Moogers.  Arachnitor notes that there are only four of them. and concludes that his little scheme worked.  The Moogers charge towards the four Rangers.  The four Rangers pull out their Spin Swords and leap towards the Moogers.  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger battle the Moogers with their Spin Swords.  After knocking down a few Moogers, Pink Ranger announces she is calling Antonio for backup.  The battle has moved into the woods by Tengen Gate.  Green Ranger is battling several Moogers with his Spin Sword.  He hopes Antonio can find them in this big forest.  Green Ranger transforms his Spin Sword into his Forest Spear.  He battles several Moogers with the Forest Spear.  Blue Ranger is battling another batch of Moogers with his Spin Sword.  He thinks this is taking too long.  Blue Ranger transforms his Spin Sword into his Hydro Bow.  Blue Ranger knocks out several Moogers with his Hydro Bow.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger are battling several more Moogers with their Spin Swords.  Yellow Ranger wonders where Arachnitor is hiding.  Pink Ranger doesn't know and wonders if it will turn up.  Suddenly Arachnitor leaps into the battle.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger battle Arachnitor with their Spin Swords.  As Arachnitor fights the two Rangers he brags that he's not even breaking a sweat.  Arachnitor knocks both Rangers to the ground.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger quickly get back up and charge towards Arachnitor with their Spin Swords drawn.  Before they can strike, Arachnitor leaps out of the way and strikes them from behind.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger have a hard time keeping up with Arachnitor's swift moves.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger are knocked down to the ground once more.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger get back up.  Arachnitor shoots webbing out of his mouth that encircles the two Rangers.  Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger can't break free.  Blue Ranger leaps in and breaks the webbing with his Hydro Bow.  Blue Ranger stands protectively in front of Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger with his Hydro Bow.  Green Ranger makes sure the two Rangers are okay.  Yellow Ranger lets him know that they are okay.  The four Rangers face down Arachnitor with the Hydro Bow and Spin Swords.  Arachnitor is confident he can take them all.  Arachnitor and the four Rangers charge towards each other.  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger battle Arachnitor with their Spin Swords.  Arachnitor has an easy time fighting the four Rangers.  Arachnitor leaps up into the air and when he comes down, he spins really fast, knocking all four Rangers to the ground.  Pink Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, we can't beat him.  Blue Ranger tells her, we need to.  Jayden's in trouble!  Blue Ranger gets back up and battles Arachnitor with his Spin Sword.  After several blows, Arachnitor knocks Blue Ranger to the ground.  Green Ranger has had it.  Green Ranger and Pink Ranger and leap into the air and are about to strike Arachnitor when Arachnitor shoots out his webbing.  It encases both Rangers.  Arachnitor fires at the two trapped Rangers.  Green Ranger and Pink Ranger fall to the ground.  The webbing vanishes.  Arachnitor tells them they are toast as he charges towards them.  Arachnitor strikes Green Ranger and Pink Range.  They hit the ground hard and demorph.  Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger continue the battle, but they are soon struck down hard and hit the ground and demorph.  Later, Gold Ranger finds Mike, Mia, Emily, and Kevin unconscious on the forest floor. 

Antonio managed to get Mike, Mia, Emily, and Kevin back to Shiba House.  Mike, Mia, Kevin, and Emily were resting comfortably as Mentor Ji and Antonio kept an eye on them from the doorway.  After a few minutes, they walked away, but Mike and the rest could still hear their conversation.  Hearing Antonio state he had to pick up the slack, struck Kevin the hardest.  Kevin flung the covers off his bed and sat with his feet on the floor.  Kevin:  "There's no time to rest.  It's our sworn duty to keep the world safe."  Kevin struggled but managed to stand up.  Kevin:  "We're Samurai.  Nothing can stop us."  Kevin took a step forward and fell to his knees.  Mia:  "Kevin!"  Mia convinced Kevin to get back in bed.  Later they could hear Antonio working on the Black Box.  Antonio felt the strain and Mentor Ji cautioned him to be careful.  If there was another Nighlok attack, Antonio was the only who could respond.  It affects Kevin the hardest.  Once more, Kevin sits up in his bed.  Mia is concern.  Mia:  "Kevin?  What're you doing?  You need to rest."  Kevin:  "I have to find some way to help."  Mia:  "No.  You don't have to do this.  Not alone.  Let's help each other.  That's the best way we can help Jayden."  Mia got out of bed and held her hand out to Kevin.  Kevin takes it with a smile.  Mike, Mia, Kevin, and Emily got dressed and walked into the main room, just as Mentor Ji was telling Antonio the dangerous part with the Black Box was next, infusing it with everyone's symbol powers.  Kevin:  "That's where we come in!"  Mentor Ji:  "You shouldn't be out of bed!"  Kevin:  "Antonio can't take this all on himself.  We need to help each other.  Especially since Jayden is gone."  The gap sensor goes off.  Antonio:  "So what do we do now?"  Mia:  "Well, I know what Jayden would say."  Kevin:  "At all cost, protect the innocent."  Antonio:  "That's golden!  You guys go take care of the Nighlok, and I'll go find Jayden."  Antonio starts to leave, but Mentor Ji stops him.  Mentor Ji:  "No!  You must finish the Black Box first."  Antonio:  "I can't!  I need their power discs and they're taking them into battle."  As Antonio spoke, Emily pulled out her power disc, looked at it, and then walked over to Antonio.  Emily held out the power disc to Antonio.  Emily:  "Here...it's yours."  Mike and the rest give him their power discs as well.  Antonio:  "Are you guys serious?  How can you defeat the Nighlok without these?  Emily:  "We'll make due.  But without the Black Box, the whole's world's in danger and you're the only one that can program it."  Kevin:  It's true.  No one else can match the skills you bring to the team."  Antonio:  "But, my best friend needs me."  Mia:  "I know what he'll say to that too."  Kevin:  "One person is insignificant compare to the fate of the world."  Mike:  "Dude, you have that impression down."  Kevin scoffs and smiles a little.  Antonio:  "Okay.  Man, I wish you guys weren't right but you are.  This has to come first."  Antonio noticed Mike and the rest were still standing around him.  Antonio:  "Well, go on!  Get out of here!  I've got work to do!"  Mike, Mia, Kevin, and Emily hurried out.  Mike:  "We're on it!"  Antonio:  "And be careful!"  Kevin:  "Don't worry about us!"  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger arrived in Panorama City.  Arachnitor's back was towards them and he was blowing up buildings.  Green Ranger:  "Fighting buildings?!  Wow!  You're tough!  Fight someone that fights back!"  Arachnitor turned around and blasted Green Ranger, Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Pink Ranger.  But they managed to stay put by using their Spin Swords to block most of the blast.  Yellow Ranger:  "Wait!  Does this creep look familiar?  It's like he's mutated or something."  Blue Ranger:  "Guys, stay on your toes!"  Arachnitor stretches out his arms and strikes the four Rangers several times,  knocking them to the ground.  The four Rangers quickly get back up on their feet and charge towards Arachnitor.  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger battled the Moogers with their Spin Swords.  Blue Ranger taunts the Moogers as he battles them, telling them they need to get a lot better at this.  Pink Ranger tells the rest, as she battles, that battling without their power discs is working out just fine.  Pink Ranger leaps into the air and knocks a Mooger out.  Arachnitor runs into the battle and strikes each Ranger.  Arachnitor then blasts the four Rangers.  Green Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, much more of this and we're toast.  Suddenly Arachnitor is struck with several strikes.  It is Gold Ranger.  Gold Ranger and Red Ranger race over to the four fallen Rangers.  The four Rangers are happy to see that Red Ranger is okay.  Arachnitor is surrounded by Moogers.  Arachnitor sends the Moogers to attack the Rangers.  Gold Ranger races through the Moogers and strikes each one with his Barracuda Blade.  Gold Ranger destroys several Moogers.  Gold Ranger informs the rest of the Rangers that he didn't have time to finish the Black Box, but I promise to try again.  Gold Ranger passes back the power discs to the four Rangers.  Yellow Ranger notes, we can sure use them.  Green Ranger is ready - let's show these Moogers how we really roll.  More Moogers charge towards the Rangers.  Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger use the Quadruple Slash against several Moogers, which destroys them.  Arachnitor charges towards the Rangers.  Red Ranger transforms his Spin Sword into his Fire Smasher.  Red Ranger battles Arachnitor with his Fire Smasher.  Arachnitor strikes the Fire Smasher, having it transform back into a Spin Sword.  Red Ranger notes, things just got a little tougher.  Red Ranger kicks Arachnitor and then flies backwards.  Arachnitor tries to blast him several times, but misses.  Arachnitor leaps into the air and battles Red Ranger, knocking him down.  Pink Ranger notes that they are all too tired to put up much of a fight.  Blue Ranger suggests they combine all their strength.  Green Ranger notes, we don't have much of it.  We need something that doesn't require much symbol power.  Red Ranger suggests Quintuple Slash.  The five Rangers use the Quintuple Slash against Arachnitor and knock him off his feet.  Arachnitor gets back on his feet.  Yellow Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, it's still not enough.  Gold Ranger runs up to them and tells them to do it again.  This time I will help it on it's way.  Gold Ranger races towards Arachnitor and then stops several feet in front of it.  Pink Ranger is concern they will hit Gold Ranger.  Gold Ranger reassures them that he's got a golden move that will keep me safe and power up our attack.  Red Ranger hopes Gold Ranger knows what he is doing.  Once more the five Rangers use Quintuple Slash.  Gold Ranger uses the power of the Quintuple Slash and puts a spin on it.  Gold Ranger then hits Arachnitor with the more powerful Quintuple Slash.  Arachnitor goes flying, hits broken concrete and lands on the ground.  Arachnitor still gets back up, but this time he takes off.  Gold Ranger points out that Arachnitor is getting away.  The Rangers are about to chase after him when several giant Moogers emerged from a gap.  Yellow Ranger comments, this isn't good. Green Ranger, Pink Ranger, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger summon their zords.  When they arrive, Samurai Megazord is formed.  Gold Ranger summons Clawzord.  Once it arrives, Gold Ranger leaps inside and transforms Clawzord into Claw Battlezord East.  Several of the giant Moogers shoot arrows at Samurai Megazord and Claw Battlezord East.  Both are hit.  Gold Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers to take care of Arachnitor, he will take care of the Moogers.  Red Ranger agrees.  Green Ranger spots more Moogers seeping out of a gap.  This group of Moogers fly towards them.  Green Ranger notes, they are not kidding around today.  The flying Moogers fire at Samurai Megazord and Claw Battlezord East.  Blue Ranger can't believe there are more Moogers.  Samurai Megazord is hit several times and Yellow Ranger notes they are sitting ducks.  Gold Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, they got to take action now!  Red Ranger agrees, we must control the sky.  Swordfish Zord, Tiger Zord, and Beetle Zord are summon and Samurai Battlewing is formed.  Samurai Battlewing takes to the sky.  Claw Battlezord East battles the giant Moogers on the ground and knocks a couple to the ground.  The flying Moogers fire at Samurai Battlewing.  Samurai Battlewing strikes several of the flying Moogers with it's sword, knocking them out of the sky and the flying Moogers retreat.  The giant Moogers on the ground continue their attack on Claw Battlezord East.  Gold Ranger notes, they want some more.  Remember these claws can handle you!  Gold Ranger activates the mega blade.  Claw Battlezord East strikes the Moogers several times with it's claws.  The Moogers are destroyed.  Gold Ranger wants to get spider breath next.  Green Ranger tells them, that mutant must given us the slip.  Red Ranger tells Gold Ranger, that Arachnitor is long gone by now.   After the battle, Mike, Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Antonio find Jayden sitting alone in the courtyard, his back towards them.  Emily calls out to him.  Jayden turns around and Emily asks if this is a bad time?  Jayden replies, no, what's up?  Mia tells him, first they wanted to make sure you're okay after all that you have been through.  Mike adds that they are going to chow down on some pizza and figure out a strategy for the new, more powerful Nighlok.  Emily asks if Jayden wants to join them.  Jayden thanks them.  I'm doing fine.  But why don't you go ahead without me.  Mia asks if he is sure.  Jayden replies, yeah, thanks.  Emily tells him, okay, no problem.  It's your choice.  Disappointed Mike, Mia, Emily, and Antonio head towards Shiba House.  Kevin hangs back a little, concerned for his friend, but eventually joins the rest.  A few moments later, Jayden quickly stands up and calls out to his friends, you guys!  Jayden walks over to his friends and tells them, I changed my mind, I will join you.  Mike, Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Antonio are happy to have Jayden join them.  They all head inside.
