Alex Drake - Jason Faunt
Alex Drake is a Time Force Officer in the year 3000. He is also the first Red Time Force Power Ranger. Alex takes his job very seriously and is a serious young man. Time Force had been successful in capturing all criminals, except for one - Ransik. Eventually, Time Force caught up with Ransik and had several Time Force officers surrounded a warehouse that Ransik was in. Captain Logan was giving orders to A Team and B Team. Red Ranger entered the warehouse - prepared to take Ransik down. Red Ranger held out his badge and told Ransik in the name of Time Force I place you under arrest. Ransik sneered and told the Red Ranger he didn't know what he was in for. The two battle, but eventually Red Ranger captured Ransik. A huge explosion took place within the warehouse. A few moments later, Red Ranger walked out with Ransik in handcuffs. Captain Logan ordered several officers to make sure Ransik was secure and they escorted him away. Red Ranger demorph and handed Captain Logan a time devise, unaware that it was a decoy. Alex told Captain Logan that with the time device, Ransik could have gone to any time. Captain Logan replied that would have been a disaster. They saluted and Captain Logan walked away. Captain Logan passed Jen, another Time Force officer, and told her to take good care of Alex. Jen grinned and threw herself into Alex's arms. They hugged. The following day, Alex, Jen, Captain Logan, Trip, Katie, and Lucas (all Time Force officers) sat in the courtroom for the trial of Ransik. The judges left to decided Ransik's verdict. Alex and Jen stood on a balcony that overlooked the city. Alex told Jen that with Ransik and his gang gone, they would have a little more time together. Jen smiled and told Alex that it would be nice to actually spend time with her boyfriend. Alex smiled and told her that he was thinking of something a little more permanent. He held out a box and Jen opened it. Inside the box was an engagement ring. Alex removed the ring and asked "Jennifer, will you marry me?". Jen said yes and they hugged. Alex looked deep into Jen's eyes and told her after Ransik, it's you and me. Jen replied forever. They returned to the courtroom. The judges returned with a guilty verdict for Ransik and the sentence of cryogenic containment for life. Everyone in the courtroom applauded. Captain Logan shook Alex's hand. The following morning Jen, Trip, Lucas, and Katie were given the task by Captain Logan to escort Ransik to prison. On the way, they were ambushed by Nadira, Ransik's daughter. Alex was driving when he received the alert that Ransik had escape. Alex quickly went into action. He morphed into the Red Ranger and soon found Ransik on top of a building. They battled. Trip, Lucas, Jen, and Katie reached the top of the building to witness Ransik's powerful blow to Red Ranger. Red Ranger demorph and landed on the ground. Jen screamed no and raced to Alex's side. Jen cradled Alex's head in her lap and tears streamed down her face. Weakly, Alex told Jen that she had to stop Ransik. Jen sobbed no. Alex gave her his chrono morpher and told her that there were four more in the Time Ship. He made Jen promised that she would capture Ransik. Tearfully, Jen agreed. Alex wiped the tears from her face and softly told her you and me. Jen finished with forever. Alex's eyes closed and his arm fell lifelessly to the side and hit the pavement. Jen cried and at first refuse to let the medic team near Alex. Eventually the medic team pulled Jen away and tended to Alex. Jen, Trip, Lucas, and Katie entered the Time Ship and went after Ransik.
Alex recovered and returned to Time Force. He worked on his own project, away from the rest of Time Force. Alex developed the Time Shadow Megazord and ran several tests on it. Alex used hidden cameras to keep up to date on what was going on. He listened and heard that the Rangers were in trouble, and the zords were not ready to send to them. Alex sent the Time Shadow Megazord back in time to help the Rangers. After successfully destroying Tronicon, the Time Shadow Megazord returned to it's time. Alex was very pleased with it's success. Alex would send out the Time Shadow Megazord whenever the Rangers needed it.
Alex was monitoring a battle between Quantum Ranger and a giant Conwing and several Cyclobots. Alex knew that Quantum Ranger needed more help. Alex immediately began downloading the information directly to Quantum Ranger's helmet about the mega battle armor mode, which Quantum Ranger immediately used and defeated Conwing.
Alex was working when Captain Logan reported in. Captain Logan told him that Steelix had been unfrozen and he would keep him posted on updates. Alex never spoke to Captain Logan or acknowledge his presence. Later, Captain Logan came in and told Alex that Steelix had been captured. Captain Logan was about to leave when Alex told him that Steelix being captured was good news. Alex told Captain Logan that the future was shifting and he might have to step in.
Alex kept monitoring the situation in the past. He watched the monitors which showed that Frax had broken away from Ransik and plotting his own revenge. Ransik and Severax had attacked Bio-Labs and the battled had escalated to zords. Alex sent the Time Shadow Megazord and then donned the Time Force uniform. Alex traveled back to the past. Lucas, Jen, Katie, Trip, and Wes were celebrating the capture of another mutant when Alex began walking towards them. His friends were stunned. Alex removed his glasses and told them that the future was shifting and he had come to set it straight.
Jen ran up to Alex and hugged him. Jen was very happy to see Alex. Alex told Jen that he had barely survive Ransik's attack. Jen ran her hands over his face, asking him if he was okay. Alex told her he was, but this mission was bigger than both of them. Alex broke away from Jen and told Lucas, Trip, Katie, and Wes to follow him. Alex lead them to a time ship on the beach. They entered and Alex told them to fall in line. Lucas, Trip, Katie, Jen stood in a straight line. Wes reluctantly stood a little behind the others. Alex began to holler at them. He told them that their actions had change the past and now the future was shifting. Alex told them that he was taking over as Red Ranger. Trip protested, telling Alex that Wes was their Red Ranger. Alex, who had ignored Wes up to this point, walked over to Wes and told him that his destiny was to head Bio-Labs. Wes chuckled and told him maybe once, but their future wasn't written in stone. Alex told Wes that he would take over Bio-Labs as his father would die tomorrow. Wes laughed and told Alex that he had seen his father this morning and that he looked fine to him. Seconds later, Wes' morpher went off. It was Eric. Eric told Wes that his father had been hurt and was in the hospital. Alex told Wes that he was sorry about his dad, but you cannot change your fate. Alex held out his hand for his morpher and Wes reluctantly gave it to him. Wes ran out of the ship. Jen tried to stop Wes. Alex barked at them that they needed to focus their attention. Wes left. Lucas, Trip, Katie, and Jen took Alex to the clock tower. Alex was in disbelief, this was their base of operations. Alex was not impressed and was irate when Circuit flew in and almost hit him. Alex commented on the security and then drilled them about what they were wearing. Jen stumbled with her words as she told Alex that Wes had suggested the clothing in order for them to fit in. Alex told them that they looked ridiculous and told them to put on their time force uniforms. Lucas, Trip, Katie, and Jen left to change. Alex sat at a desk and began to look through things. His temper did not improve when he found a picture of Wes kissing Jen. Jen came up and told Alex that they had been working hard trying to capture Ransik. Alex flung the pictures on the desk as he told her that he could tell that they had been working hard. Alex stood at the window and Jen joined him. Jen asked him what was wrong. Alex didn't know what she was talking about. Jen pointed out the fact that Alex had been alive all this time and never told her. Alex couldn't give her an answer and fell back on the importance of the mission. Trip, Katie, and Lucas walked in. Alex told them that they all looked much better. Alex told them that Frax had broken away from Ransik and was building a robot powerful enough to destroy the city. The clock tower began to shake and they all ran to the window to see something streaking in the sky. Trip asked if it was a comet and Alex told them that they would find out soon enough. They headed for the beach. Alex faced them and morphed into the Red Ranger. Katie, Jen, Lucas, and Trip stood still. Jen then encouraged her friends and they morphed as well. The zords were sent and the Rangers were ready to battle Dragontron. Alex told them that it was important to hit Dragontron at the right place, otherwise Dragontron and the city would blow up. Quantum Ranger joined them in their battle, as Alex knew he would. The battle was not going well and Pink Ranger asked Wes what they should do. Pink Ranger realized her error and tried to apologize, but Alex wouldn't hear it. In a hurt voice, he told them to focus on the task at hand. Frax had Dragontron retreat. Alex, Jen, Katie, Lucas, and Trip returned to the clock tower. Alex was furious and told them that they didn't care about the future. Katie snapped and told them that they did care, she got a look at Alex's face and added sir. Alex told them that they had better do better or there would be no future. Alex stormed off.
The following day, Alex was looking at the scanning equipment. He couldn't this was all they had to work with and even criticized Circuit as an outdated computer. Jen told Alex that this was all that they had to work with. Alex remained disgruntled. Frax sends out Dragontron and Alex, Jen, Lucas, Trip, and Katie morph and head out. They are battling in their zords against Dragontron. Frax activates an energy siphon and the zords are render helpless. The battle continues on the ground. Despite suggestions from the Pink Ranger, Alex goes ahead with his own plan and the team is demorph. Alex gets up first and yells at the team to get up and fight. Lucas has had enough and yells at Alex. Lucas tells Alex that it is him who does not care about the future. Trip, Lucas, Katie, and Jen all tell Alex that the team is better with Wes as their leader. Wes appears and tells Alex that they make their own destiny and he chooses to fight with his friends. Wes takes out the energy siphon. Jen approaches Alex and pleads with him to give Wes the morpher. Alex reluctantly gives Jen the morpher. He watches silently as the team goes into action. Later, dressed as a doctor, Alex enters Mr. Collins' hospital room. He places a glowing orb in Mr. Collins' hand, Mr. Collins had stopped breathing, and the energy from orb droves from Mr. Collins' hand, up his arm and up to his chest and Mr. Collins begins to breathe again. Mr. Collins gets a fuzzy look at Alex, whom he believes is Wes, before Alex leaves. Later, Alex stands at the beach where the time ship is. He apologizes to Trip, Katie, Lucas, and Jen for being so hard on them and tells them that they are fine Rangers. Alex stops in front of each one to say goodbye. He stops in front of Jen and apologizes again, telling her he didn't know what had gotten into him. Jen tells him that she knows he was only trying to do what was best. They hug each other. Alex walks towards the time ship when Wes comes running up to him. Wes knows that Alex had saved his dad's life and questions him about changing destiny. Alex shakes Wes' hand and tells him that they all make their own destiny and he had learned that from him. Alex enters the time ship and heads back into the future.
Alex came running into his room. Circuit was contacting him. Circuit told him that the Rangers were in trouble. Alex watched the screen that showed the Pink Ranger in trouble as they battle Mr. Mechanau. Alex said Jen's name softly. Alex watched and things were not improving for the Rangers. Alex knew he had to do something. He contacted Wes through his helmet visor and told him he was sending some help - the Stratacycle. The Stratacycle was sent and Alex watched as Red Ranger defeated Mr. Mechanau. Pink Ranger thanked Red Ranger and Alex turned away from the screen, relieved that Jen was okay.
Alex watched on a monitor as Circuit access data from the future. Circuit saw the sky over Silver Hills covered with time vortexes. Circuit was about to tell Trip, Lucas, Katie, Jen, and Wes what he had saw when Alex quickly removed the data. Alex, although Circuit could not hear him, apologized, it wasn't time for the Rangers to find out. Later, Circuit was with Trip in the Silver Hills Space Center. A bomb was about to go off, but Circuit thought he might malfunction and refuse to help Trip crack the code. Alex contacted Circuit and told him that there was nothing wrong with him. He had removed the data because he did not want the Rangers to have the information yet. Circuit was very relieved and left to help Trip crack the code. Later, Alex kept a close eye on the monitor which show several time vortexes opening up in the sky over Silver Hills.
Alex contacted Jen, Lucas, Katie, Trip, and Wes. He told them that soon a huge attack would occur in Silver Hills. Alex showed them a video that showed time vortexes opening up in the sky. Lucas, Katie, Trip, Wes, and Jen were stunned. Alex told them that the achieves show that they save the future, but they did not survive. There was more stunned silence. Alex told them that the only way to prevent this was for the four of them to enter the time ship and return to the future. Wes' friends glanced at him and asked about Wes. Alex told them that Wes is not from the year 3000 and cannot return. He apologized to Wes. Alex insisted that it was the only way for Trip, Jen, Katie and Lucas to stay safe.
Alex walked into his room and noticed the time ship displayed on the monitor. Alex became furious when he realized that Jen, Katie, Lucas, and Trip had not left yet. Alex frantically contacted Jen to find out what was taking so long. Jen told Alex that they had decided to stay and fight with Wes. Alex became angry and told her that they had to leave now before it was too late. Jen cut off their communication.
The time ship arrived back to the year 3000. Wes wanting to save his friends, had tricked them onto the ship and then set it to auto pilot. Alex walked into the time ship moments after Katie, Jen, Lucas, and Trip had awaken to find out that they were back in the year 3000. Alex told them that he was glad they had come to their senses. Jen, Lucas, Trip, and Katie ask Alex what had happened to Wes. Alex was reluctant to answer them. Alex told them that Wes had save the future, but did not survive. Jen walked unsteadily towards Alex, and then started to fall. Alex caught her and told her to take it easy, that they had just traveled one thousand years. Lucas, Trip, Katie, and Jen were upset over the news of Alex. Jen had step away from Alex. Alex keep moving towards Jen, trying to touch her, and she kept backing away from him. Alex realize Jen did not want him near her and it hurt him. Alex faced the group and told them that everything would become easier once they have gone through memory adoption. Trip, Lucas, Katie, and Jen were confused. Alex told them it was standard procedure and they would soon have no memories of the year 2001. Alex left them. Later, Alex reentered and told them it was time for them to come. Reluctantly, Jen, Katie, Lucas, and Trip followed Alex into a group with a group of people there. Devices were placed on their head and they were placed in individual clear tubes. Alex walked over to the control panel for the memory adaptation program. He glanced at Jen, who looked tearfully at him. Alex was about to push the button to start the procedure, when Jen walked out of the tube. Jen angrily told Alex that she didn't want to forget the year 2001, and she was going back to help Wes. Katie, Lucas, and Trip gathered behind Jen and Lucas told Alex not to stop them. Alex looked imploringly at Jen and told her that she would not survive. Jen told Alex how could they live without themselves knowing Wes had not survive. Jen, tears in her eyes, gave Alex back his engagement ring. Alex held onto the ring and painfully knew that Jen was no longer his girl. Alex stepped aside to let the four pass. Despite his own pain, Alex instructed Jen, Lucas, Katie, and Trip to take the megazord. They would reach 2001 faster. Jen gave him a small nod of acknowledgement and thanked him. Alex watched the woman he love walk out of his life.
