MR. PICKETTS

Mr. Picketts - David Pires

Mr. Picketts works at the Silver Hills DMV.  His favorite expression is a careful driver is a happy driver.  Mr. Picketts is Lucas' driving instructor, when Lucas has to take a driving test.  Mr. Picketts checks the seat belt and the mirrors before they start, using his clipboard to check things off.  Lucas starts to drive at a reasonable speed and Mr. Picketts tells him to stop.  Mr. Picketts tells Lucas a careful driver is a happy driver and tells him to take it easy.  Lucas sedately begins the driving test.  Later, Mr. Picketts is impressed with Lucas' driving.  He tells Lucas that young people like to speed, but not you.  Mr. Picketts is about to pass Lucas on his driving test and is unaware of two speeding cars that pass by.  Lucas notices Nadira and a mutant in one vehicle and several Cyclobots in another.  Lucas tells Mr. Picketts to hold on.  Mr. Picketts is confused and Lucas takes off at a very fast speed.  Mr. Picketts screams and hollers throughout the chase.  Despite his efforts, Lucas loses Nadira's trail.  Lucas looks inside the car at the trembling Mr. Picketts.  The following day, Mr. Picketts is back to issuing driver's licenses.  He has his head bandage, he has a neck brace, and his arm is in a cast.  Mr. Picketts has just given a lady her driver's license when Lucas pulls up and shouts out to Mr. Picketts that he is ready to take his driving test.  Mr. Picketts recognizes Lucas and takes off running and screaming.
