The Rangers find out that Circuit has data about the future and try to persuade him to reveal something about the future.  Alex shuts down those data systems before Circuit can revealed anything.  This causes the Rangers to think that Circuit has a glitch.  It also causes to Circuit to doubt himself.  When the Rangers need his help to override a self-destruct command, Circuit refuses to help because he fears he will malfunction.
