During a confrontation with Nadira, Jen, Katie, Lucas and Trip discovered they are unable to morph. Needing someone with DNA similar to Alex's, and much to Jen's great reluctance, Wes is incorporated into the team. But it is only a temporary measure, as soon as the battle is over, Jen's rips Wes's morpher off his wrist and tells him he is no longer needed.
