The End Of Time, Part II

Wes sends his friends back to the year 3000.  He then returns to the city to find Eric badly hurt.  Wes helps Eric along to a safe spot.   Wes tells Eric that they need to work together.  When Eric replies that he works alone, Wes becomes exasperated and demands an explanation for Eric's constant rejection of friendship.  Eric tells Wes of his background and tells him they have nothing in common.  Wes explains that they do - making their own destinies and being Rangers.  Meanwhile, Jen, Katie, Trip, and Lucas have return to the year 3000.  Alex is pleased to see them, but they are not too thrilled.  They demand to know what happened to Wes.  Alex explains that although the future was saved, Wes did not make it.  Alex also tells them that they have to undergo a procedure which will erase their memories of the year 2001.  None of them want to forget their time in the year 2001.  Mr. Collins is on a desperate search for Wes.  He is unable to find him.  Mr. Collins has his chauffeur take a small boy and his mom to the hospital.  Mr. Collins continues his search for Wes on foot.  Wes and Eric make it to the clock tower.  Inside the tower, they are attacked by hundreds of cyclobots.  Working together, they managed to destroy some cyclobots and escape.  Mr. Collins is about to be attacked by cyclobots, when Wes and Eric show up and save him.  Wes and his Dad embrace.  At that moment, a cyclobot sits up and takes fire at Mr. Collins and Wes.  Eric sees this and jumps in front of them and takes the hit.  Eric is unable to continue and gives Wes his morpher.  Wes continues the battle and is literally surrounded by hundreds of cyclobots.  Jen makes the decision not to have her memory erase and go to help Wes.  Trip, Lucas, and Katie make the same decision.  They leave together to help Wes.
