Owen

Owen and Carlos had played soccer together since they were ten.  Owen attend Angel Grove High School.  Owen was waiting outside the coach's office when Carlos appeared.  The coach had wanted to talk to both Carlos and Owen.  Owen figured Carlos knew what it was about and referred to Carlos coach's pet.  The coach show up and told them that he wanted one of them for the team caption.  Owen was excited, but the coach told Owen that he needed to work on his sportsmanship and Carlos had to work on not missing so many practices.  Later in the day, Owen was playing soccer.  Another guy told Carlos to join as Owen needed to work on his sportsmanship.  Owen was not happy to see Carlos there.  Carlos joined the game and slide tackle Owen.  Owen crumbled to the ground and was in a great deal of pain.  Owen blamed Carlos for what had happened.  The coach took Owen to the hospital.  As he was being led away, Owen gave Carlos an accusing look which haunted Carlos.  Owen was given the bad news that he had sprained his ankle and was out for the season.  Owen told his friends that Carlos had made an illegal move and wanted to put him out of commission so that Carlos would get the team caption position.  Several of his friends believe him, while others did not.  Owen had to adjusted to walking with crutches and he did it with ill grace.  He had dropped his books when he was close to his locker and Carlos had picked them up for him.  Owen, still angry, asked Carlos if he had come to gloat.  Carlos tried to set things right for Owen, by telling him he didn't believe he even tough him.  Owen demanded to know how to his leg get messed up.  Owen continued to blame Carlos and walked away from him.  Another day, Owen was surprised to learn that Carlos had quit the team.  He saw Carlos walk towards him and ask him why he quit the team.  Carlos told him he had his reason.  Owen told him the team would lose.  Finally letting go of his anger, Owen confessed to Carlos that Carlos hadn't touch him.  Owen had tripped on his own two feet and wanted to blame someone.  Owen apologized.  Owen and Carlos became friends again and Owen asked Carlos to sign his cast.  Carlos did before rejoining the team.
