The Johnson family run a farm in Turtle Cove.  Claire was out riding a backhoe when she spotted a young man face down by the pond.  She raced over to see if he was okay.  The young man, Cole, opened his eyes and saw Claire watching over him.  Claire announced excitely that the young man had woken up.  Claire's parents came walk over.  Claire's mom introduce her husband, John, and herself, mom - that's what everyone calls her.  Betty told Cole that Claire had been the one to find him.  Cole was upset to discover that he couldn't remember his name or anything else either.  John told Cole that he was welcome to stay until his memory came back.  Claire was excited and told Cole the farm could always use an extra pair of hands.  The following day, Claire had Cole help her out with the chores.  She tried to show Cole how to milk a cow, but the cow didn't cooperate.  Claire was impressed when Cole told her a nail in the cow's hoof was bothering her.  Cole then pulled out the nail.  Claire asked him how he knew and Cole told her the cow told him.  Claire just laughed.  Claire lead the way out of the barn, with Cole struggling under the weight of many milk containers.  A young woman, Taylor, stepped forward and Claire asked her if she could help her.  Taylor just stood there, then Alyssa, Danny, and Max joined her.  Claire repeated her question.  Taylor walked forward and thanked Claire for taking care of their friend, but he needed to come home with them.  Cole was unsure, and stood behind Claire.  Taylor called him Cole.  Claire asked Cole if that was his name, and Cole didn't know.  Taylor reached for Cole and tried to pull him away.  Claire stopped her and told her that he didn't have to go anywhere he didn't want to.  Cole decided that he could trust the four.  Cole pulled Claire to one side and told her it was okay and he felt he could trust them.  Cole placed the straw hat he was wearing on her head and thanked her for all her help.  Claire watched as Cole walked away with his friends.
