Alyssa is upset over her missing elephant zord and goes on her own to find it.  Concern, the other Rangers go looking for Alyssa.  Jindrax and Toxica ambush Alyssa in the forest.  Hurt and unconsciousness, Alyssa is unaware that Zen-Aku is patching her up.  Zen-Aku leaves before the other Rangers can spot him.  Cole finds Alyssa and brings her to the other Rangers in the forest.  As they puzzle over Alyssa's bandages - Toxica and Jindrax attack them.  Zen-Aku chases Jindrax and Toxica and launches an attack on the Rangers.  Zen-Aku reveals his own dark zords, which brings the Rangers to their knees once again.
