Observing Princess Shayla, Taylor comes to the conclusion that Princess Shayla and Merrick were in love.  Merrick helps out an elderly man, Willie.  In return, Willie offers Merrick a room at Willie's Roadhouse.  Although Merrick does not join the Rangers at the Animarium, he continues to help the Rangers battle the Orgs.
