Retinax, a former personal bodyguard of Master Org, is eager to redeem himself.  Retinax and Freezer Org soon has the Ranger's zord frozen and the Rangers demorph.  The Rangers refuse to give up and continue the fight.  Sensing the Ranger's bravery the Soul Bird hatches in time to help the Rangers defeat Freezer Org and heal the Lion zord.
