PENNY

Penny

At the Youth Center, there was a martial arts expo.  Billy, Tanya, and Rocky all came to watch - they had heard about a girl that would take on three girls during the exhibition.  Penny demonstrated her martial arts skills by taking down all three of her opponents at the same time.  Tanya, Billy, and Rocky watched her as she went to a bench, and were surprised that she was blind.  They walked up to her and Rocky introduced them.  Penny was very defensive and took offensive when Billy asked a simple question.  Penny had learned martial arts from her father.  Penny accidentally knocked her background and it's contents fell out.  Rocky, Billy, and Tanya wanted to help her, but Penny insisted that she did not need their help.  She left the Youth Center, but Rocky caught up with her.  Rocky apologized if he had upset her, but Penny simply wanted to be left alone.  The following day at the Resource Center at Angel Grove High School, Penny read a Braille storybook to a group of kids.  After the story, she talk to  them about blind people.  She had a young boy sit on her lap and demonstrated how her other senses made up for her loss of sight.  Later, she sat at the park and comforted a young girl who had lost her dog.  She also told Bulk & Skull (who were trying to pass a test by Lt. Stone) that the coast was clear.  Dressed as statues, Bulk thought Penny must have heard them breathing.  But Penny told them one of them had B.O.  Bulk & Skull left embarrassed.  Rocky approached her again and this time Penny was nicer.  They talked awhile and Penny asked Rocky if he would walk her to the bus stop.  While they were walking, Penny heard a strange noise, and the Rocky's communicator went off.  Rocky took her to a bench and told her he would investigate the noise.  After Rocky had been gone awhile, Penny got up and followed the sound of Rocky's voice.  Rocky was morphed and with the Rangers.  Penny called out for Rocky, and he hurried to her side.  Rocky told Penny that he had been talking to the Power Rangers.  The Rangers asked Penny if she had heard anything strange.  Penny replied if they meant something large jumping off the roof, it went that way and she pointed in the direction.  The Rangers thanked them and Rocky walked her back.  The following day, Penny and Rocky were at the Youth Center.  Rocky had ordered a dish for her, but Penny didn't know if she should trust him when it came to food.  They sat together and were joined by Tanya, Kat, Adam, and Tommy.  Penny listened in amusement as Lt. Stone talked to two young girls seated at his table.  Lt. Stone was unaware that it was Bulk & Skull in disguise.  Penny laughed with the rest as Lt. Stone began angry when he found out the girls were Bulk & Skull.
