Gorenger Secret Base
Black Cross Army launched a successful attack on several of EAGLE's branches. In order to protect the citizens and fight Black Cross Army, surviving members of EAGLE were recruited to form GORENGER. The team was equipped with weapons, Machines (motorcycles), and aircraft as well. There was a need for a place for the Gorengers to gather for new missions and report back on successful battles. It was important that the Gorenger base be hidden from Black Cross Army. The Gorenger Secret Base was built several levels beneath Snack Shop Gon. Snack Shop Gon served as a small restaurant and it allow the Gorengers to enter and leave without suspicion. The base had state of the art computers, as well as having the Machines and Variblune stored there. The Machines were able to exit from the base directly onto the streets and Variblune was able to exit through a small tower. An intercom was also in the room. It took all five of the Gorengers' keys to open the door to their base. On their first mission, Tsuyoshi, Akira, Daita, Peggy, and Kenji looked around in amazement. A voice comes over the intercom, telling them, he is the Commander of the Gorengers. He informs them that Gold Mask has attacked a gunpowder factory. The Black Cross Army are using kindergarten students as hostages and have invaded the factory. The children are in grave danger. Their mission is to safely rescue the children and defeat Gold Mask. Tsuyoshi flicks a switch and another set of doors open. Inside this room are their vehicles, Red Machine, Blue Machine, Green Machine, and Variblune. Their first mission was a success.
Daita and Kenji enter the Gorenger Secret Base as the Commander is giving their instructions. Professor Kudo was attacked and abducted by Samurai Mask. Their mission is to save Professor Kudo and make sure Black Cross Army does not get his equipment. Tsuyoshi leads the group into the adjoining room and they start to get onto their Machines. Daita notices a door and asks about it. Tsuyoshi tells him they can figure that out later and the group heads out. After awhile, Akira, Peggy, and Tsuyoshi return to the base. Peggy bandages up Akira's arm, telling him to bare with it. (Akira had been hit with one of Samurai Mask's arrows.) Akira pretends the wound doesn't bother him at all. Akira wants to be the one to take down Samurai Mask. Tsuyoshi tells him to simmer down and reminds him that their mission is to safely recover Professor Kudo. Tsuyoshi places his hand on Akira's arm hard and Akira cries out in pain. Later, one of the computers is flashing. (Tsuyoshi and Peggy had been captured by Samurai Mask. Tsuyoshi used his Communication Device to contact the Gorenger Secret Base to inform the rest of the Gorengers.) Akira takes a look and knows it's time to get Variblune ready. Akira takes off in Variblune. Variblune arrives in time to rescue Professor Kudo and his son Koichi. The Gorengers destroy Samurai Mask and end his plans to turn Earth into a desert.
Daita enters the Gorengers Secret Base and discovers Akira, Peggy, Kenji, and Tsuyoshi are already there. Akira signals to Daita to be quiet as they are listening to the Commander. The Commander informs them the enemy has developed a new bomb. The blast impact reaches 500 meters underground. Their mission is to steal the detonation device from Black Cross Army's laboratory. The Commander sends the microfilm of their laboratory that was sent from Agent 003. Tsuyoshi takes the paper and microfilm from the slot. He looks at the microfilm as Daita gets closer to the intercom and shouts Commander! The Commander asks, what is it? Daita asks if he is actually Master Gon? The Commander answers that doesn't matter right now! Daita tells him, you don't have to hide it from us. Tsuyoshi decides to head out and takes Daita with him. With much difficulty, Daita and Tsuyoshi retrieve the bomb and return to the base with it. Peggy explains the bomb to the team. There are three types of explosives mixing here...which explode when triggered. The explosion is not tripled, but increases nine-fold. Tsuyoshi notes, the enemy seeks to destroy us. Akira disagrees. If this blows up, many will die. Even the other organizations will get blown away. Tsuyoshi is grateful to Agent 003 and hopes he escapes. The alarm goes off. Kenji picks up headphones and listens. He tells the rest, it's an emergency from Agent 003. Daita is sent to meet with Agent 003, who never arrives. Eventually Daita goes to Snack Shop Gon. He meet Taro outside the shop and they enter together. "Customers" enter the shop, along with Akira, Peggy, Kenji, and Tsuyoshi. Soon the "customers" reveal themselves to be Zolders. Black Cross Army wants their bomb back, they take Taro as hostage. Later, it is agreed that the Gorengers will exchange the bomb for Taro's safe return. Instead, Black Cross Army tricks Ki Ranger into returning the bomb for a dummy that looks like Taro. The real Taro is placed inside the missile. The rest of the Gorengers arrive and battle follows. Eventually Bronze Mask is destroyed and Taro is rescued. After the battle, Tsuyoshi, Daita, Akira, Kenji, and Peggy return to their base. Tsuyoshi tells the group, if they were five seconds late, not only them, but Taro would have been blown up. Daita agrees. The doors to where their Machines are kept open and standing inside is Yoko, Tomoko, and Haruko. Daita, Akira, Kenji, Peggy, and Tsuyoshi are very surprised and more so when cook steps out in a military uniform. Commander Edogawa tells them they did a good job. Peggy states, I knew it. Daita asks about the girls. Commander Edogawa introduces them as his bodyguards and messengers. He steps aside as Yoko steps forward and tells them she is EAGLE Headquarters Agent 007, Yoko Kato. Tomoko steps forward and introduces herself as Agent 008 Tomoko Hayashi. Haruko steps forward and tells them she is Agent 009, Haruko Nakamura. Tsuyoshi thanks them for their work. Akira tells them, I look forward to working with you all. Commander Edogawa reminds Daita that his tab is excessive. Pay up later. Daita replies that he will pay up later. I think I'm eating a little too much! Everyone laughs. Daita adds, your curry is just too good.
Peggy contacts Gorenger Secret Base and reaches Tsuyoshi, giving him the information about the scientist being attacked by Jade Mask. Peggy adds that the scientist is unconscious at the moment but kept saying "Jade Mask" as if he's sleep talking. After awhile, Commander Edogawa enters the Gorenger Secret Base. He tells Tsuyoshi, Daita, Akira, and Kenji that the mold found on the victim's body changes the cell structure of human skin. The Black Cross Army is planning another conspiracy. Their job is to, Daita finishes the sentence, research. Kenji adds at Dr. Muto's laboratory. Daita and Kenji quickly leave. Fortunately the Gorengers were able to stop Jade Mask's plans and destroy him as well.
Commander Edogawa informed the team it appears Black Cross Army is planning on constructing a murderous poison gas factory. Peggy notes how scary that is and that they need to find and destroy them as soon as possible. Commander Edogawa tells them first they need to find the factory immediately. Kenji volunteers for the task. Akira tells Kenji not to ask for more than he can handle. But Kenji wants to defeat Poison Gas Mask. Commander Edogawa tells Kenji the duty of the Gorengers is not to seek revenge. Put your interest in the Black Cross Army aside. We must rescue all of the victims. After awhile, Kenji is about to leave when Commander Edogawa stops him. Kenji tells Commander Edogawa, you know their plan is to defeat us Gorengers. So why are you telling us not to fight? Commander Edogawa replies, we can't let them distract us. Kenji wants to trail them and find their base. Commander Edogawa has already set that up. Haruko and Tomoko trailed Poison Gas Mask in the city, unfortunately, they lose sight of him and split up. Tomoko is attacked by Poison Gas Mask, as he demands he tells her where the Gorengers' Secret Base. Tomoko doesn't reveal the location and eventually, when Poison Gas Mask hears loud noises, he vanishes. Later, Cook enters Gorengers' Secret Base, with a plate of curry in his hand. Daita thinks the curry is for him. Cook passes him the plate and informs the team that Poison Gas Mask was just in Snack Shop Gon. Cook walks over to the computer and turns on a screen. They all see the back of the cloaked figure walking along a sidewalk. Kenji vows to get him. Cook tries to stop him, but Kenji is already gone. Later, the rest of the Gorengers will join Mido Ranger. They successfully destroy Poison Gas Mask with Gorenger Storm and rescue the factory workers. Afterwards, Kenji is very happy with how everything turned out. Peggy smacks him on the back of the head, and tells him not to be so cocky. Peggy adds that she really thought they were going to lose during the gas attack. Tsuyoshi adds, if we didn't have Kenji, we'd be in the 3rd circle of hell. Daita tells Kenji, you were outstanding this time. Commander Edogawa tells them, the Gorengers need to have all five strengths to be able to achieve victory the first time. And if there's one lacking, it won't work. Commander Edogawa praises the team. Daita asks Commander Edogawa if he can deliver him some curry? Commander Edogawa sharply tells Daita, what kind of behavior and speech is that toward your Executive Chief Commander? Daita points out that the Commander did deliver him curry earlier. Commander Edogawa replies, the Master of Gon's Restaurant is my undercover appearance. My real job is this one. Remember what I said! Akira reminds Commander Edogawa to watch his blood pressure, which makes Commander Edogawa angry. Akira, Daita, Peggy, Kenji, and Tsuyoshi laugh.
Commander Edogawa paces inside Gorengers' Secret Base as he awaits for the arrival of the Gorengers. Tsuyoshi enters and asks what happened? He is followed by Akira, Kenji, Daita, and Peggy. Commander Edogawa replies an incident. Daita and Peggy are yawning. Peggy asks Akira, an incident this early? Akira, light heartily replies, of course it's early. Commander Edogawa wants to know what Akira is saying. But Commander Edogawa doesn't wait for an answer. He fills them in on what had happened. The hidden safe was broken into by Steel Ring Mask. He took the microfilm. At this information, both Akira and Peggy become alarmed. Tsuyoshi asks, what is in the microfilm? Commander Edogawa replies, it has the documents about the Gorengers, locations of our laboratories, research stations, and Gorenger personal information. Daita is stunned and states, that's not good. Commander Edogawa tells them they must retrieve the microfilm before they decrypt it. All the Gorengers volunteer for the task. Commander Edogawa selects Kenji and Tsuyoshi and has the rest on standby. Tsuyoshi playfully tugs Daita's cap down and then he and Kenji hop onto their Machines. Commander Edogawa tells them, the microfilm is set to send a signal when opened. After awhile, Kenji contacts the base via his Communication Device. Akira hurries over to listen to the message. Daita and Peggy quickly join him. Akira gets the message (Kenji and Tsuyoshi are fighting Steel Ring Mask and several Zolders and they need their help.) and the three quickly enter Variblune. Once they arrive they join forces with the rest of the Gorengers. Eventually the Gorengers defeat the Zolders, destroy Steel Ring Mask and retrieve the microfilm before any information on the Gorengers was revealed.
Kenji and Haruko are wrapping up Tsuyoshi's arm. Commander Edogawa enters, along with Daita and Tomoko. Commander Edogawa asks Tsuyoshi, what happened? Tsuyoshi apologies and replies Crescent Moon Mask got me. He is a fierce monster who turns people into werewolves. Commander Edogawa concludes, he must be powerful to defeat you. Commander Edogawa asks where Peggy is? Kenji replies, she hasn't come back yet. Daita is concerned. Akira suggests they go and knock down Crescent Moon Mask. But Tsuyoshi has a score to settle with Crescent Moon Mask. He wants to take care of him. The rest agree and Tsuyoshi takes off. Later, Kenji, Akira, and Daita leave in Variblune to rescue citizens who had been captured by Black Cross Army with the intent of turning them into werewolves. Once the citizens were saved, Mido Ranger, Ao Ranger, and Ki Ranger joined Momo Ranger and Aka Ranger in their battle against Crescent Moon Mask. The Gorengers used their Gorenger Storm against Crescent Moon Mask. Crescent Moon Mask was hit and fell apart but soon he reassemble himself and stood back up. Ao Ranger fired his Blue Cherry and it hit Crescent Moon Mask's staff, destroying it and Crescent Moon Mask.
Commander Edogawa sends his team to guard Mr. Scott. Later, the Gorengers rescue Mr. Scott from an attack from Poison Fang Mask. Mr. Scott is taken to Snack Shop Gon where Daita keeps an eye on him, while the rest of the team meets with Commander Edogawa at the Gorengers' Secret Base. Commander Edogawa informs Akira, Tsuyoshi, Kenji and Peggy, that Mr. Scott is a Nobel Prize-winning pacifist. His prize could strengthen the resolve of several people against the Black Cross Army. By assassinating him, the Black Cross Army intend to throw the world into chaos. Tsuyoshi asks, why did he come to Japan? Commander Edogawa replies with a vague, for now, we'll say that he's sightseeing. None of them believe him. Tsuyoshi wants to know what is Mr. Scott's real objective. Guarding him will be a problem if we don't know. Peggy adds, if we knew what he's after, this would be easier. Commander Edogawa answers, I'm having a contact look into it right now. By the way, is Mr. Scott alright? Kenji tells him, he is fine and Daita is guarding him closely. It is apparent Commander Edogawa doesn't like the idea of Daita guarding Mr. Scott. The alarm goes off. Akira picks up the headphones and listens, along with Tsuyoshi. It is Daita, yelling trouble everyone! Akira asks, what's wrong. Daita replies, I was eating curry and Mr. Scott disappeared on me! Somehow, Commander Edogawa is not surprised. Commander Edogawa tells them to look for Mr. Scott. Kenji, Peggy, Akira, and Tsuyoshi leave. Tomoko and Haruko walk in and approach Commander Edogawa. Tomoko tells him they know what Mr. Scott came here to do. Commander Edogawa contacts the team and tells them, emergency orders! We know the results of my contact's investigation! The reason Mr. Scott came to Japan is to search for his daughter, who he parted with 15 years ago. His daughter's name is Amy. She works at a boutique in Shinjuku. He seems to be heading over there. Provide backup. But they are too late. Poison Fang Mask has already poison Mr. Scott with one of his snakes. Mr. Scott is taken to a hospital. There the doctor tells Tsuyoshi and Kenji that there is a serum that would cure Mr. Scott. Tsuyoshi contacts Akira and Daita, who are waiting at the Gorengers' Secret Base, and tells them to go to the Izu Snake Center and bring back some super cobra serum. Daita is still upset with himself for losing Mr. Scott. Akira tells him to cheer up and they head out to Variblune. After awhile, Daita and Akira are successful in their mission and contact Commander Edogawa and let him know the serum's secure. Commander Edogawa replies he will contact the hospital. Hurry over. Soon, Tsuyoshi contacts Commander Edogawa and tells him he wants to have Amy come to the hospital. In order to encourage Mr. Scott until the serum arrives, those two will have to meet. Commander Edogawa replies, understood. Blue and Yellow got the serum. They're heading over. Peggy and Yoko take Amy to the hospital where she reconsiders her actions with her father. Ao Ranger and Ki Ranger deliver the serum and Mr. Scott makes a full recovery. The Gorengers battle and destroy Poison Fang Mask with Gorenger Storm. Amy and her father leave for his home country.
Daita had been kidnapped by Witch Mask. Witch Mask also had stolen the Freeze Beam Bazooka from EAGLE. At Gorenger Secret Base, Commander Edogawa, Tsuyoshi, and Akira are looking at a photograph of a strong fortress. Akira comments, we need to rescue Daita. Tsuyoshi agrees. He also wants to get back the stolen bazooka. Yoko enters the room. She tells the group, Kanta No. 8 Team has gone to the rescue. Tsuyoshi becomes upset, this is not good. Tsuyoshi leaves to help Kanta No. 8 team, but he is too late. Witch Mask and it's Zolders have already destroyed the team. Later, Tsuyoshi is also captured by Witch Mask. With the help of Variblune, the rest of the Gorengers were able to rescue Daita and Tsuyoshi. Variblune also retrieved the Freeze Beam Bazooka. A battle followed and Witch Mask was destroyed by Gorenger Storm.
Black Cross Army had developed a Hurricane Diode which Wing Mask was ready to put into action. Aka Ranger, Momo Ranger, and Mido Ranger fought Wing Mask and several Zolders. Unfortunately, a young girl, Yuki, was close by and Wing Mask grabbed her. Peggy, Kenji, and Tsuyoshi put a plan together to rescue Yuki from Wing Mask. They put the plan into action. Peggy got Yuki and Kenji took her to the Gorengers' Secret Base. Later, Tsuyoshi and Kenji are with Commander Edogawa. Tsuyoshi is worried because Peggy is late. Kenji suggests that she might have been caught. Yoko walks in to report to Commander Edogawa. Commander Edogawa asks Yoko if she has returned Yuki to her parents? With tears in her eyes, Yoko reports that Yuki is a homeless orphan. Her father was a sailor who died at sea. Kenji concludes that is why Yuki is always by the ocean. Tsuyoshi points out they have one hour left and that he will go. Peggy had been captured, but was rescued by Aka Ranger and Mido Ranger. Later Momo Ranger removed the Hurricane Diode from Wing Mask. A battle followed and Wing Mask was destroyed by Gorenger Storm.
Into her Communication Device, Yoko states this is 007 speaking. An emergency alert from 007. Inside the Gorengers Secret Base, Tsuyoshi responds. I'll send them over to Area 203 right away. Ki Ranger and Ao Ranger are sent to the area to search for Silver Heat Mask but it is a trap and Ao Ranger ends up injured. Later, Tsuyoshi is sitting inside the Gorengers Secret Base, when Yoko slowly enters. She walks up to Tsuyoshi as Tsuyoshi informs her that Ao Ranger got ambushed and injured. Yoko is surprised. Tsuyoshi continues, by the way, how did you get your information? Yoko doesn't answer and Tsuyoshi asks her, what's wrong? Yoko lowers her head but still doesn't answer. Tsuyoshi tells her, I'm just wondering why Shinmei and the others got ambushed. Yoko apologizes. It was a lie. Yoko passes a Black Cross Army transmitter to Tsuyoshi. She can barely look at him. Tsuyoshi asks her if she was going to spy on the Gorengers for Silver Heat Mask? Yoko responds no. But, I had no choice. Tsuyoshi angrily throws down the transmitter and it breaks apart. Tsuyoshi yells at Yoko to grow up already! Don't you remember that you're with EAGLE? I understand that you're worried about your little brother. But, it doesn't justify your betrayal of the Gorengers! Hearing the yelling, Peggy enters and asks, what's happening here? Tsuyoshi walks out without answering. Peggy asks Yoko, what is going on with you, 007? Yoko doesn't answer. Silver Heat Mask launches his attack and Japan is in flames. At the Gorengers Secret Base, Daita is rubbing Commander Edogawa's shoulders as he asks, what should we do now? Kenji states, the faster we rescue Taro, the better! Daita responds, we don't even know where to go. Peggy quickly enters. She hands over a letter Yoko left and tells them Yoko is gone. Daita quickly unfolds the letter. The letter states, Dear Gorengers, I don't know how to apologize, especially to Shinmei. I can't bother you guys any more about Taro. I'll make sure to defeat Silver Heat Mask, even if it costs me my life! Tsuyoshi has left to find Yoko. He does and gets her to safety. Ao Ranger rescues Taro and brings him to Yoko. The Gorengers battle Silver Heat Mask and destroy him with Gorenger Storm. Afterwards, at the Gorenger Secret Base, Yoko gives Tsuyoshi her Communication Device. Tsuyoshi smiles as he places it back on her wrist. Yoko is surprised. Peggy, Commander Edogawa, Kenji, and Daita are standing with Tsuyoshi as he tells Yoko, the old Yoko is gone. From now on, I want born again Yoko to have it. Daita is the first to clap and Peggy joins him as does Kenji. With tears in her eyes, Yoko smiles back at them. Commander Edogawa tells Yoko, you'd better go and check up on Shinmei. With tears on her face, Yoko is happy to be working for EAGLE again.
Aka Ranger, Ki Ranger, and Momo Ranger had a difficult battle against Horn Mask and his Human Bombs. They unfortunately had to retreat and Horn Mask and his Human Bombs continued their attack against various EAGLE bases. At the Gorengers Secret Base, Peggy patiently wrapped Daita's head with bandages. Daita noted what a sad state he was in. Such a pity for the world to lose such a manly face. He asked Peggy if she agreed and she quickly agreed. Commander Edogawa was concerned about a one-man deadly explosive. Tsuyoshi added, quite the adversary. Peggy admitted she was frustrated, but we'll show them this time! Commander Edogawa pointed out, if you try to get at them carelessly, you'll get burned, like Daita. Commander Edogawa touched Daita's shoulder, which caused Daita a lot of pain. Yoko hurried in with the news that Horn Mask was searching for the Gorengers. Tsuyoshi used the periscope and quickly found Horn Mask and several Zolders in the city. Daita was watching as well and he was angry. Daita wanted to take off but Tsuyoshi called out for him to stop. Daita angrily asked, are you asking me to hold back? Commander Edogawa answered, exactly. In order to defeat Horn Mask's unit, we'll have to devise some special battle tactics of our own. Daita turned around. Commander Edogawa continued, calm down and eat some curry rice till you're all better again. Daita agreed, alight, I'll eat! I'll eat till I'm full to burst! Unfortunately while Daita was enjoying his curry, Horn Mask entered Snack Shop Gon with several Zolders. They attacked the place, hoping to lure the Gorengers out. Inside the Gorengers' Secret Base, Tsuyoshi and Peggy were watching what was happening in Snack Shop Gon. Peggy was ready to help, but Tsuyoshi stopped her, telling her they were ordered not to leave. They watched as Horn Mask smashed a dessert into Daita's face. Peggy noted the Commander was in danger as a Zolder struck Cook. The Zolder smashed Cook's head onto the counter several times. Peggy cried out, I can't put up with this any longer! She made to leave but Tsuyoshi stopped her again. Tsuyoshi told her, we still haven't devised a way to defeat them. Eventually Horn Mask left but Daita went after them. Later, as Haruko, Yoko, Tomoko, Taro, and Cook cleaned up Snack Shop Gon, a crate arrived for them. Inside was Ki Ranger, badly beaten. Later, Akira and Kenji walked into the Gorengers Secret Base. Tsuyoshi, Daita, and Peggy were there. Daita sneezed several times as Peggy wrapped Daita's arm in bandages. Kenji and Akira walked over to them and Akira noted how beat up Daita was. Kenji stated, sticking you in dry ice and sending you to us...they're mocking us. Daita replied Daita Oiwa has never been so ashamed. Is there really no good way to beat these guys? They all started to think about what they could do. After awhile, Akira stated, in order to defeat the Human Bombs...we have to find a way to confuse their computers. Daita thought that was impossible. They're just walking bombs. Touch them and boom. Peggy wondered if they should wave their fingers, like when you make a dragonfly dizzy, we could confuse their computers? Akira thought it was a good idea. Tsuyoshi agreed. Daita wondered if it would work. Tsuyoshi thought it was worth a shot. Now their only issue is how we defeat Horn Mask, who can quickly transform himself into a rock. After all, even the Storm was useless against him. Commander Edogawa entered and told them he had an idea. Let's go with a time-lag attack method. Soon Peggy was carefully worked on Gorenger Storm, adding the time-lag attack to it. She was surrounded by Commander Edogawa and the rest of the guys as they watched her intently. Yoko, Tomoko, and Haruko hurried in. Yoko told Commander Edogawa, following the attack on Base 15, Base 16 has also been overwhelmed. Tomoko added, Horn Mask is drawing near to the main EAGLE base. If we don't stop him soon...Commander Edogawa told them to calm down. Haruko stated, if you don't send out the Gorengers, then we will...Commander Edogawa told them to stop and watch for a bit. Peggy was sweating profusely and Daita was kind enough to wipe the sweat off. With the encroaching attack from the Black Cross Army at the forefront of her mind, Peggy put all her efforts into creating a new, powerful and effective explosive. Everyone was watching Peggy work intently. Peggy put the cover on Gorenger Storm and excitedly told them, I've done it! The Child-Parent Bomb! Commander Edogawa sent the Gorengers out. The plan worked and Horn Mask and his Human Bombs were destroyed.
At the Gorengers' Secret Base, Yoko Kato informs Tsuyoshi, Peggy Matsuyama, Akira Shinmei, Kenji Asuka, Daita, and Commander Edogawa, that according to info from EAGLE HG, Professor Eguchi came home this morning and then left for work seeming a bit different than he usually acts. Daita wonders what it could mean? Thinking about it, it's pretty strange. Commander Edogawa tells them the place where Professor Eguchi works...it houses Japan's largest nuclear reactor. He wonders if the plant is the target. Tsuyoshi and Akira are sent off to find out. They managed to stop the plant from being blown up, but "Professor Eguchi" (Skull Mask) had managed to get away. Back at the Gorengers' Secret Base, Commander Edogawa informs the group that Skull Mask will likely try a similar tactic again. He'll likely go after another of Japan's great scientists...just like Professor Eguchi. We've created a list of probable victims. Commander Edogawa gives several papers to Kenji. Kenji states he will take Professor Okuma. Peggy takes a sheet as does Tsuyoshi. Commander Edogawa tells them all of EAGLE intelligence is offering us assistance in this case.
