Jade Mask
Black Cross Fuhrer launched his attack on several of EAGLE's branches. At EAGLE Hokkaido Branch, a training exercise is happening. Peggy is riding her horse and putting it through it's paces. Suddenly a Black Cross Army jeep arrives and Jade Mask commands the Zolders to attack. Servicemen try to outrun the bombs. Several of the servicemen fall to the ground as the Zolders fire at them. Afterwards, there is only one survivor, Peggy Matsuyama. Afterwards, Jade Mask returns to the Black Cross Army base. Black Cross Fuhrer stands in front and informs those gathered that the surprise attacks were a success. Black Cross Fuhrer believes there is no one who can stand in their way. Black Cross Fuhrer is ready now for the invasion. Jade Mask and the rest cheer. Unfortunately another attack on a gun power factory does not go well and eventually Gold Mask is destroyed. Black Cross Fuhrer is furious that the Gorengers will dare fight the Black Cross Army. He wants one of his Masks to go and take care of the Gorengers. Samurai Mask immediately volunteers. Bronze Mask tells Black Cross Fuhrer that he will crush the Gorengers. Poison Gas Mask asks Black Cross Fuhrer to choose him. Jade Mask wants to do it. The four Masks all continue to ask to be chosen. Black Cross Fuhrer is pleased and chooses them all.
Jade Mask is running a slide show, featuring each member of Gorenger, their color designation, and their skills, to the Black Cross Army scientists. To make his plan work, Jade Mask wants the scientists and a Zolder gathered there to look for the Gorengers. In the midst of their information meeting, a loud sound is heard. Jade Mask tells Zolder to investigate. The Zolder immediately opens a window and looks outside. He spots a pair of scientists escaping through cellar windows. The Zolder quickly informs the rest as the two scientists make it outside and run. A pair of Zolders quickly chases after them. The two scientists stopped in their tracks, as the Black Cross Army scientists approached them, with guns pointed at them. The two scientists are quickly surrounded. One of the scientists knocks a Zolders' sword away and the two make a break for it again. The Black Cross Army scientists and Zolders chase after them. The Black Cross Army scientists fired their weapons at the two scientist, hitting one of them in their back. The other scientists continues to run and is eventually shot in the shoulder. Struggling, the scientist manages to get away. When the two Black Cross Army scientists catch up, they cannot find the scientist. Jade Mask shouts at them to stop, confident that the scientist will eventually die. Later, inside the lab, Peggy gives her sample to a "scientist", who analyzes it and refers to it as blue mold - the one that grows on oranges. Peggy asks if the blue molds destroy skin? The "scientist" replies that wouldn't happen. There are many kinds of molds...but none that would destroy skin cells. Peggy tells the "scientist" that someone died from it. The scientist tells her, we have mold in our intestines. That means we find these anywhere. The "scientist" gives Peggy back her sample. Peggy asks the "scientist" what he thinks the mold did to the man? The "scientist" answers, the mold didn't do anything. The "scientist" decides to keep the sample and run some experiments on it. Peggy hears a faint cry for help and asks about it. The "scientist" that let her in, answers it's our hill myna. It makes odd sounds sometimes. Peggy doesn't buy it and responds that she though it had said, help me! The older "scientist" stands up and tells Peggy she must like thriller novels and laughs. Peggy is lead out of the building. Peggy thanks the scientist and leaves. But Peggy is not fooled. After Peggy leaves, inside the lab, the older "scientist" tells the scientist with him that they have finally cultured the Jade Mold. He can't believe how easily it grows. He then asks about the hot air balloon. The scientist responds, it will be completed soon. The older "scientist" nods his head, states we can finally wipe out all humans with this and laughs. The older "scientist" takes another look through the microscope, at the Jade Mold. After awhile, Peggy looks through a window, where the older "scientist" is sitting, but he gets up and walks away. Peggy leaves the window and soon spots the cellar window. She opens it and is very surprised to see Dr. Muto and several other scientists below. Peggy asks the man if he is the real Dr. Muto? Dr. Muto replies that he is. He warns Peggy that the place is now occupied by the Black Cross Army and urges her to escape. Before Peggy can respond, she is pushed down into the cellar by a scientist behind her. The scientist closes the window, trapping Peggy inside with Dr. Muto and his scientists. Peggy tries to contact the rest of the Gorengers, but her Communication Device is not working. "Dr. Muto" and a scientist enter. Dr. Muto is taken aback to see himself replicated. "Dr. Muto" notes the reporter has gotten too involved and tells her she can never leave this place. "Dr. Muto" laughs and then reveals that he is Jade Mask. Jade Mask tells them, when you leave here, you will be a Jade doll too. Jade Mask and the scientist leave. After awhile, Peggy attempts an escape. Peggy wraps her Explosive Necklace around the bars of the cell's door. Peggy warns the rest to stand back as she uses her Laser Ring and fires at the Explosive Necklace. The explosion opens the door and Peggy urges the scientists to escape quickly. Peggy is stopped by Jade Mask before she can get away. He tells her their plan will start in thirty minutes. Jade Mask intents to keep her there, and enters the cell. The Zolders try to throw her back in, but she fights them. Jade Mask has Dr. Muto and warns her not to resist or they will kill the doctor. Dr. Muto tells Peggy to keep fighting. Another scientist tries to grab Jade Mask's staff and, instead, is killed with it. Peggy is tossed back into the cell. Jade Mask traps her with his staff and tells her he is going to show her something special. A blind covering a window goes up. Jade Mask pushes Peggy towards the window. The window looks into another room, where a hot air balloon is being filled. Peggy asks what are they going to do with the hot air balloon? Dr. Muto asks if they are going to plant some seeds? Jade Mask responds they are going to scatter the Jade Mold spores. Dr. Muto is upset, what will happen to humanity? Jade Mask replies, every single human will become a Jade Doll and die. Peggy and the scientists are upset. Jade Mask tells them Black Cross Army's mission is to destroy Earth and eliminate humanity. Jade Mask yells at the Zolders to get ready and leaves. Dr. Muto tells Peggy, we can't let them fly the hot air balloon! It will be a disaster. Peggy wishes she had the Communication Device, then she could call for help. Soon the hot air balloon is filled and ready to be released. Jade Mask informs the Zolders, as long as the hot air balloon flies, their plan will succeed. The hot air balloon is released. Peggy, Dr. Muto and the other scientists watch in dismay. Peggy soon comes up with a plan. As one of the Zolders brag, Peggy removes a sharp spike hairpin from her scalp. She throws it at a Zolder and knocks it out. Peggy fights the other Zolders. Peggy wrestles a gun away from a Zolder and fires it at them. Mido Ranger and Ki Ranger open the cellar's window and look inside. Ki Ranger quickly drops down a ladder for them. Peggy tells Dr. Muto and the scientists to hurry. Dr. Muto and the scientists quickly climb up the ladder. Mido Ranger helps the scientists out as Ki Ranger holds the ladder steady. Dr. Muto and his scientists quickly run but stop when they see the hot air balloon above them. Momo Ranger joins the group and tells them they need to bring down the balloon. Mido Ranger is ready to strike the hot air balloon with his Midomerang. Aka Ranger runs up and yells at Mido Ranger to wait. Aka Ranger joins the group and warns them if they make the balloon drop, the mold will spread everywhere. Momo Ranger points out if they leave it, they will scatter the mold too. Jade Mask shouts out to them from above. He gloats, no matter how hard you try, you can't stop the balloon! Ao Ranger fights the two Zolders, striking them several times. One of the Zolders grabs Ao Ranger from behind and the two struggle which causes the hot air balloon to bounce around. Ao Ranger breaks free and lands a blow on the Zolder's back. Ao Ranger strikes the other Zolder several times.
