Black Ranger races up the bleachers and starts fighting Baboo and Squatt. Red Ranger shouts out that it was the Sphinx. At the palace, Rita vows that Red Ranger has had it. King Sphinx flaps his wings once more. This time Black Ranger is flown through the air and lands in the Youth Center. Black Ranger is demorph and lands with his back towards Kimberly on the balance beam. Kimberly whispers to Zack that was weird. Red Ranger battles and defeats the Putties. Red Ranger demands to know what happened to his friends. King Sphinx fires at Red Ranger. Alpha 5, who has been watching the battle, panics. Red Ranger and King Sphinx continue their battle. King Sphinx grabs a hold of Red Ranger and they fly away. They land in a rock quarry, and roll down until they both land on the bottom. Rita is very pleased. Red Ranger and King Sphinx continue their battle. King Sphinx taunts Red Ranger, telling him he is nothing without his friends and he should just give up. Baboo and Squatt have returned to the Moon Palace. They are standing on the balcony with Rita. Rita is very pleased with how the battle is going. Things become more difficult for Red Ranger as Goldar joins in the battle and fires at Red Ranger with his sword. Rita throws down her wand. King Sphinx and Goldar are now giant size and they try to stomp on Red Ranger.
Red Ranger jumps out of the way as King Sphinx tries to hit him with his staff. From her palace, Rita laughs.
