Football Season - Page Two

Once the Youth Center is close, Ernie begins training Tommy.  Tommy does several pushups.  When he is done, Ernie shows him a good exercise for agility.  Ernie demonstrates the exercise.  Tommy tries but inadvertently goes into a karate stance at the end.  Tommy becomes a bit embarrassed.  I feel like I got two left feet.  Ernie isn't too fazed.  Give it time Tommy.  Try it again.  Tommy practices the exercise again.

At the park, Zack, Billy, and Jason are tossing the football around when Kimberly and Trini join them.  Kimberly suggests they have a little scrimmage.  With a smile, Jason agrees.  The teens have fun playing flag football.

Tommy continues his training with Ernie.  Ernie sets up a dummy for Tommy to practice on.  Ernie instructs Tommy to just concentrate.  Keep your eye on the target and go for it.  Get a foothold and don't waver.  A bit nervous, Tommy charges towards the dummy.  At the last moment, Tommy lands a karate kick on the dummy.  Ernie is a bit puzzled and Tommy is embarrassed.  Tommy walks back to the starting point and tries again.  This time Tommy hits the dummy hard, but bounces off and lands on his back.  Tommy confesses that he doesn't know if he can do this.  Ernie tells him, it's not karate, but don't give up Tommy.  You got it in you.  Believe me.  Ernie helps Tommy back up and they continue with the training.

Meanwhile, Bulk is continuing with his training while in detention.  Skull is sprawl onto a teacher's desk, with the book open and a water bottle at the ready.  He instructs Bulk to practice nice and steady.  Bulk practices balancing a book on top of his head as he circles around the desk.  Bulk mutters, you better know what you're doing dimwit.  Skull is slightly offended.  Trust me!  How can you lose with Skullster as your coach.  Skull accidentally knocks over his water bottle and quickly wipes the pages of the book dry.  Skull tells Bulk it's time to go through his exercises again and pounds the desk for emphasize.  Bulk removes the book from his head and goes through his ballet exercises as Skull keeps an close eye and offers some encouragement.
