Green With Evil, Part I - Out Of Control

The Youth Center is having a karate tournament.  Ernie, along with a large crowd, is watching the competition.  Jason is in the competition.  Zack tells Jason to think positive and concentrate on your moves.  Trini adds to focus your mind as well as your body.  Jason thanks them and points out a young man practicing.  Jason tells his friends it looks like he is going to need all the help I can get.  Zack, Billy, Kimberly, and Trini all watch the young man.  Zack remarks the guy is pumped.  Zack asks who is he?  Trini answers that she doesn't know - she thinks he is the new kid in school.  Kimberly adds that he is really cute.  The announcer announces that next will be Angel Grove's finest and a new challenger.

Rita has been watching the competition through her telescope.  Rita asks Squatt, Baboo, and Goldar if they have seen that guy?  Rita thinks he will make a great Green Ranger.  Squatt and Baboo are startled.  Baboo asks her - you mean one of their own kind?  Goldar tells them of course.  Rita tells herself she is such a genius.  Goldar agrees - how brilliant.  The Power Rangers destroyed by another teenager.  Rita confirms this.  Baboo and Squatt get excited and can't wait to see how Rita is going to pull this off.

The competition between Jason and Tommy has begun.  It is a very close match.  Jason initially takes the lead, but they are soon tied.  Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Billy watch the match anxiously.  Within a few moments, Tommy has surpassed Jason in points.
