The time device lands in Angel Grove and the citizens are bewildered by it. Rita is very pleased. The time device stops on a pile of rocks. The alarms go off in the Command Center. Zordon informs them that Rita has sent down a device to open up a time trap. There are also Putty Patrollers gathering outside of town. Zordon wants them to find out what they are doing, as he analyzes the time device. The teens teleport out and land just outside a group. Some Putties spot them and Billy, Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini go into action battling the Putties. Billy and Trini take off to spread out the Putties. Billy suggests they split up. Trini and Billy take two separate paths as the Putties follow them. Trini finds a good hiding place, and the Putties cannot find her. Billy climbs high up the mountain doesn't have the same luck as Trini, as a Putty continues to follow him. Billy soon reaches the edge of the mountain and there is nowhere for him to go.
