Late at night, Squatt sneaks into Billy's garage.  He walks over to the power surge of one of Billy's inventions and switches around the wires.  The plan is to have Billy's brain scrambled and the Rangers so busy helping their friend, they don't notice Rita's monster.

Squatt reports back to Rita that he was successful and she can send a monster down now.  Baboo is there as well.  Rita is very pleased and plans on sending Genie down to Earth.  Rita hollers for Goldar.  Goldar is happy to learn that the Power Rangers will finally be destroyed.  Rita gleefully yells attack!

The next day, Billy and Kimberly are in his garage.  Billy is telling Kimberly about his new invention.  The invention would allow them to read each other's minds.

Outside of the garage, Bulk and Skull are hiding by the Rad Bug.  They can hear the conversation taking place inside.  Bulk asks Skull if he heard that and Skull tells him he thinks he hears a dog, but that is not what Bulk means.  Bulk is excited about the idea of reading minds.

Billy pulls out his invention and Kimberly is impressed.  Kimberly walks over and Billy helps set her up in the invention.  Kimberly warns him to be careful of her hair.

Bulk listens intently as Skull tries to draw his attention.

Kimberly is set up and Billy works on the control panel and then he places himself in the invention.  Skull continues to try and draw Bulk's attention, but he waves him off.  Inside the garage, Billy asks Kimberly if she is ready.  With some hesitation, Kimberly tells him she is.  Billy has a few last minute touches before he pulls the switch.  Outside the garage, Skull stares at the German Shepard and then tries to get Bulk's attention once more. This time Bulk turns his head and spots the dog.  The German Shepard growls at them.  Bulk & Skull take off running as the dog chases them.  Back inside the garage, there are various small explosions as the machine works.  When it is done, Billy and Kimberly step out.  Instead of being able to read each other's minds, the machine switch their brains.
