The Green Candle, Part II - Page Six
Titanus arrives and Ultrazord is formed. Ultrazord fires it's weapons at Cyclops as Cyclops charges towards it. Cyclops is destroyed. The Rangers are jubilant. Red Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers to get to the Command Center. The Rangers leap out of Ultrazord immediately. In the Dark Dimension Goldar watches as the green candle burns. Goldar laughs. The green candle is almost out. Soon my queen shall be all powerful. The green candle burns out. The Rangers teleport into the Command Center. Red Ranger declares he's going back in after the candle. Zordon tells them, I'm afraid it's too late Rangers. The green candle has been extinguished. The Rangers are in disbelief. Zordon tells them there is only one way to stop the transfer of power now. Green Ranger must give up his power coin. Pink Ranger protests. Green Ranger tells her there is no other choice. Zordon tells them giving this coin to another Ranger will prevent Rita from gaining it's power. Green Ranger remarks, I guess this is it. Green Ranger removes the power coin from his belt and gives it to Red Ranger. Red Ranger feels bad for Green Ranger. The power coin glows green and then red. Green Ranger reassures them that he will be alright. The shield and Dragon Dagger transfer from Green Ranger to Red Ranger. Green Ranger feels weak and starts to fall. The rest of the Rangers catch him. Pink Ranger tells him, I'm so sorry. At the Moon Palace, Rita is furious. No! They stolen my power! It's mine and another of my perfect plans ruined! Goldar vows he'll get them back for this. Zordon, his Power Rangers, and that talking tin can too! Back in the Command Center, Green Ranger is sitting on the console. Green Ranger admits that it's over. Zordon confirms it. Green Ranger asks about Rita. Zordon tells them with the coin in Jason's hands, the power is protected. Green Ranger tells them he feels strange inside. Zordon tells him his body is morphing back to it's normal state. Green Ranger admits this is weird. Zordon tells him he is a strong and courageous fighter and a honorable man. Green Ranger stands up and demorphs. Tommy tells Zordon it was great being a Ranger. Red Ranger tells Tommy he is sorry. I tried to get the candle. Tommy knows that Red Ranger did what he had to do. The power is with you now. Use it to defeat Rita. Red Ranger replies, you can count on it. Tommy tells them what's important to him now, is his friendship with all of them. I don't ever want that to change. Pink Ranger tells him it won't. You'll always be one of us.
Tommy is working on a kata, when Kimberly walks up. Kimberly pauses for a moment and watches him, then she walks over. Kimberly doesn't say anything, but Tommy spots her as he is working on his routine. Kimberly tells him that the gym told her she might find him here. Tommy walks over to Kimberly and tells her he likes practicing outside sometimes. Kimberly asks how he is doing? Tommy replies, I'm hanging. Working on my karate, focusing on my schoolwork. Just trying to keep busy, you know. Kimberly tells him we miss you. Tommy replies you guys were a team, long before I showed up. It will all be back to normal before long. Kimberly gathers her courage and tells him that she misses him. Tommy is surprised by the admission. He takes her hand and holds it for a moment as they stare at each other. Tommy leans in and they kiss.
