Jason Lee Scott - The First Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger

Jason Lee Scott was a young man who enjoyed physical challenges. He was a talented marital artist who enjoyed teaching others as well. Jason taught a class at Ernie' s Juice Bar. A place that Jason and his friends like to work out and hang out in. Jason was finished conducting one of his classes and was chatting with his friends, Billy, Kimberly, Trini, and Zack, when the ground began to shake. As Ernie's emptied out, Jason and his friends felt themselves being lifted and carried along in streams of colored lights. They landed in a pile on top of each other in a strange place. As Jason and the others examined their surroundings, a robot by the name of Alpha 5 approached them. As Jason was taking this all in, an even more strange sight awaited him. In a tube was a huge floating head. It introduced itself as Zordon and explained that Jason and the others had been chosen by him to fight evil in the form of Rita Repulsa. The further explanation of dinosaur zords and morphers threw Zack and the others off, except for Jason. As Zack was leading the group out, Jason lingered. He was a natural-born leader and the idea of him being a sort of modern day hero appealed to him greatly. Very reluctantly, Jason followed his friends out of the Command Center. Once outside the building Jason tried to persuade the others that maybe they should give this a shot. They didn't get too far. Before Jason's eyes a group of very strange beings were standing before him and the others. The beings were putties - Rita's evil henchmen. At first Jason and others fought with all their might. The putties merely tossed them around like they were rags. Realizing they didn't have the strength to defeat the putties, Jason encouraged everyone to use their morphers. Jason called out for his dinosaur power and was transform into the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. With these powers intact Red Ranger and the other Rangers made quick work of the putties. The Rangers were then teleported into Angel Grove City. More putties and Goldar were there. The Rangers battle the putties. Then Rita made Goldar giant size. The Rangers summon their zords and formed their Megazord. The Rangers battled and defeated Goldar. Goldar retreated. Elated with their victory the group teleported back into the Command Center. Unable to suppress the grin on his face, Jason quickly told Zordon that he was willing to become a Power Ranger. The others quickly followed suit. With the exception of Kimberly who made a fuss about the helmet messing up her hair, before letting them in on her joke. Thus Jason became the leader of the Rangers and a formidable force of good against evil.

Jason is at the Youth Center, standing by the climbing rope. Kimberly and Zack are standing by him. Jason is about to climb on it, with their encouragement. Trini walks over as Jason starts to climb. Trini urges Jason to be careful. Zack tells her not to discourage Jason. Trini walks over to some exercise equipment. Jason begins lowering himself when Billy walks in with great news. Before he can tell them, Jason ends up on his shoulders. They swing around for a moment and then fall in a heap onto the floor. Everyone laughs. Bulk & Skull walk in and give the teens a hard time. Jason challenges Bulk by telling him that he at least can make it to the top. Bulk takes on this challenge. The first attempt, Bulk doesn't make it. Bulk tries a second time and only climbs a little further before falling to the mats. Some of the plaster falls on Bulk as well. The teens laugh and Kimberly tells Bulk he really showed them this time. Jason and his friends head over to the lockers. Billy tells them what his great news is. At first no one understands what he has said. Trini explains it - Billy ahs come up with a way for them to stay in contact with the Command Center, Zordon, and Alpha 5. Jason, Trini, Zack, and Kimberly accidentally teleport themselves to the Command Center. The teens land in a heap on top of Alpha 5. Billy tells his friends the communicators must have malfunction. Zordon commends Billy on his communicators and with a few adjustments, they will work. Alpha 5 begins making the adjustments when he sets himself off and goes berserk. Jason, Trini, Billy, Zack, and Kimberly step back as Alpha 5 runs around in circles. Later, the alarms go off in the Command Center. Zordon informs them that Rita has sent down a device to open up a time trap. There are also Putty Patrollers gathering outside of town. Zordon wants them to find out that they are doing, as he analyzes the time device. The teens teleport out and land just outside a group of Putties unseen. But another group of Putties have spotted them. Jason, Billy, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini go into action battling the Putties. Billy and Trini take off to spread out the Putties. Jason, Zack, and Kimberly fight the remaining Putties who haven't gone after Trini and Billy. The Putties overpower them and they are surrounded, with the Putties pressing down on them. Billy and Trini arrive and help break them apart. Jason, Zack, and Kimberly form a human chain and knock the remaining Putties into the cactus, and the Putties retreat. Zordon contacts the teens and tells them they did a superb job defeating the Putties. Especially Trini, who had overcome her fear of heights to help Billy. The alarms go off in the Command Center, and Zordon tells them to hold their positions for a moment. Seconds later, Zordon informs them that Rita has sent down Bones. Bones can fire energy bolts out of his eyes. Zordon believes he controls the time device as well. Zordon tells them it's morphing time. the teens morph and teleport to the amusement park. Before the Rangers can do anything, they are teleported into the time warp. Bones is there as well. The Rangers battle Bones. Several Skelton type creatures come running out and the Rangers battle them as well. Baboo and Squatt are in the dimension as well. They light up a bomb to blow up the time device to trap the Rangers. Pink Ranger spots what they are doing and alerts the others. The Rangers use their Blade Blasters on Bones. Bones falls to pieces, but then reassembles quickly. Blue Ranger knows they need to destroy his head and leaps up and grabs it. Blue Ranger tosses it to Yellow Ranger. Yellow Ranger throws it down a crevice. Bones is destroyed, but the Rangers' troubles are not over. Giant breaks through and grabs Red Ranger. the rest of the Rangers are knocked out of the time warp. Giant drops Red Ranger. Zordon sends in Tyrannosaurus Dinozord. Red Ranger is happy to see him and leaps into the zord. Red Ranger, with his zord, battles Giant. Red Ranger destroys Giant. After the battle, Jason, Kimberly, Trini, and Billy return to the Youth Center. They sit at a table and listen as Ernie tells a customer about Angel Grove's newest superheroes - the Power Ranges. The teens laugh. Billy tells them the communicators are fully functional now thanks to Zordon and Alpha 5. The teens get up and walk over to the climbing rope. Billy thanks Trini for coming to his aid and Trini only hopes she never has to do it again. Zack quietly comes in and pulls out a monster mask, which he puts on. Zack sneaks up to Trini and growls at her. Trini quickly climbs up the rope to the top. Jason, Kimberly, Billy, and Zack, as he pulls off the mask, laugh. Zack tells Trini it looks like she has really overcome her fear of heights.

Jason, Billy, and Zack were at Angel Grove High School. They were walking down the hall and stopped to talk to the girls. Trini and Kimberly were gathering signatures for a petition to shut down a waste site. Trini told them they were going to deliver the petitions in the afternoon to the dump site. Jason, Zack, and Billy signed the petition. Trini asked them to come along. Jason felt bad that he couldn't come. He told them he had a karate class, and he couldn't let his students down. Billy had a meeting with the science fair committee, and Zack was suppose to meet with Alpha 5 for something important. Trini told them okay, but it would be more impressive if they went down as a team. Jason, Zack, and Billy walked away. Later, Zordon contacted Jason and Billy and had them teleport to the Command Center. When they arrived, Zack lead them over to the viewing globe, where they could see Kimberly and Trini battling the Putties. Zordon was about to send the guys out when the viewing globe showed Minotaur had arrived in Angel Grove. Zordon sent the guys to take care of Minotaur, he would monitor the girls. Jason, Billy, and Zack morphed and then teleported to the area Minotaur was at. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Black Ranger battle Minotaur. They then used their Blade Blasters on him. Red Ranger, Black Ranger, and Blue Ranger continue to have a difficult time against Minotaur. It was made worse by Baboo and Squatt throwing boulders down on them. Moments later, Minotaur was giant size. The three Rangers tried to avoid being stomp on. Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger arrived. The zords were summon. Tyrannosaurus Dinozord battled Minotaur, along with Triceratops, Sabretooth Tiger, and Mastodon. Pterodactyl Dinozord fired at Goldar and the Putties, who were also in Angel Grove. After awhile, Red Ranger gave the instruction for the Megazord to be formed. The Rangers battled Minotaur with the Megazord, but it was not enough. Zordon contacted the Rangers and told them to come to the Command Center for new instructions. Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers teleported to the Command Center. The Rangers wondered what was going on when they arrive. Zordon told them their zords had gone into hiding and presented them with new power weapons. Red Ranger received the Power Sword. The weapons also come together to form a more powerful weapon. The Rangers teleported out. Red Ranger gave the rest of the Rangers their plan, as they flew across the terrain. First they were going to use their new weapons against Minotaur and if that didn't work, they would put their weapons together. Minotaur was normal size when the Rangers arrived. Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers sued their new weapons against Minotaur. Zordon instructed them that the time was right to bring their weapons together. The Rangers did so. The Rangers fired the new combined weapon to Minotaur. Minotaur was destroyed. After the battle, Jason and his friends return to the high school. They were walking down the all and talking about teamwork. They happen to be walking down the same hall that Bulk & Skull had trashed earlier. Mr. Caplan came walking in and saw the mess and blamed the five teens. Mr. Caplan was gong to talk to them, when a voice came over the loudspeaker that Mr. Quackmeyer wanted to talk to him. Mr. Caplan walked away. Jason suggested they use teamwork to clean the mess up. The teens very quickly cleaned up the mess. When Mr. Caplan returned, he was puzzled as to how the hall looked so clean. Mr. Caplan gave up and walked away. Zordon contacted the teens. He congratulated them and told them they had done well. Zordon also asked them to excuse the static as it was a result of Alpha 5 practicing his dance steps and short circuiting the controls. Zack had taught Alpha 5 the dance moves earlier in the day. Zack told Alpha 5 to forget about the hip hop, go back to being a robot, and keep the controls working.

Jason was at the Youth Center. He was determined to beat the bench press record. Ernie was there, cheering him on and keeping track of the count. A crowd had gathered, and they were all rooting for Jason. When Kimberly finished her routine on the balance beam, she came over to see how Jason was doing. Jason was close to beating the record. Kimberly was very excited, and so was Ernie. Jason asked Ernie what the count was, and Ernie, in the excitement, had lost rack. Ernie leaned down and asked Jason if he could start again. Jason was very exasperated, but started over again. The excitment built once more. Jason was nearing the end, when someone in the crowd pointed out Kimberly's enormous bubble she had blown. Zack had entered the Youth Center on a skateboard and ended up crashing into Kimberly. Kimberly and Zack ended up with gum covering their faces. Once more, no one knew what number Jason was at. Jason couldn't bring himself to start over again and got up. Jason sat at a table with Zack, who had cleaned his face. Zack apologized to Jason and Jason accepted it. Kimberly, also with a clean face, joined them at their table. Zack apologized to Kimberly and she accepted. Jason told his friends he was concern that people would consider him a quitter. Zack couldn't believe Jason would even think that. Bulk & Skull walked in. Bulk gave Jason a hard time about not being able to beat his record - Bulk was the current champion. Bulk got behind Jason and grabbed him, lifting him off the chair. Zack was ready to get up, but Skull pushed him back down. Jason told Zack and Kimberly he got it. Jason asked Bulk if he was ticklish and then preceded to tickle Bulk. Bulk laughed. Jason then stomp on his foot. Bulk bent over and in the process rip the back of his pants. Skull went over to help Bulk by pulling his pants together, which made the front rip apart. Bulk's pants fell to the floor. Skull quickly left. Bulk tried to catch him and trip over his pants and fell to the floor. Jason and his friends laughed. Ernie had reached their table with drinks when their communicators went off. Jason, Kimberly, and Zack covered up the communicator quickly. Zack told Ernie to put the bill on his tab and Jason, Zack, and Kimberly got up and went out into the hall. Zordon informed them that several Putties and a monster, King Sphinx, were at the children's theater. Jason, Zack, and Kimberly morphed and headed out. Red Ranger, Black Ranger, and Pink Ranger battled the Putties. Baboo and Squatt were there as well and sat in the bleachers, cheering on the bad guys. King Sphinx flapped his wings and Pink Ranger vanished. Red Ranger and Black Ranger wondered where she was. Black Ranger told Red Ranger he was going to find out. King Sphinx flapped his wings and Black Ranger vanished. Red Ranger was on his own. Red Ranger battled King Sphinx with his Power Sword. King Sphinx grabbed Red Ranger and they flew to the rock quarry. King Sphinx and now Goldar. Red Ranger had his Power Sword, but it wasn't much help as King Sphinx and Goldar were now giant size. Red Ranger dodged the blasts that were being shot at him. During the battle, there was an explosion in the rocks. Red Ranger raced over and dug into the dirt and rock. He found a packet and inside were the Power Crystals. Red Ranger tossed the Power Crystals and Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, and Pink Ranger had arrived. The zords were summon and the Megazord formed. First in tank mode and then in battle mode. Eventually the Rangers destroyed King Sphinx. The Rangers were about to strike Goldar, when Goldar vanished. After the battle, Jason and his friends went to the Youth Center. Jason gave the bench press record one more try. A crowd had gathered, along with Trini, Billy, Zack, and Kimberly. Jason beat the record. Everyone cheered for the new champion. Jason told Billy, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini he couldn't have done it without them. Ernie walked in with a cake to celebrate. Jason noticed that the cake said Happy Birthday Mom. Ernie had gotten it on sale. Bulk & Skull walked in. Bulk was very upset and told Jason he was going to get his record back. Zack told Bulk to relax and have some cake. Bulk liked the idea. Bulk stated he would get the first piece, which Skull repeated. Bulk walked over, but tripped over some weights, and ended up landing on the cake. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, Trini, Billy, and even Skull laughed.
