Jason entered the Youth Center with a couple of cans of paint. The place as closed, but Ernie was letting him, Kimberly, Trini, and Billy set up for a surprise birthday party for Zack. Billy was working on his cake-o-matic. Kimberly was sitting on the counter, blowing up balloons. Trini was at a table close by, working on a banner. Ernie was behind the counter. Jason overheard their conversation and asked if there were problems. Ernie told him how the cake-o-matic went on the war path and nearly drown him in cake batter. Everyone chuckled. Jason thanked Ernie for letting them stay after hours to work on the party. Ernie commented that Zack was really going to be surprised. Ernie added that he had another surprise - it was about the Power Rangers. Jason and Billy acted as if it took them a few moments to figure out what he was talking about. Ernie was confident that the Power Rangers would do for Angel Grove what Batman has done for Gotham City. Jason asked Ernie what he had heard. Ernie had heard the Power Rangers were regular humans - just like you and me. Jason told Ernie that he had heard the Power Rangers were space aliens from a distant planet. Ernie was totally blown away. Jason asked Ernie to keep it under his hat - they wouldn't want to panic anyone. Ernie walked away, still blown away by the idea of the Power Rangers being space aliens. Bulk walked in, dragging Skull with him. Billy walked up and told him the place was close. Bulk picked up Billy and placed him on top of the counter, telling him the place as closed to nerds like him. Skull had walked over to where Trini stood. Skull grab the banner and pointed it out to Bulk - it was obvious they were planning a party. Kimberly told them they would have invited them, but animals were not allowed. Bulk had walked over to Skull and taken the banner. Bulk blew his nose in it. Trini was outrage - she had worked a long time on it. Skull grabbed her hands and started walking backwards with her. Skull told Trini that he would help her with another banner after they have a little fun. Skull tripped and fell on top of a pile of paint cans. Kimberly laughed. Bulk walked over to Kimberly and deflated the balloon into her face. Jason told him someone should let the air out of him. Bulk furiously charged at Jason. Jason stepped aside and Bulk ran into the pole. Bulk became dizzy and fell into the box of balloons. Skull got up and charged at Billy. Skull ran into another pole and became dizzy. Billy laughed. Skull charged at Billy. Billy opened the door of the cake-o-matic and Skull's head ran right into the batter. Kimberly commented that she hated party crashers as Skull wipe the cake batter from his face. Bulk & Skull left and Jason and his friends continued with the decorations for the party. The only thing left was to keep Zack from finding out. Just then, Ernie came in. Ernie just seen Zack pass by his office window. Jason, Trini, Billy, Kimberly, and Ernie raced around hiding the decorations and cleaning the place up. Jason, Billy, Kimberly, and Trini hid behind the counter. A few moments later, Zack walked in. Zack asked Ernie if he had seen the gang. Trini's mom had thought they might be here. Ernie pointed out the place was empty. It was just him, some paperwork, and his bowl of popcorn. Zack wondered where his friends could have gone. Zack asked Ernie if he seen them, to let them know that he was looking for them. Zack walked out. Ernie whispered that it was okay to come out. Jason, Kimberly, Trini, and Billy stood up from their hiding place. Kimberly commented that had been a close one. The following day, Jason was at Angel Grove High School. He walked down the hall with Trini and Billy. They had ran into Zack, but he barely said hello to them. Jason, Billy, and Trini continued on to where Kimberly stood by her locker. Jason asked what was wrong with Zack? Kimberly told them that Zack thought they had forgotten his birthday. Kimberly was having doubts about have the surprise party. Trini reassure Kimberly that Zack would be okay. Billy added that his disappointment now will only add to his enjoyment at the party. Jason told Kimberly that Zack will be so excited, they will have to peel him off the ceiling. Zack will be okay until then. Kimberly was convinced. The bell rang. Jason and Trini left for one class, while Kimberly and Billy left for another class. Later that day, Zordon contacted Jason. Zack was in trouble battling one of Rita's henchmen. Jason, Kimberly, Trini, and Billy morph and Alpha 5 teleported them to the mountains, where the battle was taking place. When the four Rangers arrived, Black Ranger was on the ground. They made sure Black Ranger was okay. Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers used their Power Weapons against Nasty Knight. After awhile, their weapons were burnt. Red Ranger suggested they use their Blade Blasters. Nasty Knight knocked them to the ground. Rita was there and she made Nasty Knight giant size. Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers summon their zords and formed the Megazord. The battle continued. Red Ranger asked Zordon to send the Megazord's Power Sword. The Megazord used the Power Sword against Nasty Knight. It was soon burnt as well. Nasty Knight then knocked the Megazord to the ground and began kicking it. Black Ranger realized what was going on. Nasty Knight had been reflecting back their weapons' energy. Red Ranger asked what they should do. Black Ranger suggested they reflected Nasty Knight's energy back at him, with a little extra of their own. Nasty Knight was ready to strike once more. The Megazord reflected the energy back at him. Nasty Knight couldn't move. The Megazord got back up and the Power Sword was back to normal. The Rangers battled Nasty Knight. Nasty Knight was destroyed by the Megazord's Power Sword. After the battle, Jason and his friends headed over to the Youth Center. The place was dark and Zack wondered where Ernie was. The lights flickered on and the crowd, including Ernie, shouted Happy Birthday Zack. Zack was totally blown away. Jason asked him if he thought they forgot. Zack admitted he had been bumming. Zack gave his friends a hug. Zack heard a strange sound. It was the cake-o-matic. Ernie race over, muttering he thought it had been fixed. Billy also raced over to the cake-o-matic, that was now spilling out cake batter. The band started to play. Jason, Trini, Zack, and Kimberly went into the crowd and started dancing. The party was a big success.

Jason, Billy, Zack, and Kimberly were at the carnival that had arrived at Angel Grove. Zack was trying out some stilts as Jason, Kimberly, Billy, and a clown watched him. Zack started to dance on the stilts. At first Zack did well, but then he fell. Jason tried to catch him before he hit the ground. Zack joked that Jason was his hero and gave him a kiss on the cheek. The clown and Billy were remove the stilts. Jason, Kimberly, Billy, and Zack decided to check the rest of the carnival out and took off. They stop to watch Pineapple the Clown (Pineoctopus). Pineapple the Clown was giving a juggling demonstration when Trini and her cousin, Sylvia, joined them. Trini introduced Sylvia to her friends. Pineapple the Clown ask who would like to juggle eggs. Sylvia was about to step forward, but Billy was faster and walk up and took the eggs. Just as Billy started juggling the eggs, Bulk & Skull walked up to them. Bulk asked them if they had seen the sign at the front gates - no geeks allowed. Skull threaten things could get messy. The eggs then fell on Bulk's and Skull's head. Kimberly told them the only mess was them. Jason noticed a gymnastics demonstration and pointed it out to his friends. Jason and his friends went over to the gymnastics demonstration and they were soon called in to do a demonstration. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, and a clown formed a human pyramid. Billy told Trini to hurry as they were about to collapse. Laughing, Trini climb to the top. Within a few moments, they all fell to the ground. Trini became alarmed when she spotted that Sylvia was missing. Trini told Jason and the rest she needed to look for Sylvia and muttered that she should have kept a better eye on her. Jason, Kimberly, Billy, and Zack tried a few of the rides at the carnival. After they got off the swings, Trini came running up to them. In her hands was a cardboard cut out of Sylvia. Trini felt the carnival was a trap. Jason and the rest didn't need any more convincing. Trini was to go to Billy's lab and Alpha 5 would teleport there to help return Sylvia to normal. Jason grab a megaphone and announced the carnival was trap. Billy, Kimberly, and Zack help direct the crowds to the exit of the carnival. Soon the place was empty except for Jason, Billy, Zack, Kimberly and a few clowns. The clowns, except for Pineapple the Clown, revealed themselves to really be Putties. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Billy battled the Putties, using the carnival equipment to help them. Soon all the Putties were defeated. Pineapple the Clown melted into the ground and revealed his monster form - Pineoctopus. Jason, Kimberly, Billy, and Zack morphed. Several Putties arrived, along with Baboo and Squatt. Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Black Ranger battled the Putties. Baboo and Squatt sat on the bleachers and cheered the Putties on. During the battle, Red Ranger noticed Pineoctopus was gone and asked Pink Ranger where the monster was. Pink Ranger replied that he must have gotten away during the arrival of the Putties. Black Ranger believed that Pineoctopus went to the park. The Putties were defeated. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, and Pink Ranger teleported to the park. Goldar was there. The four Rangers battled Goldar with their Blade Blasters. Goldar was about to finish them off when Pineoctopus, Baboo, and Squatt arrived. Pineoctopus told Goldar not to finish them off. Pineoctopus wanted to turn them into cardboard cut outs. Pineoctopus began to spread some dust. It had no effect on the Rangers because of their suits. But it did make Goldar, Baboo, and Squatt sneeze. Pineoctopus called them fools and told them to leave. Baboo, Squatt, and Goldar vanished. Yellow Ranger joined the rest of the Rangers. Yellow Ranger had good news. Alpha 5 had restored Sylvia. Rita made Pineoctopus giant size. Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers summoned their zords. The Rangers battled Pineoctopus with their zords. They were doing well against Pineoctopus. The Rangers then formed the Megazord and the battle continued. The Rangers destroyed Pineoctopus. After the battle, everyone, including Jason and his friends, returned to the carnival. Everyone had a great time at the carnival.

Jason was at the park with his friends. Jason, Trini, Billy, and Zack were playing a game of volleyball. Jason and Trini were on one team and Billy and Zack on the other. Kimberly arrived with tray of cold drinks and placed them on the picnic table. Billy had just missed a shot and landed on the sand. Jason and the rest told him he had done well. Billy and Kimberly traded places. Billy watched the game now. Jason and Trini just won the game when several Putties arrived. Jason, Billy, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini battled the Putties. They had a difficult time against them. Eventually the Putties vanished. Jason, Trini, and Zack stood around, trying to figure out what had happened. Billy and Kimberly walked back to the picnic table and had some drinks. Soon Jason, Zack, and Trini walked over. Billy and Kimberly told them volleyball was for dorks. Billy got into Jason's face when Jason asked what was wrong. Kimberly and Billy walked off. The following day, Jason was standing by the lockers with Trini and Zack. Trini hoped that Billy and Kimberly would be okay today. They watched as Bulk struggled to open his locker. When Bulk finally did, lots of food and junk came tumbling out. Jason, Zack, and Trini chuckled. But it was short lived as they noticed a drastically changed Kimberly and Billy walk down the halls. Billy and Kimberly harass a student for money. Kimberly and Billy blew off Jason, Trini, and Zack and walked over to Bulk & Skull instead. Zack couldn't believe that Kimberly and Billy had gone punk on them. Later, Jason, Zack, and Trini were teleported to the Command Center. Billy and Kimberly were there as well, but there were bars surrounding them. Jason, Trini, and Zack asked Zordon what had happened to their friends. Zordon had them go to the viewing globe which showed Baboo putting the punk potion into the drinks. The only way to cure them was to obtain the singing squash. Jason, Zack, and Trini were unable to get the singing squash as Terror Toad had been sent down to Angel Grove. Jason, Trini, and Zack morphed and teleported out. Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger battled Terror Toad with their Blade Blasters. During the battle, Terror Toad swallowed Yellow Ranger. A few moments later, Black Ranger was swallowed as well. Red Ranger was on his own and battled Terror Toad with his Power Sword. Thankfully, Alpha 5 had gotten the singing squash and made the anti-dote. Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger arrived. Red Ranger warned the two Rangers about Terror Toad. Blue Ranger cut off Terror Toad's horn. Terror Toad became furious and swallowed Red Ranger. Blue Ranger would be next. Pink Ranger fired several arrows into Terror Toad's neck with her Power Bow. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger were released. The four Rangers landed hard on the ground. The Rangers held their Power Weapons and battled Terror Toad with them. Terror Toad went flying and hit a tree. Pink Ranger fired her Power Bow which destroyed Terror Toad. On Saturday, Jason was working out at the Youth Center. Zack, Trini, Kimberly, and Billy were there as well. After a few moments, Bulk & Skull walked in. Skull was dressed up with a nice jacket, vest, and a bow tie. Skull was carrying black flowers and walked over to Kimberly. Skull grabbed Kimberly and asked her if she was ready to tear up the town. Bulk used some mouth spray and suggested a double date. Billy had walked up and told them Trini and Kimberly didn't date Neanderthals. Bulk threaten Billy, telling him he wasn't so tough now. The challenge turned into a volleyball match. Bulk & Skull on one side. Billy and Zack on the other. The game started and Jason, Kimberly, and Trini watched. It didn't take long for Bulk and Skull to get tangle up into the net and fall to the floor. Bulk stated that he hated volleyball. Skull repeated it. Jason and his friends laughed.

Jason was at the Youth Center. He was helping Trini practice a kick. There was a lot of activity around them. Several teens were setting up decorations for a dance that was later. Billy and Zack were a part of the teens that were helping to decorate. Kimberly was working on her gymnastics. Bulk entered the Youth Center on a skateboard. Bulk ran into Billy and Zack. The banner covered Bulk's face. Bulk, still on the skateboard, headed over to where Jason and Trini had been working. Jason leaped out of the way, but Trini was unaware of the commotion. Trini gave Bulk a kick. Trini called out a sorry as Bulk continued on his way. Bulk had removed the banner and was now heading towards Kimberly. Kimberly yelled at him to watch it. Bulk yelled back he goes where he wants to go. Ernie walked in, carrying a cake. Bulk headed towards Ernie and he was unable to stop. Bulk crashed into Ernie and his face landed in the cake. Jason and his friends walked over. Skull asked Bulk if he was sure this is where he wanted to go. Jason and his friends laughed. Ernie grabbed a hold of Bulk and Skull and told them they had to follow the rules. Bulk and Skull had to reimburse Ernie for the cake and they were not allowed back. Ernie escorted out the front. Jason and his friends had overheard Ernie. Zack chuckled and told them Bulk and Skull never learn. Zack offered Billy some dance lessons and gave a small demonstration. Billy decline. Billy wasn't interested in dancing to attract female attention. Zack remarked to each his own and walk away. Jason asked Billy who he was taking to the dance. Billy replied no one. Kimberly couldn't believe it. There had to be some girl at school he could ask. Billy would rather work on his weather device and told them so. Billy started to head out. Billy bumped into Marge. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini watched as it was became apparent that Billy and Marge were quite taken with each other. Billy did not leave, instead he sat at a table with Marge. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, Trini stood close by the counter with Ernie. They listened and watched Billy and Marge. At one point, Billy noticed them watching. Jason, Kimberly, Trini, and Zack quickly averted their faces to pretend they had not been watching. They heard them talking about the dance. After a few moments, Trini called Billy over. Jason pointed to his communicator and told Billy it was an emergency. Billy walked over. Jason asked Billy if he asked Marge to the dance. Billy was outrage that this was the emergency. Jason, Trini, Kimberly, and Zack encourage Billy to ask Marge out. But Billy couldn't. Marge got up from the table and told Billy she had to go. Marge then asked Billy to the dance. Billy was very happy and said yes. Billy then suggested they meet at the lake at the park at four o'clock. Maybe they could exchange ideas out his weather device. Marge thought it was a capital idea and she couldn't think of a better place to discuss the weather. Billy and Marge left. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini stayed behind and helped with the decorations for the dance.
