Kimberly was at Billy's lab. Billy was explaining his new invention to her, a machine that would let them read each other's minds. Kimberly and Billy entered the machine and turned on the switched. After a lot of shaking, Kimberly and Billy stepped out. Kimberly was very upset - the machine had switched their minds. Kimberly was in Billy's body. The following day, Kimberly had a difficult time coping in Billy's body. Back at Billy's lab, she tried to help a young boy with his computer and ended up blowing up the computer. Later, Kimberly stormed down the hall at Angel Grove High School - upset over how Billy had applied her makeup and done her hair. Trini, Jason, and Zack couldn't believe the switch. Kimberly was not amused. Zordon contacted the teens. They needed to go to the park and retrieve a lamp - it was dangerous. Kimberly and her friends went to the park. Zack found the lamp and they teleported to the Command Center. Alpha 5 couldn't understand how dangerous an old lamp could be. Zordon explained the danger was the Genie that had left the lamp. Goldar and several Putties had landed in Angel Grove. Kimberly and her friends morphed and headed out. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers battled Goldar and the Putties. Zordon would contact them once more. Goldar and the Putties were a diversion - Genie was in Angel Grove. The Rangers teleported to the area Genie was at. Rita was furious and made Genie giant size. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers summon their zords and form the Megazord. It was a difficult battle. Back at the Command Center, Alpha 5 discovered the source of Genie's power was the lamp. Carefully Alpha 5 destroyed the lamp, which made Genie disappear. After the battle, the teens returned to Billy's lab. Billy had made repairs to the machine. Kimberly and Billy stepped into the machine once more. After several minutes, Kimberly and Billy stepped out. Kimberly was thrilled to be back in her own body. Bulk and Skull entered. They had tried Billy's machine earlier and their minds had been switched as well. After some persuading, Billy allow Bulk and Skull to entered the machine and switch back. After the success, Skull pulled Billy aside and wanted to know if he could use Billy's mind for an upcoming math test.
