TOMMY

Kimberly reassure Tommy that they all consider him a friend and wanted him to be a part of their lives.  As Kimberly talked, Tommy watched the expressions danced across her face.  Kimberly admitted that she missed him.  Before he knew it, he bent down for a kiss - something he had wanted to do for a long time.  After the kiss it was easy to ask Kimberly out.  Amazingly Kimberly turned her back to him and hesitated.  Tommy couldn't believe it.   Now that he finally asked her, was she going to reject him.  It seemed an eternity before Kimberly turned around again.  With a big grin on her face, she teasingly told Tommy she didn't want to make it too easy for him.  Tommy couldn't help but smile too.  He quickly scope her up and spun her around in the air.  Both of them laughing and smiling at each other.

Mayor Carrington had decided to honor the Power Rangers with a Power Rangers day in Angel Grove park.  Meanwhile, Rita had come up with another plan to destroy the Power Rangers.  She had Finster use a dimensional vortex beam that teleport everyone but the Rangers out of Angel Grove.  Rita then sent down Cyclopsis and Lokar to destroy the city.  Although it was difficult, the Rangers managed to destroy Cyclopsis.  Lokar vanished - his whereabouts are unknown.  The citizens of Angel Grove start to reappear in the park.  Everyone is excited to be back.  Bulk and Skull reappear on the stage.  They scream, we're back!  They are so grateful to be back, they begin kissing the stage floor.  Mayor Carrington walks up on the stage and shoos them away.  Ernie very excitedly points out that the Power Rangers have arrived.  Miss Appleby exclaims, my heroes.  Mr. Caplan comes to the conclusion that they must have saved us.  The citizens begin to applaud and cheer.  Mayor Carrington asks the crowd to clear the way for the Power Rangers.  The Power Rangers walk through the crowd as they make their way towards the stage.  Bulk and Skull are very disappointed over the crowds' reaction.  Skull asks, what about us?  Three young boys in the crowd, start to argue over who is the best Power Ranger.  One boy tells them, Red Ranger is the strongest.  Another boy disagrees, Black Ranger is more powerful.  Yet another boy pipes in and says the Blue Ranger is the coolest.  A young girl walks up to them and tells them she thinks the Pink and Yellow Rangers are the best.  Tommy overhears their conversation and tells them, I'll let you guys in on a little secret.  They all are totally awesome.  Each Ranger makes a point of clasping Tommy's hand as they pass.  The Power Rangers walk up on stage.  Mayor Carrington tells the crowd, as the mayor of Angel Grove city, it is with great pride I stand here before you in the presence of true heroes.  They have risked their lives countless times for the safety of our city and it's people.  They are true examples of good triumphing over evil and now it is time to thank them.  They are the Power Rangers.  The Power Rangers step forward on stage and wave as the crowd erupts in cheers.  Tommy cheers his friends on.  The Rangers form a semi circle, place their hands on top of each other, and then leap into the air, shouting Power Rangers!

Some time had passed.  Tommy walked towards the Youth Center, unaware of Dramole underneath the ground and leaving the Youth Center.  Tommy walked into the Youth Center and noted the empty room.  (Rita had sent down Dramole to use it's hypnotic gas to kidnap everyone within the Youth Center and teleport them to the dark dimension.)  Tommy looks around the empty room and asks, where is everybody?

Tommy looks around the empty room and wonders, what is going on here?  Suddenly he is teleported out of the building.  Tommy is teleported into the Command Center and is surprised and happy to see his friends.  Jason walks up to him and tells him welcome back old friend.  Jason gives the power coin to Tommy.  Tommy looks at his friends puzzled.  Tommy's friends explained what was going on. (The parents and teachers at the Parents Day celebrated were teleported into the dark dimension.  Goldar would only release them if they gave up their power coins.  They did so, only to discover Goldar had tricked them and had no intention of giving them back their parents or the power coins.)  Tommy tells them, I'll do anything I can to help, but how?  How can I without my powers?  Zordon states, I believe the only way possible is to infuse Tommy with an enormous amount of my own energy.  Billy becomes alarmed.  That could be extremely dangerous for both you and Tommy!  Jason agrees.  What happens if these temporary powers give out during a fight?  Kimberly feels they can't ask Tommy to take that risk.  But it is a risk Tommy is willing to take.  When do we begin?  The energy transfer from Zordon to Tommy begins.
