Powers From The Past - Page Four

Keeper is startled when he hears Fury's yelling in the woods.  Keeper goes into the woods and looks around.  Suddenly Fury is there and tries to strike Keeper with his weapon.  Keeper and Fury fight.  Fury manages to knock Keeper off his feet.  Fury triumphantly places his foot on Keeper's chest.  Fury growls, we're stuck on this rock, thanks to you Keeper.  What did you do with the Energems?  Keeper responds, you'll never find them.  Fury states, wrong answer.  Fury raises his weapon high, ready to strike, when an explosion takes place behind him.  Fury turns around to look.  He sees the dozens of asteroids hitting Earth and mutters impossible.  Sledge's asteroids.  They're falling.  The dinosaurs try to get away.  Fury notes, I have to get out of here.  Fury takes off running.  Keeper manages to get back up.  The asteroids don't faze Keeper.  He simply closes his eyes and faces the outcome.

Time has passed and it's now 2015.  A museum guide is giving a tour of the dinosaur exhibits.  A group of students follow her through the museum.  A young man, Tyler, separate from the group, is also visiting the museum.  He looks up information about volcanic caves, while checking through a journal.  He notes, that's not far.   Totally worth a look.  A young man with a cart, Chase, is walking by when Tyler stops him and asks, do you work here?  Chase replies, I do mate.  Tyler points to his journal and tells Chase, I'm looking for this cave.  My dad did some exploring here, ten years ago.  Chase takes a look at the drawing and recognizes the Sampson Caves.  He points to a fossil and tells Tyler that fossil was found there.  Its about fifteen miles roughly from the city.  Tyler thanks him.  Chase replies no worries, and places his head phones back on and gets back to his job.  Tyler takes a selfie with the dinosaur fossil before heading out to the caves. 

Chase continues on his way to Dino Bites Cafe.  He enters the busy cafe and sits at the counter.  One young woman, Shelby, is a bit distracted as she searches for her guests.  Shelby accidentally bumps into a chair and some drops into Kendall's soup.  Kendall responds, Shelby, as Shelby scrunches up her face in embarrassment.
