Powers From The Past - Page Two

The small spacecraft continues to fall towards Earth.

Keeper has survive the crash.  He looks around the wreckage, muttering where are they?  They got to be here.  Must find them.  Keeper hears a strange sound and as he turns around, a large shadow is cast over him.  It's a T-Rex.  The T-Rex roars at Keeper.  Keeper tells the T-Rex, I mean you no harm.  Gather the bravest among you.  I need your help.  The T-Rex turns around and walks away.  Keeper thanks the T-Rex.  Keeper continues with his search.  Keeper thinks he has spotted something and quickly hurries over to the rubble.  Keeper removes pieces of the wreckage until he finds a container.  Keeper places the container on the grass and opens it.  Keeper is happy to see the Energems are intact.  Keeper hears an angry growl in the direction of the woods.  It is Fury and he mutters, I can smell your rotten scent Keeper.  Fury bangs his arm against a tree in frustration.  Fury sets off angrily.  He hits some branches as he makes his way through the woods.  He stops when he sees the spacecraft wreckage.  Fury is happy to see Keeper's ship and draws out his weapon.  Fury starts to search for the Energems.  Fury knocks around the wreckage.  Fury notices Keeper's still body and walks over.  Fury states, you finally met your fate.  And just to make sure you're destroyed, once and for all...Fury is distracted by the sight of the container.  He becomes excited that he has finally found the Energems.  At long last, Master Sledge will become invincible.  Fury laughs as he walks away with the container.  Keeper slowly opens his eyes.

Beneath Sledge's Ship is a prison with several cell blocks and numerous prisoners.  Sledge and Poisandra walked the corridor of one of the cell blocks.  Sledge is looking up information.  A bounty of 10,000 space bullions.  After we get the Energems, he might be worth catching.  Maybe this one will do.  Sledge laughs.  Poisandra snaps at Sledge.  No more hunting outlaws and collecting those stupid asteroids.  Poisandra takes the tablet away from Sledge.  Sledge protests, they are not stupid!  Those asteroids and outlaws are going to make me the richest bounty hunter in the universe.
