Dream Snatcher - Page Four

Dream Snatcher snatches Pink Ranger's dreams.  Pink Ranger demorphs as she collapses onto the pavement.  Black Ranger, Red Ranger, and Yellow Ranger kneel by Emma.  Dream Snatcher comments, delightful.  Her dreams devoured so now she will sleep forever.  Yellow Ranger tries to wake Emma up.

Emma wakes up and wonders where she is at.  The place is filled with objects and the floor is covered in fog.  In addition, other people are there, sitting dejectedly.  Emma notes, that monster ate my hopes and my dreams.  In a rare moment, Emma drops to the floor to sit dejectedly as well.  What am I going to do?

The roots of despair grow beneath Emma.  This alarms her friends, who try to wake her up.  Noah examines the roots that are beneath another victim.  Robo Knight notes, these roots will rot the Earth.  I must cut them.  To Noah's alarm, Robo Knight prepares to use his Robo Blade to get rid of the roots.  Noah shouts, no!  If you chop off the roots, you may hurt these people.  Robo Knight lowers his Robo Blade.

Emma notices a little girl and can't believe the monster would steal a little girl's dreams.  How cruel.  I have to make them believe in their dreams again.  Emma is determined as she stands up and walks over to the little girl.  Emma kneels down as she tells her not to be sad.  It's going to be okay.  When you get out of here, what do you want to do first?  The little girl doesn't respond, but Emma keeps up the positive conversation.  Emma tells her, I want to go to the beach and ride the waves.  Emma glances over at the rest of the people and asks, what about all of you?  What do you want to do?  No one responds.  Emma tries to encourage them.  Come on you guys!  Think about all of the fun things.  Think about your dreams, your goals.  Come on! 

The roots of despair disappear from beneath Emma.  Noah notes that only Emma's roots disappeared.  I wonder why?

Emma continues listing her dreams.  And I want to have my photographs published in nature magazines.  And I want to help save the rain forest.

Jake asks, do you remember how many dreams she wrote down?  Maybe there were too many for the monster to eat.  Jake and Gia grin at each other.  Gia adds, I bet it's because Emma will never let go of her dreams.  No matter what.  Noah believes that Emma will encourage everyone in that monster world.
