Emily walked through Shiba House.  Emily:  "Hello!"  Emily walked into one of the rooms and looked around.  Emily:  "Where is everybody?"  Emily continued to look, but the room was empty.  Emily:  "Did they go out without me?"  Emily continue to search for her friends.  Meanwhile, one of the doors slid open and Kevin poke his head out.  Kevin looked around and then closed the door.  Kevin had a tray of food as he turned and faced the room.  Kevin:  "This is going to be tough to pull off."  Mia walked passed Kevin with a box full of paper garlands.  Mia:  "Have a little faith Kev.  Once we get this stuff ready, all we have to do is hide it."  Mike was working on a Happy Birthday sign for Emily.  Mike:  "Tomorrow's going to be great.  It's Emily's first birthday without her sister.  But it's so cool we're doing something special for her."  All three heard a knocking sound and became alarmed as they stared at the door.  The door opened, it was Jayden.  Kevin and Mia were very relieved.  Mike teased them.  Mike:  "You should have seen your faces.  It looked like Master Xandred was at the door."  Kevin:  "Ha! Ha! We just didn't want Emily to find us."  Jayden:  "The coast is clear.  Emily went outside.  What about the cake?"  Mia confided in them with a conspirator tone.  Mia:  "I've got all the ingredients for an awesome cake.  I just need to bake it without her noticing."  Kevin, Mike, Jayden:  "No!!!"  Mia was taken aback.  Kevin:  "I mean we don't want to risk it  Antonio already ordered the cake from the bakery."  Mike, Jayden, and Kevin all put fake smiles on their faces.  Mia accepted their explanation with grace.

Octoroo is worried about Master Xandred.  Octoroo asks Dayu if she is worried, but Dayu isn't.  Octoroo states, he's like a stick of dynamite with a very short fuse.  We have to be careful not to upset the big guy.  That's way what you have been doing is such a bad idea.  Dayu asks him, what are you babbling about now, Noodleface.  Octoroo knows Dayu has been talking to Deker behind Master Xandred's back.  Dayu replies, so what.  Octoroo warns her to be careful.  The boss wouldn't like the little game of you save me and I'll save you.  Octoroo decides he is going to pretend he doesn't know anything about it, for both their sakes.  Dayu sighs and tells Octoroo to just leave her alone.

Antonio is sitting by the riverbank, fishing.  Clawzord is sitting in his cart.  Antonio gets frustrated as the fish are not biting.  Of all the days for the bass to be hiding.  Antonio tells Clawzord they are Emily's favorite.  She was so cool and she accept right into the group from the start.  I just want to catch her an awesome gift for her birthday tomorrow.  Clawzord make some sounds.  Antonio tells him, that's right little buddy.  I'll get you up and running full speed in no time.  You can come to her birthday party too!  Clawzord makes happy sounds.

The waves of the Sanzu River rock the ship violently.  Octoroo and Dayu look out the portholes.  Octoroo comments, these waves sure are rough.  The Sanzu River is almost as wild as Master Xandred has been acting lately.  Master Xandred is slump over and asleep, holding onto his jug of medicine.  Suddenly the jug of medicine explodes.  Octoroo notes that Master Xandred is even angry at his own medicine.
