Jayden was out in the courtyard of the Shiba House practicing with his stick. Mia was doing the same. Emily and Kevin were sparring and Mike was working on his power symbols. Mentor Ji was supervising them all. After awhile, Mike walked up to Mentor Ji and Jayden. Mike: What's up with Kevin? Why is he so worried about everyone? Mentor Ji: I don't know. He's been like that since yesterday. Jayden didn't say anything, but he was concerned. Later, Doubletone was in the park, trying to make a deal with a young boy, Ryan. Red Ranger came leaping in with his Spin Sword. Red Ranger: Hey! Green Ranger and Blue Ranger leaped in as well, battling Doubletone with their Spin Swords. Doubletone was knocked to the ground. Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger hurried over to Ryan. Pink Ranger: Are you okay? Doubletone got back up. Red Ranger: Nighlok, what kind of mischief are you up to with this kid? Doubletone: Nothing. Doubletone glanced over at Ryan. Doubletone: We're friends, right? Ryan looked very frightened. Green Ranger: You're lying! Blue Ranger: Back off! Yellow Ranger looked at Ryan. Yellow Ranger: Run away as fast as you can. Ryan took off running. Doubletone became angry. Doubletone: Stay out of my business! Red Ranger: Oh yeah! Pink Ranger: Come on! Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers race towards Doubletone with their Spin Swords drawn. Green Ranger and Blue Ranger reached him first and battled him with their Spin Swords. Doubletone: Hey! Didn't I just warn you to mind your business? Doubletone knocked Blue Ranger and Green Ranger to the ground. Red Ranger battled Doubletone with his Spin Sword. Doubletone: Fighting you Rangers is like a walk in the park for me. Doubletone kicks Red Ranger down. Doubletone: Your turn girls. Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger battled Doubletone with their Spin Swords. Doubletone: As you can see, I play well with others. Doubletone defeated Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger. Doubletone: The fun has just begun. Doubletone retreated into a tree. Green Ranger: I think he's planning something real bad. Pink Ranger: I'm worried about that kid. We need to find him. Red Ranger: Right. Let's split up and look for him. Yellow Ranger: Right. Pink Ranger: Yeah. Mia and Kevin would be the ones to find Ryan. Jayden, Emily, and Mike returned to their Shiba House. Later, they stood in the doorway and watched as Mia tried to prepare a meal. Jayden: What does she think she's doing? Mike: Making a home cooked dinner to take to Kevin. He's staking out that baseball kid's house, in case that Nighlok returns. Jayden: But Ji does the cooking. Emily: Kevin's feeling sad. So Mia wants to cheer him up with something a little less fancy, you know. Mike: Like burnt chicken? Mia was having trouble cutting up a small pumpkin. She pulled out her Spin Sword and quickly sliced it and hit the pieces into a pot of boiling water. Mia was very proud of herself. Mia: Viola! The next day, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Green Ranger arrived in the woods. Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger had been battling Doubletone. The three Rangers battled Doubletone with their Spin Swords. Doubletone is caught off guard and is knocked to the ground. The three Rangers join Pink Ranger and Blue Ranger. Red Ranger tells them they race here as soon as the gap sensor sounded. Pink Ranger tells them thanks and that they got here just in time. Doubletone summons Moogers. Moogers appear form beneath the ground. Red Ranger battles the Moogers with his Fire Smasher. Green Ranger uses his Forest Spear to battle and destroy Moogers. Yellow Ranger uses her Earth Slicer in the battle. Pink Ranger and Blue Ranger use their Spin Swords against the Moogers. The Moogers are defeated. Pink Ranger summons her Sky Fan and Blue Ranger summons his Hydro Bow. Just as their weapons transform, Doubletone uses his super tsunami attack on them. The two Rangers are able to defeat the attack and defeat Doubletone. Pink Ranger tells him that's what you get for making Ryan so sad. The rest of the Rangers join them. Doubletone is giant size. Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger summon their folding zords. Dragon zord and Turtle zord fly towards Doubletone. Doubletone tries to blast them. Dragon zord returns fire on Doubletone. Dragon zord and Turtle zord team up. Dragon zord grabs a hold of Turtle zord and then flings it against Doubletone. Red Ranger suggests to Green Ranger and Yellow Ranger that they join the rest of the Rangers. The three Rangers summon their folding zords. The Samurai Megazord is formed. Samurai Megazord and Doubletone battle. Doubletone manages to knock Samurai Megazord's sword away. Blue Ranger gets an idea. Blue Ranger instructs the Megazord to do a dragon leap. Samurai Megazord leaps high into the air. Pink Ranger commands aerial turtle strike. The Turtle zord disconnects from Samurai Megazord and strikes Doubletone. Turtle zord returns to the Samurai Megazord as it gets it's sword back. Samurai Megazord destroys Doubletone with the Samurai Strike. After the battle, Jayden, Kevin, Mike, Emily, and Mia are at the baseball game. The coach gives Ryan his equipment back after a nice garbage man gave it to him. Ryan changes into his uniform and goes out onto the field to play. Jayden pulls out his Samuraizer and makes a symbol with it. The symbol hits Ryan in the back. Ryan turns around and sees a glowing image of his dad. Mike, Emily, Kevin, and Mia are stunned. Mike asks Jayden how he did that hocus pocus? Jayden explains he just helped a dream become a vision. But I can only sustain it for a moment. The game starts and everyone watches the game. Ryan makes a great hit and the ball goes flying. Bulk and Spike are there as well and the ball ends up hitting Spike in the head. Ryan makes a home run with everyone cheering him on - including Jayden, Mike, Mia, Emily, and Kevin.

Jayden was walking into the Shiba House as his friends were heading out. Kevin: Hey Jayden, we're going to the amusement park. Jayden: Have fun. Jayden kept walking. Kevin: You're not coming with us? Jayden stopped and turned around to face his friends. Jayden: Not this time. There's something I need to go. Jayden then walked into a small room where he sat down. He held a small wooden box, with a beetle craved in the center of it. Jayden opens the box and inside is the beetle disc. Jayden takes the disc out and stares at it. Later, Jayden is outside. he places the beetle disc into his Spin Sword. Flames appear on the sword. Jayden tries to gain control of the Spin Sword. It is a struggle for him. Suddenly the power form the Spin Sword hits him. Jayden goes flying and hits the ground hard. The Spin Sword lands on the ground several feet form him, the flames vanishing. Mentor Ji walks up and picks up the Spin Sword. Mentor Ji: You're not ready to use the beetle disc yet. You're literally playing with fire. Jayden, you must be prepared to give 100% of yourself. Not just physically, but mentally. Jayden manages to get up on his knees. Jayden: But I'm giving 110%. Mentor Ji: Yes. But you're lacking balance in your life. You're pushing yourself too hard. And that's not letting you be at your best. Jayden got up to his feet and stretched. He walked over to Mentor Ji. Jayden: Yeah. Maybe I am pushing myself hard. But I'm the Red Ranger now. I have to be the best and keep getting better. He took the Spin Sword from Mentor Ji. Mentor Ji: I understand why you stayed behind today. But there was a time when you were younger when we both trained hard. But you still allowed yourself to have fun. I know you wanted to go with the others. Jayden: The Nighlok grow stronger. I must master this beetle disc before it's too late. Mentor Ji: The responsibility you bear is great. But while you need to master the disc, you also need to master balance in your life as a Samurai. Jayden walks a little away and starts practicing once more. Mentor Ji looks at him for a moment and then walks away.
