Daita Oiwa - Ki Ranger I

At EAGLE Kyushu Branch, there is judo training in one of the buildings. Suddenly the building begins to shake. The men race out of the building to see what is happening. Several are shot as they exit the building. Some of the men make it out into the fields. Several bombs explode around them and the Black Cross Army Zolders (foot soldiers) continue to throw bombs at several more buildings. Other Zolders chase after the remaining men. More bombs are thrown at the men. Daita spots Bronze Mask and soon the Zolders are fighting the men. Daita puts up a good fight against the Zolders. But he is struck from behind and collapses. Thinking they have destroyed everyone, Bronze Mask gives the order for the Zolders to move onward. Only Daita Oiwa survives. Days later, Ki Ranger is working out. He walking up a volcano while pulling a heavy truck behind him. Ki Ranger gives himself words of encouragement as he works his way along the road. When he hits a turn, he hears someone shout, well done Ki Ranger! Ki Ranger recognizes Aka Ranger below him. Aka Ranger rides away on his Red Machine. Ki Ranger spots a dog with a sign for a collar. The sign reads Snack Gon. Ki Ranger does a full circle and it is revealed to be Daita. Daita makes his way to Snack Gon and shouts coming in as he enters. Daita is greeted as well. Daita sits at the counter and orders four large curries. Cook tries to talk Daita out of his order. He tells Daita that his large curries are really large. No one can eat four of them. He tells him to go with two. But Daita insists on having four. Cook notes Daita is stubborn. Cook gets to work on the curries. He places the four large curries in front of Daita and thinks it will be too much for him. Daita immediately begins to dig into the curries. Daita compliments the cook on the curries. Cook stares at Daita as he makes quick work of the dishes. Peggy enters and orders ice cream as she sits next to Daita. A young boy enters and Yoko asks him if he wants his allowance? The young boy replies yes. Yoko good naturedly pushes his head and gives him the money. The young boy thanks Yoko and scampers off. Tsuyoshi enters and is greeted as well. Daita, Peggy, and Kenji all turned around in their seats to look at Tsuyoshi. Tsuyoshi walks to the end of the counter and places a small metallic key down. The rest have similar metallic keys and place them down next to his. Daita asks, aren't we one short? Tsuyoshi answers, it's fine. He grabs his key and gets up. Daita, Kenji, and Peggy also pick up their keys and follow Tsuyoshi. The four exit through a door. The four walk down a corridor towards an elevator. As the elevator heads down, Kenji decides to tease Daita with a riddle. Kenji asks him, what sort of lamp can't be lit? Daita quickly asks Tsuyoshi, what the heck could it be? But Tsuyoshi doesn't have an answer for him. The elevator doors open and the four exit. Daita is still puzzling over the riddle as they walk towards another elevator. This one takes them further below. When the doors open, a man is standing there, strumming his guitar, his face covered by his cowboy hat. Daita, Kenji, and Peggy exchange puzzles glances and they walk towards the man. He lifts his cowboy hat and it is Akira. Tsuyoshi holds up his key in front of him. Akira nods his head and holds up his key. The rest take out their keys and hold them up as well. The five place their interlocking keys into a slot next to a door. Once the keys are placed, the door opens. The five enter the room that is their new base. They take a look around the impressive room with numerous computers. A voice comes over the intercom, telling them, he is the Commander of the Gorengers. He informs them that Gold Mask has attacked a gunpowder factory. A look of recognition passes over Tsuyoshi's face. The Commander continues, they are using kindergarten students as hostages and have invaded the factory. The children are in grave danger. Their mission is to safely rescue the children and defeat Gold Mask. Tsuyoshi flicks a switch and another set of doors open. Inside this room are their vehicles, Red Machine, Blue Machine, Green Machine, and Variblune. Tsuyoshi tells Akira that Variblune is his. Daita tells Akira that he wants to ride with him and Akira agrees. Tsuyoshi tosses helmets to Kenji and Peggy. Akira and Daita enter Variblune, Tsuyoshi hops onto Red Machine, and Kenji and Peggy get on Green Machine, with Kenji driving and Peggy sitting in the sidecar. Tsuyoshi, Kenji, and Peggy exit through a tunnel that takes them back into the city. The three drive towards the factory as Variblune prepares for take off. Variblune drives down a runaway and after awhile stops as hatch above them opens up. Variblune lifts up and flies towards the factory. As they fly along, Daita asks Akira the riddle, but gets no answer. At the gun power factory, Gold Mask is giving instructions to the Zolders. He tells them to lock up the kids and to take all the gunpowder. Soon they all notice Variblune above them. The young students are trapped on a school bus, heading into the factory. Their teacher tries stop the bus, but she is stopped by the Zolders. One of the Zolders hits her with his gun and she falls to the pavement. Police arrive to try and rescue the kids, but they are rapidly killed by the firing guns of the Zolders. Tsuyoshi, Kenji, and Peggy arrive. Tsuyoshi and Kenji try to pry the factory doors open, but they won't budge. Tsuyoshi notices Variblune above them and contacts Daita and Akira. He instructs them to blow up the warehouse. Variblune is lowered as the children inside continue to scream for help. The bomb ticks away as Kenji kicks the factory doors in frustration. Variblune drops it's buckets on the building's roof and smashes a hole into the roof. The buckets open and attached to the school bus. The school bus is lifted up and through the roof. Variblune flies away. Moments later, the factory explodes. On his Red Machine, Tsuyoshi pursues Gold Mask. The Zolders throw bombs at Tsuyoshi. Tsuyoshi does his best to outmaneuver the bombs, but he is eventually knocked off his Red Machine. Tsuyoshi is quickly surrounded by Gold Mask and several Zolders. Tsuyoshi fights the Zolders as Gold Mask throws his weapon towards him. Tsuyoshi avoids being hit by the weapon. The weapon returns to Gold Mask. Gold Mask quickly runs towards Tsuyoshi and holds his weapon above Tsuyoshi. Before he can do anything, Ki Ranger, Ao Ranger, Momo Ranger, and Mido Ranger arrive. Tsuyoshi leaps into the air and transforms into Aka Ranger. Furious Gold Mask asks, who are you? The five triumphantly respond, Gorenger! The Gorengers immediately began to battle the Zolders. Aka Ranger takes out his Red Vute and battles and defeats several Zolders with it. Ao Ranger uses his Blue Cherry against the Zolders. Mido Ranger uses his Midomerang against the Zolders. They defeat several Zolders with their weapons. Ki Ranger uses his physical strength to defeat the Zolders he is against. As he fights, he asks the riddle that is still puzzling him. When the Zolder answers a trump, Ki Ranger is very happy but it doesn't prevent him from destroying the Zolder. Gold Mask is about to strike Momo Ranger when she asks him to wait. Momo Ranger removes her weapon - Pink Mirror and uses it against Gold Mask. The battle continues. Momo Ranger calls out a warning to Aka Ranger and he turns around and defeats a Zolder with his Red Vute. The Zolders are soon defeated and Gold Mask runs away. Aka Ranger states it time for Gorenger Storm! Momo Ranger swirls and a silver ball appears in her hands. She kicks it over to Mido Ranger. Mido Ranger kicks it over to Ki Ranger. Ki Ranger bumps his head against the ball and it heads towards Ao Ranger. Ao Ranger kicks the towards Aka Ranger. Aka Ranger jumps into the air and kicks the ball towards Gold Mask, hitting Gold Mask and destroying him. On their machines, Daita, Tsuyoshi, Peggy, Kenji, and Akira drove along the road, knowing their battle with Black Cross Army has only just begun.

At Snack Shop Gon, Daita is devouring his curry. He is surrounded by Tomoko, Haruko, Kenji, and Taro. A Reversi Game Board is in front of them. Daita comments on the difficulty of the game. Daita asks for another dish of curry. Cook tells him he is going to turn yellow, if he keeps eating curry. Yuko enters and announces she is back. Cook welcomes her back. Yuko leans over the counter and in a low voice tells Cook, the experiment has been made. She also shows him some papers. Cook, also in a low voice, tells her good work. The Communication Device goes off on Kenji's wrist. Kenji glances over at Daita and gives a small nod. They both get up and leave, making their way towards Gorenger Secret Base. They enter as the Commander is giving their instructions. Professor Kudo was attacked and abducted by Samurai Mask. Their mission is to save Professor Kudo and make sure Black Cross Army does not get his equipment. Tsuyoshi leads the group into the adjoining room and they start to get onto their Machines. Daita notices a door and asks about it. Tsuyoshi tells him they can figure that out later and the group heads out. Once in the city, the teams splits up. Kenji and Daita drive towards Professor Kudo's home. By the time they get there, several Zolders are leaving the home. Mrs. Kudo is frantic as she collapses on the front steps. Kenji and Daita quickly reach her as she shouts her son's name, Koichi, over and over again. Kenji asks her where Koichi is? She answers, the park. Daita tells the mom to hold on as Kenji leaves to search the park. Koichi is found and taken to Snack Shop Gon. After awhile, Koichi Kudo screams that he wants to go home and tries to run away from Snack Shop Gon. But he is quickly surrounded by Daita, Kenji, Tomoko and Haruko. Daita tries to encourage Koichi to stay by telling him the curry is tasty. But Koichi has no interest in the curry and runs out. Daita races out of Snack Shop Gon, searching for Koichi. Kenji races outside as well, followed by Yoko, Tomoko, and Haruko. Kenji shouts at Daita before you go get him, remember our infiltration! Daita returns to tell Kenji, that the kid was entrusted to me! He asks everyone to help. They all agree and all five run around searching for Koichi. Koichi is hiding close by and when he feels the coast is clear, he takes off running in the opposite direction. Cook steps out in time to see the direction Koichi is running. Cook shouts out, hey yellow!
