The Human Condition - Page Two

Robo Knight walks away but Emma is unaware of this.  Emma:  "She wants her child to know how much she cares about him.  That's how a mother...oh."  Emma turns around and notices Robo Knight is gone.

Gia is working out when Robo Knight walks up to her.  Gia greets Robo Knight as she hears his approach.  Robo Knight asks her, what is love?  Gia repeats the question and then suggests to ask Jake.  He'll tell you all about love.  Gia takes off for a run.

Jake is playing in a soccer game.  Robo Knight stands and watches the game for a moment.  Robo Knight concludes, there is nothing I can learn from him and walks away.

Mr. Burley is walking down the halls of Harwood County High School, distracted by the package in his arms.  Robo Knight and Mr. Burley walk pass each other and exchange greetings.  Mr. Burley suddenly stops and takes a backwards glance as he registers what he saw.  But the hall is empty.  Mr. Burley continues on his way.  Robo Knight walks into the media room, where Noah is working on the school web site.   Noah hears his approach and is very startled when he turns around and sees Robo Knight standing behind him.  Noah quickly gets up and shuts the door.  He asks Robo Knight, what are you doing here?  Noah peers out the window of the door, to make sure no one saw Robo Knight.  Noah turns around and asks Robo Knight, did anyone see you?  Instead of answering the question, Robo Knight tells Noah, there's still much to learn about humans.  I have many questions.  Noah is very surprised by this statement and also overwhelm by the question.  Noah sits down in front of his computer and answers, that's a subject people have written about for hundreds of years.  Robo Knight accepts this as the answer, replies, got it, and walks out.  Noah is still trying to answer the question.  It would take more than a lifetime to read it all.  I just....Noah hears the door slam and quickly gets up.  Noah peers out of the room and sees the swinging doors ahead.  He quietly calls for Robo Knight, but gets no answer in the empty hall.  Meanwhile, Mr. Burley enters his office and places the package on his desk.  He opens the package eagerly and takes out a large telescope.

Robo Knight walks to the Central Library, unintentionally scaring a few people along the way.  Robo Knight walks over the librarian's desk.  She becomes very scare and hold up the "No Cell Phones Allowed" sign to protect herself.  The librarian backs away as Robo Knight reads the sign and removes his morpher and places it on the desk.
