They arrive at Billy's garage. Inside the garage, Billy reveals his surprise - the Rad Bug. A Volkswagen Beetle that has been modified with incredible speed. The teens get into the car. The Rad Bug can fly and that is how they travel to the Command Center. The Rad Bug enters through one of the Command Center's tubes. Alpha 5 is surprised to see an old car and then the teens get out. Alpha 5 is surprised to see them as communications and teleportation have been done for hours. Zordon noticed the stress expressions on the teens' faces and asked them what is wrong. The teens fill Zordon in on the kidnapping of Maria. It is something Zordon has been fearing for a long time and Alpha 5 immediately asks Zordon if Rita is after the Power Eggs. Zordon instructs Billy, Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini to go to the viewing globe. They watch the scenes as Zordon tells them the story. Long ago sorcerers, who referred to themselves as Morphin Masters, have placed power inside the Power Eggs. The Power Eggs were placed in a magic chest and tossed in the sea to be watched over by their ancestors. Only the touch of an innocent child can open the chest. It is urgent that the teens stop Rita. With the power from the eggs, she will be unstoppable.
Inside the cave, Chunky Chicken had no problem getting Maria to open the chest. Baboo and Squatt walked in to get the Power Eggs. Meanwhile, the Rad Bug was on the road that lead to the cave. Back at the cave, seeing the Power Eggs made Squatt want to eat them. Baboo smack Squatt, telling him they were suppose to protect the eggs not eat them. The teens travel through the mountains. Trini is impatient and wants to fly. Billy thinks driving will give them element of surprise.
