Rita returns to the Moon Palace and goes to see Finster in his workroom. Rita tells Finster she needs a monster that can grab a brat for her. A monster that is mean and ruthless. Rita wants a Chunky Chicken. Finster has one ready and places it into the Monstermatic. After a few moments, Chunky Chicken emerges. Rita is very pleased with Chunky Chicken.
Trini and Kimberly set up the picnic as Maria explores the park. When they are done, they call her over. Maria is grateful to have them as friends. Her dad tries, but he just doesn't understand. Kimberly asks Maria who is the raddest bad in her class. Maria is gross out and tells them they are all dorks. Kimberly and Trini laugh. A Putty has land just behind Trini and Kimberly. Maria notices the Putty and asks what it is. More Putties arrive. Trini and Kimberly quickly get up and have Maria stand between them. At first they are successful at protecting Maria as they battle the Putties, but they soon have to spread out. As Kimberly and Trini battle the Putties, another group of Putties grabs Maria and vanish with her. The rest of the Putties vanish as well. Trini and Kimberly are upset. At the Moon Palace, Rita has been keeping an eye on things. Rita is very pleased to see the Putties have successfully taken Maria. Baboo, Squatt, and Goldar are on the balcony with her. Goldar tells Rita he will take Baboo and Squatt with him and teleport to Earth. They will help Chunky Chicken with Maria and the Power Eggs. Rita is very pleased. At the Youth Center, Ernie has just place an enormous dish of ice cream in front of Zack. Ernie tells Billy and Jason theirs is coming up next. Jason tells Zack there is no way he can finish that. Trini and Kimberly enter and hurry over to the counter. Kimberly and Trini tells them about what had happen in the park. Billy is confused as to what Rita would what with a little girl. The teens try their communicators, but they are not work. Teleportation is down as well. Billy, Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini need to get to the Command Center. Billy tells them he has been working on a surprise in his garage. It would help them with their dilemma and asks them if they would like to see it. Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini tells him yes and they all race out the door.
