Zack had asked Angela to go on a double date with him for her birthday. Angela had accepted and Zack made a quick trip to the jewelry store to buy a pair of pearl earrings. Something Rita was aware of and had come up with her own plan. A trip to the jewelry store leaves Zack depressed as he had no idea that pearl earrings were so expensive. Dejectedly Zack walks through Angel Grove park. Dang, what am I going to do? A man sitting on a picnic table calls out to Zack - psst, young man over here. Zack reluctantly walks over. Can I help you, sir? The man replies, no, but I think I can help you with your dilemma. I happen to have a pair of pearl earrings I'm sure you can afford. The man opened his overcoat and the inside was lined with various pieces of jewelry as the man picked out the pearls. Zack is impressed. Those are beautiful. Uh, they're not stolen, are they? The man laughs. No, no. Far from it. In fact, these used to belong to my dearly departed wife, Edna. When I gave these to her she fell in love with me. I always thought of them as a love charm. Zack gets excited. I could really use a love charm. Zack pulls out some money. Uh, will this do? The man replies perfectly, as he takes the money and gives Zack the pearl earrings. Zack thanks him. He can't wait to show them to his friends. This is awesome. Thanks again! Zack leaves the park and does not see the man turn back into a Putty. Zack has no idea he actually has the pearls of stillness. The following day, Billy, Jason, and Trini are walking through the park. Trini wonders how Zack's date is going. Jason is the first to spot the Putties heading their way. The three teens battle and defeat the Putties. Zordon then contacts them and informs them of Rita's plan. When Angela tried on the pearls, everyone in the restaurant became still as statues. Zack and Tommy had left for a few moments and when they returned they were surprised by what they found. Zack and Tommy teleported to the Command Center where Zordon informed them of Rita's plan to destroy the sea which in turn will destroy the planet. Zack and Tommy morphed and teleported out. After a battle with Oysterizer, the spell of stillness was broken and everyone in the restaurant returned to normal. Zack raced to the restaurant to get the rest of the team and informed them what was going on. The teens quickly left the restaurant, morphed and formed the Megazord. The battle was difficult but Megazord and Dragonzord destroyed Oysterizer.
