The Putties managed to get the sack with the scavenger hunt items in it. A toy cannon was placed on the ground and Lord Zedd turned into Cannontop. Cannontop had the ability to transport the Rangers into the lost universe. Instead, the Rangers battled and destroyed Cannontop.

Lord Zedd was pursuing a space craft. The space craft was powered by a diamond, that Lord Zedd wanted to power his Serpentera. The space craft had crashed in Angel Grove park, where Adam, Aisha, and Billy found it and took it the Command Center. Later, the three teens were working in a warehouse, when Lord Zedd found them once more. Lord Zedd created Weldo, who chased the three Rangers and Bookala out of the building. The rest of the Rangers arrived. Weldo was easily destroyed by Blue Ranger and his Blade Blaster. In a short time, Goldar and several Putties arrived.
